We Go Together Like Mermaids and Water! {WSC447}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge, and we have a great sketch for you this week! I had a ton of fun creating my card!

I created a beach scene using this week's sketch, and I began with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics. I used the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink to create the cloudy sky. The water was cut from Blu Raspberry Card Stock and the sand from Kraft Card Stock first with the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and then again using the Ocean Waves Die-namics, and then added the panels to the card.

I cut the mermaid, fish, crab, shell and starfish from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Mermaid for Each Other Die-namics, and then stamped them with Mermaid for Each Other using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them all with Copic Markers and then added them to the card. The sentiment panel was cut from a strip of Smooth White Card Stock, and the sentiment stamped using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I added some clear enamel dots, as bubbles, to finish off the card.
