Merry Christmas!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!

Here is my card for today's challenge at the There She Goes Blog, which is a color challenge of red, blue, green + neutrals, TSG31!!! SO fun!! For my sketch, I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC46!!

For my card, I used the Good Cheer paper from October Afternoon, which has all the colors for today's color challenge in it!! I LOVE this paper and I promise...I will stop using it soon (you know...like, after Christmas!!).

I used the BRAND spankin' new Holiday Tags from There She Goes for my card! I stamped the Christmas tree onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black twice and then cut it out and popped it up on foam tape. I colored it with Copic Markers and added Taylor's Tiny Twinkles for the ornaments. I added a bit of Diamond Stickles to the star on top! While the paper was in the Circle Nestabilities, I sponged some Cool Caribbean ink around the edges for a bit of pop. LOVE the look of that!!

All the layers were sewn with my sewing machine and a simple "Merry Christmas" sentiment, also from Holiday Tags, was stamped directly onto the patterned paper. Two Real Red bows finish off my card!!

You can check out this There She Goes Challenge right here!! There is plenty of time to play along, and one lucky participant will win a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the There She Goes Store! Woot!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

For You!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card for today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS, IC208, Oliebollen! I was SUPER inspired by this Fussenegger Polka Dot Blanket!

The sketch that I used is yesterday's Bellerific Friday Sketch. This post SU! world is SO much fun...I am using SO many different stamps and LOVING every second of it!!

I started by stamping Gracie Lollipop from Stamping Bella in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and I colored her with Copic Markers. I paper pieced her dress and hair bow with the same polka dot patterned paper I used on my card, which is Farm Fresh by October Afternoon. The blue flowered pattern is Report Card, also from October Afternoon. Can you tell I am a touch obsessed with these papers lately?

The sentiment, "For You", is actually from Turtle Tots - Picking Posies, also from Stamping Bella, but instead of using the entire sentiment, "a flower for you", I only inked up part of it.

Notice that I somehow refrained from both sewing AND piercing on my card...it's a shock...I know!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Gracie Lollipop & Turtle Tots - Picking Posies, both from Stamping Bella
Paper: Frosted Teal, Suede Dark Brown, Choice Buttercream, Report Card & Farm Fresh, both my October Afternoon
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Basic Grey Buttons, Copic Markers, Copic Multiliner, Fudge Twill Ribbon and Foam Tape

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers!

The sentiment, "Just Because" is from Essential Sentiments from My Favorite Things.

The patterned paper is Early Bird from Cosmo Cricket and I pierced each layer! The ribbon is from the Taylored Expressions Store and the brads are from SU!

For my card, I started by stamping this DARLING image of a sink full of dishes in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers!!

The patterned paper on my card is Farm Fresh by October Afternoon, and my I created a tag for my sentiment, "God would not have made me this creative if he wanted me to cook and clean"...how FUNNY is that (and SO true in my opinion!!).

I sewed each of my layers again using my sewing machine, and finished off my card with a double ribbon of Fudge Twill and Pink Twill. I added two Vintage Brads to the focal panel to balance my card!

The next stop on today's hop is over at Julie's Blog!!

There She Goes Sneak Peeks Continue!!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday and Happy Thankgsiving!!

Welcome to Day #2 of the There She Goes Sneak Peeks!! Today, the Trendsetters get to share peeks of a FAB new set called Birdie Wishes! I had a BLAST playing with this set!!

Did you make your way here from Jessica's Blog? If so, perfect! If not, please start the hop at the There She Goes Blog!!

For my card, I started by stamping this DARLING scene (all the images are separate for TONS of options!!) in several colors onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock. I started by stamping the branch in Memento Rich Cocoa, the bird in Real Red, the beak and legs in Memento Tangelo and the boughs in Memento Cottage Ivy and Memento New Sprout. I shaded all around my birdie and branch with a Copic Marker (W02) for more definition.

I cut the entire image out with Classic Oval Nestabilities which I then layered with a larger Oval Nestie in Classic Red.

All the patterned paper on my card is from Good Cheer from October Afternoon, and I added a border with my Scallop Border Punch. All the layers (and there are lots!) were sewn with my sewing machine and I finished off my card with two red brads on the bottom corner and a double ribbon of Apple Satin & Bermuda Bay Polka Dot. This set is SO much fun to use...and super easy too! I can mass produce TONS of holiday (and birthday...and love...) cards with this set!!

The next stop on the hop is over at Julie's Blog!!

Make sure you head on back to the There She Goes Blog when you are done hopping and enter your name in Mr. Linky! One lucky hopper will win this set!!

There She Goes Sneak Peeks Begin!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday!!
Welcome to Day #1 of the There She Goes Sneak Peeks!!!

Today, the Trendsetters get to give you peeks of an AWESOME new set that is a LIFESAVER for the holidays and beyond, Holiday Tags!!!

Did you make your way here from the one and only Jessica's Blog? If so, great! If not, please start the hop at the There She Goes Blog!!

I used this AWESOME new set to create a set of three holiday tags!!

I stamped one of the tag frames from this set directly onto some delish Good Cheer patterned paper from October Afternoon, cut them out and then matted them onto Choice Buttercream cardstock. I then added a Classic Red Circle that I cut with Circle Nestabilities and then a Scallop Circle of Choice Buttercream.

I used three different images on my gift tags, a candy cane, a poinsettia and a christmas tree! They were all stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream cardstock and colored with Copic Markers. I then cut them out and popped them up on foam tape for more interest. Each one has a touch of Diamond Stickles for some holiday sparkle!!

The next stop on this rockin' hop is over at Julie's Blog!!

Make sure you head back to the There She Goes Blog when you are done with the hop to enter your name in Mr. Linky! One lucky hopper will win this AWESOME new set!!!

You Always Measure Up!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!

Here is a card that I made for my little one, Meredith! Every time I use a stamp with a little girl, she asks if the card is for her (so cute right!), so I had to make her a card with this SUPER cute Stamping Bella image!!

For my card, I used Leila Always Measures Up from Stamping Bella, which is this DARLING image and sentiment! I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers!

The sentiment, "You Always Measure Up", was stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa onto Choice Buttercream and I punched and layered it with Large & Scallop Oval Punches.

The patterned paper is the DELICIOUS Report Card by October Afternoon, and I kept the embellies simple with a ribbon knot and three brads that I colored chocolate with a Copic Marker (although they still look shiny in this pic!).

That's all for me now, but I do thank you for stopping by! Your comments totally make my day!! I have TONS of stuff to do as I was a slacker all weekend watching New Moon! Off to stamp!!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Leila Always Measures Up by Stamping Bella
Paper: Frosted Teal, Suede Brown Dark, Choice Buttercream & Report Card by October Afternoon
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black & Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Large & Scallop Oval Punches, Fudge Twill Ribbon, Vintage Brads, Copic Markers, Scallop Edge Punch and Foam Tape

New Moon!

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!

So...I FINALLY saw New Moon yesterday...TWICE, with my friend Dina, who is just as obsessed as I!

Here is a pic of us before we left for the 1st movie!

Last year, when Twilight came out, we went to see it together. After the movie, when I got home, I called Dina and told her I wanted to go back again...so we went back and saw it AGAIN just a few hours later!!

This year, with New Moon, there was NO question that we were going to see it twice in one day! We saw a 1:00 showing and then a 4:30 showing!!! It was INCREDIBLE!! I totally could have watched it a third time and I am sure Dina could have also!!

As you can see, we are both decked out in our Twilight apparel! I was sporting my Team Edward shirt (the back reads: "What if I am not the hero, what if I am the bad guy"...as IF!) and Dina chose to rock her "Ciao Volturi" sweatshirt (cracks me up!!!).

It was an AWESOME day and I am already plotting how to go see it for the third time without my husband having me committed!!

Thanks so much for stopping by...and until next time, Ciao Volturi!

Cool Beans!!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card for today's sketch over at The Sweet Shop, SSS31!! Today's sketch has a twist and you must using SEWING on your card! I LOVE this challenge since I can't seem to part with my sewing machine these days!

For my card, I started by stamping this UBER adorable Anya from The Greeting Farm (she was a limited edition 80's Anya that I do not think is available any longer!) and I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I colored her with Copic Markers and added Diamond Stickles to her bow (which was stamped twice, colored and then popped up on Foam Tape).

The sentiment, Cool Beans, is from Essential Sentiments from My Favorite Things, and I just think it's like, SO totally perfect with 80's Anya! LOL!!

The patterned paper is the yummy Poppy Field pattern from the Lemonade Collection by Basic Grey, and I pulled all of my colors right from the paper. The cardstock is all Prism, and I used Frosted Teal and Razzleberry Dark. I used a double ribbon of Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon & Whisper White Organza Ribbon. I stitched each panel and then finished off my card with two brads by Basic Grey (gotta love how they match the patterned paper...I am ALL about that!!)

You can see what the Sugar Babies have created with this sketch right here!!

The November Key Ingredients Are Here!!!

**PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE MY TWILIGHT TUESDAY NEW MOON HOP AND ARTFUL INKABLES NEW MOON HOP PROJECTS!!**

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!!!

I LOOOOOOVE Fridays...and I LOVE them even more when I get to share another AMAZING Key Ingredients with you!! Today, some of the members of the Bakers Dozen are sharing with you the GORGEOUS November Key Ingredients, available now at Taylored Expressions!!

We all know how much I ADORE the Key Ingredients, and we all know that I say that each one is my favorite, but holy guacamole, the November Key Ingredients ROCK my stampin' world!!!

I have some projects to share with you today that are all about being thankful and the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday!! This year, Chris and I are hosting Thanksgiving at our home. We aren't having a huge group, just Chris, Meredith and myself, my parents and his parents, and perhaps my Nani. I don't think it matters how MANY people you share the holidays with...it just matters that you are together with the people that mean the most to you!!

I am an only child, but I never felt anything lacking when I was growing up! For each and every holiday, I was surrounded by my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles & cousins. (I have one or two cousins that also beat me up when I was little, so I didn't miss that whole "older brother" thing...LOL!!). I want Meredith to grow up the same way...surrounded by people who love her more than anything, and I want to instill in her the same values that my parents instilled in me!!

The card that I am sharing with you today is for my parents. I am SO thankful that I have such wonderful parents. I feel like I say "thank you" to them a gillion times a day, and I still don't feel like it's enough! If you look up "supportive" in the dictionary, you would see a pic of my Mom & Dad! They are TOTALLY awesome!

For my card, I started with some of the YUMMY cardstock included in this KI, Rose Dark and Birchtone Dark! The colors in this KI are SOOOOOO rich...I just ADORE them!! I added a strip of patterned paper, which is the Indian Summer collection from Basic Grey! I textured the Rose Dark and Birchtone Dark panels with the Diamonds & Stars Impressabilities from Spellbinders.

For my focal panel, I first cut out one of the Labels 9 Nestabilities from Choice Snow White Cardstock and then, with the die still on my cardstock, stamped "Thankful for You" and one of the GORGEOUS flowers from the newly released Celebrate Life set from Taylored Expressions! I stamped the sentiment in Memento Rich Cocoa and the flowers in two different Memento colors, Rose Bud & Rhubarb Stalk! I LOVE these Memento inks!!! I kept the paper in the die again, and using a sponge, sponged Rose Bud and then Rhubarb Stalk again around the edge of the die. I removed the die and Viola!! I added some DELICIOUS Wine Kaiser Rhinestones (these are included in the kit...yep, it's fabulous!!) to the centers of each of my flowers. I also added them to the corners of my card just because they are so pretty!!

I finished off my card with some luscious ribbon that is also included in the kit...and do you see what else is by my bow? Skeleton Leaves!! These are AMAZING! I hadn't used them before this KI, but they are SO super elegant and easy to use! After I tied my bow, I added the tiniest bit of adhesive onto the bottom of the leaves and just added them under the bow! LOVE them!!

Now, you know me (grin!), so I couldn't just make one project!! Here is have created place card settings for my Thanksgiving table! I must admit, I LOVE how these came out!!

Here is what I did...It was super simple! I started by cutting out 8 Labels 9 Nestabilities from Choice Snow White Cardstock and I then, using a scoring tool, folded them in half.

Once they were all folded, I stamped the same stamps and in the same colors as my card, and I then put them, one by one, back in the die, and proceeded to sponge each one!

You can see here how I adhered them to my card!

When they are folded down, which is how they stay, you just see the "Thankful For You" sentiment. BUT...when you open it up, you can see where I wrote the names of my guests!

Now that I have babbled on and on (lol!), please check out what some other members of the Bakers Dozen have done with this AWESOME November Key Ingredients here:

Charmaine Ikach
Donna Baker
Karen Giron
Laura Fredrickson

Artful INKables is also sponsoring Twilight Tuesday’s Hop that include Twilight Prizes, so be sure to check them out today as well!

Did you arrive here by way of Michelle Lourenco's Blog? If so, perfect!

For my card, I started by stamping this AMAZING image from Into the Moonlight by Artful Inkables in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I created a mask for the image and when I had the mask over it, I stamped the swirl from Into The Moonlight in Memento London Fog so it peeked out from either side of my image.

I colored the entire image with Copic Markers and then cut it out with Rectangle Nestabilities. While the cardstock was still in the die, I sponged Memento Canteloupe onto the edges to give it an antiqued look. I then layered it with a Black Scalloped Rectangle Nestabilities. I did the same sponging technique with my sentiment, "Love Bites"

The patterned paper is one I ALWAYS reach for with my Twilight creations, Rockabilly from SU! and I finished off my card with some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles in BLACK! They look AWESOME in real life!!!

After I created this card, I actually altered it from a card into "Esme's Family Brag Book" (lol!), but you have to check out my Twilight Tuesday Blog Hop post for the deets on that!! (grin!!)

Fabulous Fall!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!!

I am SUPER excited about what I get to share with you today!! Taylor has, once again, AMAZED me with her fabulousness!! Please allow me to introduce to you...the Fabulous Fall Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions!!

The Fabulous Fall Key Ingredients are being offered in limited quanities and at an AMAZING discount (ONLY $12.95 EACH! CRAZY!!). My samples all feature the "Winnie Walls" KI...but there are FOUR...yes, 4 different choices!!! These KI are slightly different from the Key Ingredients normally offered, so be sure to check out Taylor's post today for all the deets!!

Now, all of my cards are NOT based on the Twilight series, but my first one is!! LOL!!

In Twlight, I LOVE when Edward finally tells Bella that he climbs through her window and spends his evenings in her room watching her sleep! This exchange is one of my favorites:

"You did say my name" he admitted
I sighed in defeat. "A lot?
"How much do you mean by 'a lot' exactly?"
"Oh no!" I
hung my head.
-Edward and Bella in Twilight

I had to use this beautiful window image from Fresh Flowers to represent Bella's window, and this card is also for today's Ways To Use it Challenge, WT245, to make a Thank You card!! OK...back to my cards (giggle)!! As you can see, on two of my cards today, I decided to pair my Key Ingredients with some fabulous Taylored Expressions stamps! On my last card, there is NO stamping at all! I used the FABULOUS rub-ons included in the kit for both the focal image of the flowers and the sentiment!!

One of my favorite things about the Key Ingredients is that they are SO easy to work with!! I created all three of these cards in one sitting!! I am generally a slow stamper, but these KI really make my creativity flow!!

I absolutely ADORE the colors and the papers included in this Key Ingredients!! I have quite a few more projects already completed with this kit that I haven't photographed yet, but you can bet you will see them soon!!

The names of the four Fabulous Fall Key Ingredients, which are available RIGHT NOW (and hurry...I have a feeling these are going to go lightening fast!) are:

Winnie's Walls
Morning Meadow
Penelope's Potpourri
Paisley & Petals

Each and every kit, in true Taylor style, is CHOCK full of fabulousness!! Delightful patterned papers, matching cardstock, matching ribbon & matching rub-ons...can it get any better??

Well, yes...I believe it can!! EACH of these Limited Edition Fabulous Fall Key Ingredients will arrive at your doorstep with a full color inspiration sheet featuring 6 cards made with the kit by members of the Baker's Dozen!!

The Loch Ness Monster

**SPOILER ALERT**
Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! With only two days left of my two week countdown to New Moon, I probably should have said this awhile ago!

**If you HAVE NOT read the entire Twilight series, PLEASE just look at my card (giggle!) and do NOT read my post! I ALWAYS put quotes in and something I may choose to quote may give away too much information!**

So, with that being said, here is my card for today's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC255!! Today I have decided to feature quite a rare creature indeed (although...not one of a kind!), a half-vampire, half-human child, Renesmee!!!

Today's quote comes from Breaking Dawn, which, as I mentioned before, is my personal favorite novel in the series. I LOVE when Bella realizes what Jacob calls Renesemee ("Nessie") and she gets a little...shall we say, upset?

"You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness Monster?"
- Bella Cullen

To represent Renesmee, I inked up this DARLING new Ella Lollipop from Stamping Bella! I indulged in a bit of Stamping Bella now that my stamp shelf is WAY emptier! In fact...want to help me empty it even more? HERE is my list of SU! sets that I still have for sale (grin!).

I actually ordered quite a few of these Lollipops, along with some other sweetness all because of my friend, the enabler (lol) Karen Motz!! Thanks Saucy!!

I stamped Ella Lollipop in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers. All the patterned paper is Early Bird from Cosmo Cricket, and my cardstock is Classic Red from Prism. The "Renesme" stamp is from Fictionally Inspired from Artful Inkables, one of their two AWESOME Twilight sets! The AWESOME ruffled ribbon was a gift from my sweet pal Danielle Lounds, and I also added some May Arts gingham ribbon to give it a pop! I finished off my card with three Cherry Brads by American Crafts...love these!

That's it for me for tonight! I have a VERY special Taylored Expressions post both tomorrow and Friday, so I hope you will check back in!! Oh...and check out my fab new watermark! My sweet pal and fellow Bakers Dozen DT member, Karen Giron, created it...she has an AWESOME selection and SUPER fast service too!!

Not The Right Kind Of Monster...

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

Here is my card for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC48!!

For my card, I wanted to focus on everyones favorite werewolf, Jacob Black!

One of my favorite Jacob quotes ever is from New Moon...and is the inspiration for my card:

"Well, I’m so sorry that I can’t be the right kind of monster for you, Bella. I guess I’m just not as great as a bloodsucker, am I?" - Jacob Black

I used this UBER cute digi from The Greeting Farm, "Joseph" (I know everyone wants these but they were a limited edition only!), and I printed him on Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers.

The sentiment, which I LOVE, "Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf?", is from Fictionally Inspired by Artful Inkables! I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black and then stamped the wolf print, from the same set, in Rhubarb Stalk over it after I stamped off once. I punched the sentiment out with the Large Oval Punch and layered it over 1 1/4, 1 3/8 Circle Punches and the Wide Oval Punch as well.

The patterned paper is Earthlove from Cosmo Cricket, and I LOVE this paper! I wanted earthy colors for my Jacob card, so this paper was a no brainer! I used Birchtone Dark, Sunflowers Medium & Spring Willow MediumPrism Cardstock on my card, and I added a brad on either side of my horizontal panel.

I added some piercing to my Jacob panel and then finished off my card with a simple ribbon loop of Chocolate Chip Felt Ribbon.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!! Only a few more days of Twilight Inspired cards...although I am sure they will continue to make an appearance every now and again!!

Recipe:
Stamps: "Joseph" Limited Edition Digi from The Greeting Farm & Fictionally Inspired by Artful Inkables
Paper: Birchtone Dark, Sunflowers Medium, Spring Willow Medium, Choice Snow White & Earthlove by Cosmo Cricket
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black & Rhubarb Stalk

Isle Esme!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!

I think we should travel today, shall we? How about to that remote, delightful island that us Twilight fanatics know as Isle Esme!!

I LOVE when Edward tells Bella that their honeymoon destination is Isle Esme, an island that Carlisle bought as a gift for Esme!

"Who gives an island as a gift? I frowned. I hadn't realized that Edward's extreme generosity was a learned behavior" - Bella

How PERFECT is this stamp to represent Isle Esme! LOVE it!!! I started by stamping my image, which is from Life's A Beach from There She Goes, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I then stamped it on a post it note, cut it out and created a mask. Once I had my mask over my image, I used my brayer to create the sunset sky and the water!!

I used two different Kaleidacolor inks for this! For the sky I used Desert Heat, and for the ocean, Blue Breeze!! After I brayered on my colors, I lifed off my mask and colored my image with Copic Markers.

I framed my image with Scalloped Rectangle Nestabilities, and added some piercing. My layout is from the Get Sketchy Blog, and this one is GS14!

The patterned paper on my card is from Razzleberry Lemonade by SU! and I used Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo cardstock. I finished it off with some ribbon and brads from my stash!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Papercut...

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!! Welcome to a VERY special blog hop for a VERY special friend, Nancy McKinney!!! Nancy is one SUPER talented gal! She is a stamp designer for Taylored Expressions, an amazing blog designer, and not to mention, that girl can STAMP!!

Did you make your way here from my pal Wendy's Blog? If so, perfection! If not, head on over to my sweet & saucy friend Karen's Blog to start the hop from the beginning!!

So, sweet Nancy is a Twilight fan, just like yours truly, so there was NO doubt that I was going to make her a Twilight, or in this case, New Moon inspired card!!

My inspiration for this card is Bella's birthday, and of course, her fateful birthday party!!

On the morning of her birthday, don't you love when Edward says:

"So, as discussed, I am not allowed to wish you a happy birthday, is that correct?"

I can't WAIT for that scene in the movie!

I started by printing this limited edition digi from The Greeting Farm, "Camille" (Bella!), onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers. I cut her out with Classic Oval Nestabilities, and while the nestie was still on the cardstock, I sponged around the edge with some Canteloupe Memento Ink. I LOVE the way this ink sponges!!

I used some yummy Earthlove paper from Cosmo Cricket for my card, and the layout was inspired by a this card by my pal Sandra MacLean!

The sentiment, "Happy Birthday" is from Fresh Flowers by Taylored Expressions, and I stamped it in Memento Rich Cocoa directly onto the patterned paper.

All the cardstock is Prism, and I used Suede Dark Brown and Spring Willow Medium! I finished this off with some Fudge Twill Ribbon that I knotted and two brown brads from my stash!!

The next stop on this special birthday hop is over at my sweet friend Donna's Blog!!

Here is a list of the hoppers today, just in case you get lost along the way!!

Karen Motz
Dana White
Michelle Leishman
Janet Rossi
Wendy Bond
Jodi Collins <-------------- You are here!
Donna Baker
Karen Giron

And of course, make sure you head on over to Nancy's Blog and leave her some birthday love!!

Nancy, Happy Birthday my friend!!! I hope you have a WONDERFUL day...and watch out for those papercuts...we don't want Jasper to take a snap at ya!!! MWAH!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Team Emmett!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card for today's sketch over at The Sweet Shop, SSS30!

For my card today, I thought I would give a shout out to everyone's favorite older {vampire} brother, Emmett!!

I am a HUGE Emmett fan, and I love how FUNNY he is throught the series!! My ALL time favorite Emmett quote is from Breaking Dawn when Bella is now way stronger than he is and challenges him to an arm wrestling match. His reply:

"Awesome. Bring it"

My Emmett is the limited edition "Jeremy" digi stamp from The Greeting Farm, and I printed him out onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers. As I do with all my vampires, I added a coat of Candle Light Shimmerz to his skin.
The patterned paper is the retired Apple Cider (I think) from SU!, and I used some Vintage Brads to tie into my fall color theme.
The sentiment, "Team Emmett" is from the Ficitionally Inspired set from Artful Inkables. LOVE this set!
You can see what the Sugar Babies have created with this sketch right here!!

My Superman - Sweet, Strong & Sparkly!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!

Here is my card for today's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC91! I LOVE this sketch and as soon as I saw it, I knew just want I wanted to do!

Now, before I tell you about my card, I have to tell you what I was thinking about the entire time I was making it! I kept giggling and thinking of the beginining of New Moon when Bella dreams about her Gran. I love when she says:

"Well Gran, you might have noticed that my boyfriend glitters. It's just something he does in the sun. Don't worry about it..."

That's where my inspiration comes from today! I wanted to represent Edward as the "vampire", sparkly skin & all!!

I started by stamping this UBER adorable Vampire Cuppie from Trick or Sweet from Taylored Expressions (clearly not just a Halloween set, especially for us vampire obsessed stampers!), in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers. I then cut him out with Classic Circle Nestabilities, and using my Copic Mutlitliner, doodled a pattern around the edge of the circle.

I used this DARLING sentiment from Trick or Sweet II, also from Taylored Expressions, which reads "My Superman - sweet and strong!" and then, again with my trusty Copic Multiner, I added "(and sparkly)" to the sentiment!! (grin!)

The patterned paper is the retired Rockabilly from SU!, which I seem to gravitate towards when making Twilight cards...it must be the colors. I think I shall refer to this paper as my Twilight paper from here on out...now, I just have to find some MORE of it :D

I finished off my card with some ribbon from my stash as well as some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles, which I totally ADORE! Oh, and of course, my Edward Cuppie got a coat of Candle Light Shimmerz, so that he really does sparkle!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!! Only 6 days to go!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Trick or Sweet and Trick or Sweet II by Taylored Expressions
Paper: Basic Black, Choice Snow White, Riding Hood Red & Rockabilly DSP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

Do You Like Scary Stories?

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday again! Can you BELIEVE that there are only 8 days until New Moon rises? I cannot even wait! My friend Dina and I are SO ready to go see it! We are planning on seeing it twice in the same day, which is what we did for Twilight.

I am continuing on with my Countdown to New Moon, and here is another Twilight Series inspired card!! I hope all of my Non-Twihard blogging friends aren't sick of seeing all my Twilight Inspired posts!!!

For my card, I used one of my friend Karen's sketches. She has the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge on her blog each week, and I sorted through my sketch book and chose to do her SSSC35 as it had a circle element, which is what I wanted.

I used two of the limited edition digis that were available last weekend only at The Greeting Farm, "Camille" and "Joseph"...or, Bella and Jacob! I printed them out onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored them with my Copic Markers. I had to make a card for all those Team Jacob fans out there!! (I am ALL about Team Edward!)

My quote today comes from Twilight when Bella and Jacob are walking along first beach. Bella knows that something is up with the Cullens, and shamelessly flirts with Jacob to get the deets. Jacob asks Bella:

"Do you like scary stories?"

I LOVE how these digi Bella and Jacob look like they are strolling down the beach...these images just really make me happy!!

I cut them out with Classic Circle Nestabilities, and the patterned paper is "The Boyfriend" by Cosmo Cricket. I added piercing to some of the panels and tried to keep the layout pretty clean and simple. The cardstock is from Prism, which is my latest obsession (I think the switch over from SU! to Prism is going to be pretty painless after all!), and I used Island Mist Dark and Spring Willow Dark!

Make sure to check out Karen's sketches....they are totally awesome! She sells FABU personalized watermarks too!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Stamps: Limited Edition Camille & Joseph Digis from The Greeting Farm
Paper: Island Mist Dark, Spring Willow Dark, Choice Snow White and The Boyfriend by Cosmo Cricket
Ink: None

Bella's Makeover!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!!

Here is my card for today's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC254!! I love this sketch...different and alot of fun to work with!!

For my card, I started by stamping this UBER adorable Cuppie (Bella on her wedding day!! LOL!!), from the brand new Sweet Indulgence set from Taylored Expressions in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and I colored her with Copic Markers. I did add eyelashes with my Copic Multiliner, as there is NO way Alice would let Bella get married without a perfectly made up face!!

Bella's Wedding Day makeover by Alice is the inspiration for my card today! Doesn't my Bella Cuppie look SUPER scared! I think that one of my favorite parts of Breaking Dawn (which is actually my favorite book in the series) is when Bella gets over her fear and wants to run down the aisle to marry Edward. My word, who WOULDN'T run to him! (giggle!)

This quote always cracks me up...gotta love Alice!

"I've only allotted so much time to make you stunning Bella - you might have taken better care of my raw material"

ALL the cardstock, patterned paper (Whirlybird by My Minds Eye...LOVE it!) and embellishments on my card (except for the brad) are from the brand new Spa Key Ingredients! I LOVE this KI (I know, I know...I say that about each of them, but seriously, I rarely reach for anything but them!!), the colors are SOOOOOO delish!!

I added some Diamond Stickles to the lights on the vanity mirror and all the panels were sewn with my sewing machine.

You can get this set and the Spa Key Ingredients right now at Taylored Expressions! There is also an AMAZING Sweet Spa Bundle available that includes a chenille gel neck wrap! I could use one of those right now!!! How indulgent!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Sweet Indulgence by Taylored Expressions
Paper: Intense Pink, Baby Blue Medium, Choice Buttercream & Whirlybird, all from the Spa Key Ingredients
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copic Markers, Sewing Machine, Diamond Stickles, Brad, Flowers from the Spa Key Ingredients, 1 1/4 Circle Punch and Foam Tape

The Most Beautiful Thing

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!

Here is my card for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC47!! I know I always say this, but I totally love her sketches!!

For my card today, I decided to pay homage to our favorite snotty vampire, Rosalie!!! I printed out this limited edition digi, Joyce from The Greeting Farm, onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers. She received a coat of Candle Light Shimmerz on all her exposed vampire skin.

I also printed out my quote,

"I was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen"

which is from Eclipse. I love how we learned more about Rosalie and how she was changed in this book. I am not sure about any of you, but I really have a new appreciation for her character after Eclipse, and I totally LOVE her in Breaking Dawn!!

All the patterned paper on my card is the retired Bella Rose (how appropos) from SU!, and I added tons of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles to my card, as well as lots of paper piercing. I also used a beautiful crystal butterfly brad that I have had in my stash forever!! We will pretend that it's made of real diamonds for our Rosalie, I doubt she would accept anything less!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!! Only 9 days to go!!!

Recipe:
Stamps: "Joyce" Limited Edition Digi from The Greeting Farm

Penguin Ornaments!!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!! Today's challenge over at the There She Goes Blog is Fun With Chipboard, TSG28! As soon as I saw the challenge, I knew I wanted to make a few Christmas ornaments using the newly released Penguin Love!!

Now, I know you are all wondering how in the world I am going to come up with a Twilight Series reference today, as I already used my Penguins...Lovely post...well, this is probably a stretch, but the entire time I was making these, all I could think about is when Bella, Jacob & Nessie went to Charlie's house and he had the house decorated for Christmas.

Bella hadn't even thought of the holidays (what with the impending doom and gloom of the Volturi to worry about), and I LOVE Charlie tells Nessie,

"Don't worry Nessie...I got you covered if your mom drops the ball"

Seriously, could Charlie be any sweeter! I love his character throughout the entire series!

Anywho, back to my ornaments :)

These were SUPER simple to make. I started by stamping my little scenes onto Choice Snow White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them all with Copic Markers.

On each one, I added Dazzling Diamonds with my Two Way Glue Pen.

I cut each scene out with Classic Circle Nestabilities, and then matted them all with another Basic Black Circle. At this point, I added my wide gingham ribbon loops, and adhered them to the back of the black panel. Once they were on, I used Foam Tape to adhere the panel to it's corresponding colored Scallop Circle.

I then used some linen thread and gathered the ribbon. I knotted it and the knots are covered up with the glittery chipboard snowflakes/star!

The chipboard was just plain old chipboard shapes that I first colored with Copic Markers, and I then added Dazzling Diamonds to each after I pushed them into a Glue Pad to get them nice and sticky!

I adhered the chipboard with super sticky tape, and then added the buttons on top!!!

I totally love how these turned out! If you do too (grin!), then make sure you head over to the There She Goes Blog! These will be part of next week's WIR (Week In Review) and all you have to do for a chance to win them (or your choice of the featured Trendsetters projects from the week) is leave a comment!!

Go pull out your chipboard and create any type of project and link it to today's post!!! One lucky winner will receive a $5.00 gift certificate to the There She Goes Store!!
