It's time to share the AMAZING new Flowers In Bloom Card Kit from MFT with you! I absolutely LOVE this new kit!!
I began by cutting a panel of the included Ken Oliver Watercolor Paper using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics. I stamped the flowers from Flowers In Bloom using Versamark Ink and heat embossed them with black embossing powder. I watercolored the flowers (this was SO fun), using the SUPER awesome Flower Fresh Color Burst Trio. These are AH-MAZING!!!!!
I added a strip of patterned paper from the Black & White Paper Pack down the side of the card. The sentiment panel was cut from Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using the Folded Fishtail Banner Die-namics (LOVE), which is the new Free With $60! I stamped "thanks" from Flowers In Bloom using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder. I cut the side of the banner using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics and then added it to the card, popping it up with foam tape. I finished off the cad with a trio of enamel dots.

ReplyDeleteWow! The striped patterned paper took away the nakedness of the card, and the color is pretty on the flowers. The free 4 60 banner die is a wonderful addition as well.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Jodi. Love the vibrant color of the flowers. I've never tried water coloring with the Color Burst and think I am going to have to try this.
