The Cat’s Pajamas Release!

Hi everyone!  Happy Tuesday!
I am back with you today sharing a project I created for The Cat’s Pajamas Release!  You should have found your way here from Wendy’s Blog!  You can see all of the new products right on The Cat’s Pajamas Blog!
Today I have a card to share with you using the ADORABLE new Big Cups set!  SO totally right up my alley…I DO like big cups and I cannot lie!
TCP Tuesday
I started by stamping the sentiment onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with the Stitched Mini Scallop Circle STAX Die-namics.  I stamped this adorable penguin with his big ol’ cup onto X-Press It Blending Card using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I fussy cut him out and colored him with Copic Markers.  I popped him up with Foam Tape next to the sentiment panel, and added a bow of Hemp Cord.
The main panel of Natural Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics and embossed using the Peek-A-Boo Polka Dots Die-namics and Embossing Pad Duo. The patterned paper is from the Free Spirit Paper Pack and I added an enamel dot/rhinestone combo to finish off the card.

Sneaky Peek Week with The Cat’s Pajamas!

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!

I am back with you again today sharing a card I created with The Cat’s Pajamas darling new set, J*lly H*liday!  Such a great set!

TCP Sunday

I LOVE that in this set, you replace a letter of the word with an image!  So fun!  I started with a panel of X-Press It Blending Card using the Single Stitch Line Rectangle Frames Die-namics and stamped “J*LLY” using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I then stamped the wreath for the “o”.  LOVE.  I stamped “”Tis The Season To Be” on top of the sentiment, and then colored the wreath with Copic Markers.  The frame was cut with patterned paper from the Trail Mix Paper Pack and I added that on top of a rectangle panel cut from Silver Sparkle Card Stock.

The main panel of Kraft Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and I stamped many of the images from J*lly H*liday using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink  I wrapped the panel with Hemp Cord and then added a bow of Hemp Cord to finish the card.

Sneaky Peek Week with The Cat’s Pajamas!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!

I am so thrilled and honored to be playing along with The Cat’s Pajamas Team for their delightful new release, available on October 18th!

Today I have a card to share with you using the adorable new set, “This Could Be Vodka” (hehe) and I just think this is SO cute!

TCP Saturday

I stamped this darling image (you all know I am a sucker for cats right? I have FIVE of my own.  Yes.  FIVE) onto X-Press It Blending Card using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, and I stamped some of the tiny images (they are SO cute) onto the coffee cup, also using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I colored the entire image with Copic Markers and then cut the panel using Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics

The main panel was cut from Cement Gray Prestige Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and I added a strip of patterned paper from the Free Spirit Paper Pack.  I wrapped the panel with Hemp Cord and tied a bow of Hemp Cord as well.  I stamped the sentiment, “This Could Be Vodka” on the bottom of the main panel using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

Together Forever {January SFYTT}!

Hi everyone!  Happy Thursday!

I am back with one last card using the fabulous January SFYTT Sketch.  Here is the sketch if you haven't seen it yet:

This month, The Cat's Pajamas sponsored the SFYTT Sisters.  I just LOVE TCP and have lots of their sets and Cut-Ups in my stamping arsenal (I always lol when I type that).

I just had to indulge in some new goodies from the most recent release at The Cat's Pajamas, and I just had to ink up this super cute new Love Stinks set!  I adore these penguins.  I stamped them and colored them with Copic Markers.  The heart and fish both were coated with Spica Glitter Pens for some added shimmer.  I tried to get a good closeup of the shimmer but it just was not happening.  I cut them out and popped them up onto a circle panel embossed with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder.

The patterned paper is Yours Truly from Echo Park Papers and I embossed the background again with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder but used the opposite side than the one I used on the circle panel for a bit of visual interest.  I stamped "love" from the "love stinks" sentiment repeatedly onto the horizontal panel and then added some delish Peppermint Twine (love) and tied it up with a button from Sweet Thing Buttons.

The sentiment was stamped onto a panel cut with the File Tab Die-Namics from MFT and I shortened the panel to fit the sentiment.  I also added three silver brads on top of circles punched with a 1/4 Circle Punch.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!  Next Saturday we will have a brand new SFYTT sketch for you!

Recipe:
Stamps:  Love Stinks from The Cat's Pajamas
Paper:  Pink Lemonade (MFT), Smokey Shadow (PTI), Choice Snow White (TE) and Yours Truly (Echo Park Papers)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories:  Copic Markers, Spica Glitter Pens, Circle Nestabilities, Seeing Spots Embossing Folder, Peppermint Twine, Sweet Thing Buttons, Silver Brads, 1/4 Circle Punch and Jody Boosters

4U {January SFYTT}!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!

I am back today with another sample for the January Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT)!  LOVING this sketch!

You may recall that this month the SFYTT Sisters are sponsored by the super swanky The Cat's Pajamas!  Yay!

For my card today, I used the DARLING Peeking set from The Cat's Pajamas.  This set isn't just about Christmas, so I thought I'd use it to create a Birthday card!  All of the patterned paper is Gathering from Authentique.  Love the warm tones of this paper.

I stamped PJ and colored him with Copic Markers.  I then paper pieced his present, and the bow, with the same papers.   I popped him up on circle panels and embossed the panel with the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder.  I added a border with the Simply Scallops Die-Namics from MFT.

I added a ribbon/bow combo and two brads layered onto circles punched with a 1/4 Circle Punch.  I added stars out of cardstock and patterned paper cut with the Stacking Stars Die-Namics, also from MFT.

Here is a closeup of PJ's darling little face peeking over the present.  LOVE him!

Please check out what my SFYTT sisters have created today here:

The January SFYTT Is Here!

Hi everyone!  Happy Saturday!  The first Saturday of the month means a new Sketch For You To Try!  Take a gander at the first Sketch of 2012...the January SFYTT!  LOVE this sketch.

The SFYTT Sisters are sponsored by one of my favorite stamp companies...The Cat's Pajamas!

For my card today, I went into my TCP drawer of stamps (yes...I have a whole drawer full), and I pulled out the ADORABLE It Had To Be Mew set.  I LOVE me some Sprinkle (and I did spy a new Sprinkle set in the new TCP peeks that will be coming to live at my house!).

I stamped Sprinkle, colored him with Copic Markers and then "fussy cut" him out.  I added some Crystal Glitter to both the heart he is holding and the heart on his top hat.  I cut the circle panels he is on with Circle Nestabilities and on the top circle, stamped "Smitten Kitten" from this set repeatedly in Pretty In Pink ink.

The one piece of patterned paper is from Yours Truly from Echo Park Papers and for the horizontal panel, I stamped the heart from this set repeatedly in Real Red ink.  I added a border with the Little Open Scallop Strip Die-Namics from MFT.  The black background was embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

I stamped the sentiment, "It Had To Be Mew" onto a panel cut with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics and anchored to my card with a felt heart cut with the Hearts A Plenty Die-Namics, which is also adorned with a button cut with the Button Quartet Die-Namics and tied with some twine.

Check out what my super fab SFYTT sisters have done with this sketch today here:

You Make My Heart Spin!

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!!

I had some stampy time this week (thanks for having the girls over Mom!) and was able to create a card for this week's TCP Tuesday Challenge, TCPTUES153!  I must admit, I don't think I would have put these colors together on my own, but I love how they look together!!

My most recent order of swanky-ness from The Cat's Pajamas arrived last week and I could NOT wait to ink up the ADORABLE What A Blast set!  How CUTE is PJ holding the pinwheel?  LOVE him!  I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch from last Sunday, SSSC111 for the layout and all of the patterned paper is from Little Girl from Echo Park Papers.  These papers were PERFECT for this color challenge!

PJ was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card, colored with Copic Markers and then cut out.  The Kraft panel that he is on was embossed the the Seeing Spots Embossing Folder.  The fab scallop circle under the orange panel was created with the new Die-Namics Open Scallop Doily, which I ADORE.

Speaking of things I adore, how DARLING is the pinwheel?  I created it with the Pinwheels Cutup...LOVE it!  It was SO easy to put together!   Tons of machine stitching and some white brads adorn this one, and I created a little flag for the adorable sentiment, "You make my heart spin".  Too cute!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!

Recipe:
Stamps:  What A Blast from The Cat's Pajamas

Hello Gorgeous!

Hi everyone!! Happy Monday!!

My recent order from The Cat's Pajamas arrived and I had a chance to get a bit inky this weekend! I thought I'd try my hand at the color challenge from last week's TCP Tuesday!

I have to admit, I could NOT wait to ink up this ADORABLE penguin from the new Got Love set. He is SO super cute, and fun to color too! I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers. I added some crystal glitter to the hearts, which were "out of the box" when I cut and embossed my panel with Circle Nestabilities.

The patterned paper is Circa 1934 from Cosmo Cricket and I added a border with the Die-Namics Jumbo Ric Rac Die from My Favorite Things. The sentiment, "Hello Gorgeous", also from Got Love, was anchored with two hearts cut from the Die-Namics Hearts A Plenty Die, also from My Favorite Things. A bit of bakers twine and some black Taylor's Tiny Twinkles finish this one off!

Thanks SO much for stopping by! I will be adding this cutie to my Etsy Store!

Recipe:
Stamps: Got Love from The Cats Pajamas
Paper: True Black (PTI), Pure Poppy (PTI), Choice Buttercream (TE) and Circa 1934 (Cosmo Cricket)

January's SFYTT!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday and Happy New Year!!

I am SUPER excited to share the January SFYTT Sketch with you today! You really MUST head on over to Jen's blog for all the deets on how the SFYTT works now! SFYTT participants that play along each month will be eligible for a GRAND prize package at the end of the year!!!

Today's SFYTT is being sponsored by the ever so swanky The Cat's Pajamas. I just received my most recent order from them (holy fast shipping Batman) and can't wait to ink up all the sets I purchased!!
My card today uses the ADORABLE Like You A Latte set, which was a gift from my super sweet MFT Secret Santa, Julie (thanks girl!). I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers. I cut out and embossed the focal panel with Rectangle Nestabilities and then sponged the edges lightly with Memento Cantaloupe and Memento Tangelo.

The sentiment comes in a horizontal strip, so I just inked it up one part at a time and layered it so it was more vertical to fit into the circle (does that even make any sense???). I cut out and embossed the sentiment panel with Circle Nestabilities which I layered over Scallop Circle Nestabilities.

The patterned paper is Campfire from October Afternoon and I finished this off with some simple brown pearly doodads.

A Beary Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!

Here is a card I made for this week's TCP Tuesday at The Cat's Pajamas! I was SO inspired by the rainbow of colors in the inspiration picture, and as soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to use the 72 & Sunny papers from We R Memory Keepers!!

For my card, I used one of my favorite sets from The Cat's Pajamas, A Beary Good Year! I LOVE how you can customize PJ for any occassion and holiday...so fun!!

I stamped PJ, the cake, the present and party hat in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored them all with Copic Markers. I then cut each one out and placed PJ over a circle cut from Circle Nestabilities out of Intense Orange which I embossed with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder.

I kept the layout fairly simple, and I stamped the sentiment, "Have a Beary Happy Birthday" directly onto the patterned paper. I used the Die-Namics Open Scallop Die from My Favorite Things to create the border and adorned it with some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles. My simple red grosgrain bow was created with the Bow Easy.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Drinking Of You!

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!!

Here is a card I made for TCP Tuesday 121 over at Dancing At Pajamas (yes...I know it's Sunday...lol!!). What a FAB color challenge of Denim, Kraft & Red Carole and Joanne came up with!!

For my card, I used the new Toni's Tea Set from The Cat's Pajamas! I stamped the tea cup in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and then again in two different patterns of the new Togetherness by Cosmo Cricket. This is fast becoming my new favorite paper...I think I better get another mini deck!!

I used more of the patterns from Togetherness for my card and I sponged the edges with Memento Potter's Clay to age them a bit. All of the layers were sewn on my sewing machine.

I cut a piece of Kraft with Circle Nestabilities and then embossed it with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder. I then attached my paper pieced tea cup to the circle panel and then stamped the steam from Toni's Tea Set on top. I added some Glossy Accents to the "tea" part of the tea cup.

The sentiment CRACKS me up..."drinking of you" and I created a tag and attached it to the card along with a double flower that I cut from Flower Buttons Cut-Ups and I added a red button and some vanilla thread from my stash.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Enjoy The Ride!

** PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MY SPARKLE CREATIONS POST...THANKS!! **

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card for today's Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT)! I seriously {heart} Jen's sketches!!!

For my card today, I used a set that I just got from The Cat's Pajamas, Joyride! I was TOTALLY enabled by Jackie Pedro with her amazing card HERE!

I stamped this cutie in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored the entire image with Copic Markers. I cut out and embossed the panel with Rectangle Nestabilities and sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe while the panel was still in the die. I layered it with a piece of Wizard Dark cardstock cut from Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities.

The patterned paper, which is where I pulled the colors for the card from, is the DELIGHTFUL new Pixie-Licious by Cosmo Cricket. I never really thought of myself as a purple person, but I am just LOVING it lately (in fact, I just got this bag from Vera Bradley to use as a diaper bag...I am all about the purple!).

I used the green polka dot paper from Pixie-Licious to create the flower and I used the AWESOME new Flower Buttons Cut-Ups, also from The Cat's Pajamas! I added some vanilla thread and created a bow to top it off. I sewed each layer with my sewing machine and added the sentiment, "Enjoy The Ride" directly onto the patterned paper. I also added the "beep beep" sentiment to my focal panel. Both of the sentiments are from Joyride!

Have A Cuppa!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card for today's FABULOUS Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT)!! As usual, I had a blast with Jen's latest sketch!!

For my card today, I used some brand new swank (lol) from The Cats Pajamas...SO fun!!! I got a few new sets, but today I decided to ink up A Cuppa. I stamped PJ in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and colored him (her?) with Copic Markers. I then cut him out and popped him up on Foam Tape onto a piece of patterned paper from Thrift Shop by October Afternoon that I cut out with Circle Nestabilities.

The rest of the patterned paper is also from Thrift Shop. I don't know about all of you, but I am in SERIOUS need of some new papers...I need a paper intervention (lol!). Good thing some new Cosmo Cricket is on it's way to me!

Anywho, back to my card...the fab flower was created with the Flower Buttons Cut Ups, also from The Cats Pajamas. I cut two out of Classic Red cardstock and then added a HUGE black brad from my stash. LOVE these flowers!! The border was created with the Die-namics Open Scallop Die from MFT and I sewed each layer with my sewing machine.

Does This Mean You're A Grownup Now?

Hi everyone!!! Happy Saturday!!!

I had some fun stampy time today, so I decided to FINALLY participate in a challenge over at The Cats Pajamas! I have wanted to for ages so I am excited that I finally played along!!!

This week's challenge is a super fab inspiration pic that you can see on this post. I LOVE the colors in this picture, so I pulled out some yummy papers from Thrift Shop by October Afternoon and got to work!

For my card, I used Smells Like Cake, an AWESOME set that I borrowed from my friend Ann (thanks girl!!). I have a HUGE wish list at The Cats Pajamas, and this set is totally on it!!!

I stamped the penguins in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar Cream and colored the entire image with Copic Markers. The star on top of the cupcake has a coat of Martha Stewart glitter (love that stuff!). I LOVE the sentiment, "Does this mean you're a grownup now?", and I cut it out and embossed it, as well as the focal image, with Circle Nestabilities and sponged both with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo.

I finished off my card with two American Crafts black brads and opted to NOT use any ribbon. The layout is today's sketch at The Sweet Stop, SSS57, and I just added the sentiment panel.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Shut The {SFYTT} Up!!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!!

I bet you are wondering what I am doing posting a card with today's SFYTT! Jen (yes...THE Jen del Muro!!) has invited me to be one of her AMAZING SFYTT Sisters and I am just SOOOO excited!!

As you may know, I {heart} sketches and I am SO honored to be creating cards with Jen's SFYTT sketches and working alongside the UBER talented SFYTT Sisters!!!

For my card today, I couldn't WAIT to ink up a new set that I just purchased by The Cats Pajamas, A Beary Good Year! I have wanted this set since it was released and I was super excited to find it at a stamp store in Stafford Springs CT on my way home from Maine last weekend!

I stamped this darling bear in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers. I stamped the hat, present and cake separately, colored them with Copic Markers and then attached them to my bear panel. I cut this cutie out with Rectangle Nestabilities and lightly sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe to define it a bit.

The patterned paper is a mix of Report Card and Farm Fresh, both by October Afternoon, and I stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment, also from A Beary Good Year, right onto the patterned paper. I created the poofy flower with Cuttlebug Flower Dies and I added a Vintage PTI Button in the center.

Check out what the SFYTT team has done with this sketch right here (I can't believe I get to hang with these gals!!)
