I added a button to the center of each flower, and the sentiment, "A laugh is a smile that bursts" is from Flowers of Happiness by There She Goes.

For my card today, I used a SUPER cute set I picked up at CHA, By The Sea by The Cats Pajamas!! I have wanted some TCP sets for awhile so I was super excited that they were at CHA and I even got to meet Alma!

I stamped this super cute penquin in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and colored him with Copic Markers. I framed him with Square and Scalloped Square Nestabilities.

The paper is a mix of patterns from The Boyfriend by Cosmo Cricket and I stamped the sentiment, "Make A Splash" directly onto the patterned paper.

I added a double ribbon of Crushed Curry Polka Dot Ribbon and Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon.

Cool Beans!!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card for today's sketch over at The Sweet Shop, SSS31!! Today's sketch has a twist and you must using SEWING on your card! I LOVE this challenge since I can't seem to part with my sewing machine these days!

For my card, I started by stamping this UBER adorable Anya from The Greeting Farm (she was a limited edition 80's Anya that I do not think is available any longer!) and I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I colored her with Copic Markers and added Diamond Stickles to her bow (which was stamped twice, colored and then popped up on Foam Tape).

The sentiment, Cool Beans, is from Essential Sentiments from My Favorite Things, and I just think it's like, SO totally perfect with 80's Anya! LOL!!

The patterned paper is the yummy Poppy Field pattern from the Lemonade Collection by Basic Grey, and I pulled all of my colors right from the paper. The cardstock is all Prism, and I used Frosted Teal and Razzleberry Dark. I used a double ribbon of Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon & Whisper White Organza Ribbon. I stitched each panel and then finished off my card with two brads by Basic Grey (gotta love how they match the patterned paper...I am ALL about that!!)
