Rock Star!

Hi everyone!!! Happy Wednesday!

I have been itching to make one of these FABULOUS Guitar Gift Card Holders since the last Taylored Expressions release, and I finally sat down and made one!!!

I started with the Guitar Gift Card Template from Taylored Expressions and printed it out onto cardstock (I used some old Sahara Sand as I wanted a light color for the template). This template is SOOOOOO easy to use...this gift card holder came together in minutes!!!

I started by first tracing the flame pattern from the template onto one of the metal sheets that come with the Rockstar Key Ingredients, also from Taylored Expressions. They are also sold separately from the Key Ingredients right HERE. I used a Copic Multiliner to trace it and it worked perfectly! These metal sheets are a really nice thickness, which makes them super easy to work with.

Once I had the flames cut out, I ran them with the Harlequin Pattern Texturz Plate from Sizzix as I wanted a diamond-plate look. I LOVE how it came out!!! I traced and cut the body of the guitar onto the reddish-pink Couture Cardstock from the Rockstar Key Ingredients, keeping two parts on the top of the body connected. Once I cut it out, I gave the entire front a coat of Hottie Pink Shimmerz Bling and it is SO super sparkly in real life!!

The stem (is that what it's called?) was traced and cut out from Black Couture Cardstock and I created the lines with a White Gel Pen. I punched out circles from the rest of the metal sheet for all the accents (just like Taylor did on her AMAZING gift card holder here!) I added TONS of Black Diamond Stickles all around the edge of the body of the guitar to finish it off. I totally LOVE this and I am not sure I will be able to part with this!!!

Of course I wanted to make a matching card to go along with my gift card holder!!! I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge from yesterday, MTSC67 for my layout.

I started by stamping this rockin' guitar from You're My Hero, which is back in stock at Taylored Expressions, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored the entire guitar with Copic Markers. It is really hard to tell, but the flames got a coat of Clear Spica Glitter Pen, but it looks muddy in the photo.

I cut along the edges of the guitar stem (??) and then slipped a Rectangle Nestie under the stem and cut out my image. I sponged the edges with Memento Angel Pink and Memento Rose Bud. I have had a few people ask about how I sponge, and I use a regular round yellow sponge that I picked up in Michaels. I cut it into quarters so I have tons of sponges handed for any colors I want to use. I added some piercing to one side of the panel to balance it out.

ALL the cardstock, patterned paper, funky ribbon and star die cut are from the Rockstar Key Ingredients. The silver brads are from my stash. I ran the Black Couture Cardstock panel through the Cuttlebug again with the Harlequin Sizzix Texture Plate so it matches my guitar gift card holder!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

Easter Egg-stravaganza!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!!

A few weeks ago, my Aunt asked me to make Easter cards for her to give to all six of her Grandchildren...and of course, I wait until the week of Easter to even start them :)

I made two (2) each of the three cards you see here today. Four cards for girls and two cards for boys. ALL of the images I used are SUPER cute digis from Pink Cat Studio!!! I also used the same layout and design on each card.

For the first card, I used the super sweet Easter Lily and she is printed onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored with Copic Markers.

All of the cards use Basic Grey Kioshi as the patterned paper, and they all also have a border that I created with the Apron Lace Punch.

For the second card, I used the darling Lily and Chicks Paint an Egg and I think she is so cute!!! I think I may use her for Meredith's Easter card as well!!

Like the other cards, the entire image was colored with Copic Markers, and I gave the egg, the inside of her ears and her tail (that you can't see because of my big gorgeous bow!) some shimmer with Dazzling Diamonds.

All three of the cards have hints of Dazzling Diamonds so they all look like they "go" together!

All of the cards also have a panel that was embossed with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and they each have a brad in each corner.

Each of the cards also has a bow...all of which were made with the Bow Easy!!
I have a SERIOUS obsession with the Bow Easy! I ordered it, along with some DELISH ribbon, from Sharon's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store...and talk about FAST shipping!!! I placed my order on Thursday evening and had my order on Monday morning! I really cannot say enough about Sharon and her gorgeous products!!!
For my last card, which is for the boys, I used the super sweet Easter Bunny with Balloons! This one was also colored with Copic Markers, and all of the images were sponged with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo for a bit of pop. The inside of each card has a simple "happy Easter" sentiment.

I hope my Aunt likes this suite of cards that I created! I had a blast coloring all of these darling Pink Cat Studio images!!!
Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

Hey There Sweet Pea!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Monday!!

Here is my card for today's challenge at the There She Goes Blog, TSG48, It's A List!!! The challenge is to create a card using everything, but no more, than what is on the list!! Are you up for the challenge? Here is the list:

Three Different Colors
Two Different Designer Papers
One Button
One Ribbon
NO other embellishments!!

For my card, I started by stamping these GORGEOUS flowers from the brand new set, Sweet Pea, from There She Goes, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar Crest White and colored them with Copic Markers. I cut out the image with Classic Oval Nestabilities and sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo.

For my three colors, I used Chocolate Chip, Pink Piroutte & White. The two different patterns of Designer Paper are from Bella Rose DSP from SU! (which I LOVE with these flowers). I used one button and one ribbon (Pink Pirouette Striped Grosgrain) and I REALLY wanted to add some brads to the corners but I fought the urge!!!

The sentiment, "Hey there sweet pea" was cut out using the medium tag from Tags Trio by Spellbinders, and that too was sponged with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo. The bow was created using the Bow Easy (which I clearly cannot stop using!!!).

Thanks SO much for stopping by! Head on over to the TSG Blog and play along! One lucky participant will win a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the TSG Store!!!

3 Cheers For Your Birthday!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Sunday!!

I had some "me" time this morning and I thought I would make a card using Jen's SFYTT from yesterday!!

My niece's birthday is coming up in April and she LOVES to cheer (she is only going to be 4 but she is a natural!), so I knew I wanted to use the Turtle Tots Cheerleader from Stamping Bella!!

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bellas Bestest Paper and colored her with Copic Markers. I stamped the sentiment, which comes with Turtle Tots Cheerleader, in two pieces and created two tabs to come off my focal panel.

The patterned paper is a mix of patterns from Ducks In A Row by October Afternoon, and each panel was sewn on my sewing machine. I added a simple white grosgrain ribbon and a delightful little bow created with my beloved Bow Easy that I got from Sharon's Store! I finished this one off with two white brads in opposite corners!!!

This week's Bellarific Friday challenge on Bloggabella is "Getting Hitched!" or an anniversary or shower card, make sure you get your card to Emily by Thursday evening to be entered into the contest for Bella Bucks!!

Thanks SO much for looking!!

Bring Your Own Sunshine!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!! Today is my last day as a Sugar Baby for The Sweet Stop Sketch Team! I had a WONDERFUL time these past six months, and I will be sure to continue to play along with these fabulous sketches! Thank you SO much for having me on the team Korin!!

Here is my card for today's sketch, SSS49! I LOVE this sketch and had a blast making this card!

I used the absolutely GORGEOUS new set from Verve, Feel The Sun...LOOOOOVE this set!! I started my stamping the quote in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and then cut it out with Rectangle Nestabilities. I sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo to make it pop. I stamped the three flowers, also in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, and then colored them all with Copic Markers. I just started coloring with these colors and that determined the color scheme of my card.

I used NO patterned paper on my card...which for me is quite a feat!! I did add some texture to my Black and Intense Orange panels by embossing them with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. The border is Upper Crust by Fiskars and I added Black Pearls along the border and to the visible corners of my focal panel. I finished this one off with a ribbon knot of Black Gingham.

Groovy Bellarific Friday!!

Hi everyone! Happy Bellarific Friday!!!

Today's challenge is a sketch challenge, my favorite kind of challenge!!! I had a blast with this sketch, and I can't wait to head on over to Bloggabella to see all of the cards submitted for this week's challenge!!!

For my card, I used the SUPER sassy Beatrice Bellbottoms from Stamping Bella! I totally {heart} her! I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Cream Paper and colored her with Copic Markers (she was SO fun to color!!!).

The patterned paper is a mix of patterns from Report Card by October Afternoon, and the sentiment, "groovy" is actually the "feeling groovy" sentiment, also from Stamping Bella and I just inked up part of it!

I cut the sentiment out with the largest tag in the Tags Trio by Spellbinders, and I created the bow with the AWESOME bow easy (I think I will have a bow on every card for a while...it's SO easy to use!!), with Baja Breeze Striped Ribbon. I added a button on for good measure as well!!

Each of the layers was sewn on my sewing machine and I finished this one off with two red brads in each corner!

Make sure to head on over to Bloggabella and leave a comment on today's Bellarific Friday post! One lucky commenter will win some Bella Bucks! Woot!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

There She Goes Sneak Peek Day #3!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday!! Today is the last day of sneak peeks of the AMAZING new release from There She Goes!!!

Today, the Trendsetters get to show you peeks of a STUNNING new set, Poppies!!! You are going to L-O-V-E this set!!!

Did you make your way here from my pal Jessie's Blog? If so, perfect! If not, please head on over to the There She Goes Blog to start this hop from the beginning!! You won't want to miss a single stop!

For my card, I started with yesterday's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC273, as it was PERFECT for what I had in mind!!

I stamped the cluster of poppies in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored the entire image with Copic Markers. I then cut out the image, and layered it, with Classic Circle Nestabilities.

Once again, I used NO patterned paper on my card (crazy...I know!!), but I did jazz up my background by running my Black panel through the Cuttlebug with the D'Vine Swirls Embossing Folder, and then, with a Black Spica Glitter Pen, I traced all of the raised design! I was so happy that it actually photographed, as I just love the look of it!!!

The sentiment, "Many wishes for a beautiful day" is also from Poppies, and I stamped it directly on a Classic Red Panel. The ribbon is from SU! and I created the bow with my new Bow Easy (holy cannoli...I LOVE the Bow Easy!!).
I finished my card off with TONS of bling around my circle focal panel and the sentiment panel, and added a Black butterfly that I punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

The next stop on this Spring Fever hop is at the amazing Kim's Blog!!
Would you like a chance to win Poppies for your very own? Getting that chance is super easy! Simply follow the entire hop and leave a comment on each of the Trendsetter's Poppies posts! Today, the Trendsetters get to share peeks of TWO fab new mini sets that will be released, Sweet Pea & Chem 101!!! I had SO much fun playing with both of these!!

For my first card, I used the utterly gorgeous Sweet Pea Mini Set!! These flowers just make me smile!! I started by stamping the flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and I cut them out with Labels 9 Nestabilities.
I sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe and colored the flowers with Copic Markers. I added touches of shimmer with a Clear Spica Glitter Pen to parts of the flowers.
I added tons of pearls to the focal panel, as well as on either side of my sentiment, "Thank You", which I punched out with my Word Window Punch.

I wanted this keep this one super simple and (I hope!) elegant as well! I did not use ANY patterned paper on this card, but rather kept the color scheme simple of a combo of White and Frosted Cobalt. I ran one of the Frosted Cobalt panels through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and the ribbon is a GORGEOUS May Arts Stripe from Sharon's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!

For my second card, I used the darling mini set, Chem 101! This set is the PERFECT add on to the ever popular Chemistry set, OR it's perfect on it's own!!!
I stamped the beakers from Chemistry in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers. I added some Liquid Applique to the overflowing beaker, along with some Dazzling Diamonds, and it's super fun in real life!!

All the different patterns of paper are from Green At Heart by Basic Grey, and I pulled the colors of the beakers right from the paper!
I stamped the sentiment from Chem 101, "Oxidents Happen" (OMG...I cannot stop giggling! LOVE this sentiment!!) directly onto my focal panel and cut and layered it with Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities.

The next stop on this Spring Fever hop is at the amazing Lisa's Blog!!!

For my card, I used this SUPER sweet basket of eggs from the newly released Favorite Peeps set by Taylored Expressions!!

I stamped the basket onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored the entire image with Copic Markers. The sentiment, "Spring Has Sprung", also from Favorite Peeps, was cut out using one of the Tags Trio by Spellbinders!!

ALL the cardstock, patterned paper (which is the delish Kioshi by Basic Grey!), button and ribbon are from the Easter Key Ingredients, also available from Taylored Expressions!!

There She Goes Sneak Peeks Begin!!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Welcome to the first day of sneak peeks for the AWESOME new release from There She Goes!!

Did you make your way here from my pal Jessie's Blog? If so, perfect! If not, please head on over to the There She Goes Blog to start this hop from the beginning!! You won't want to miss a single stop!

Today the Trendsetters are sharing peeks of a FAB new set called Spring Fever! I had so much fun making my card!!

I started with Karen's Sketch from this past Sunday, SSSC61 for my layout. I stamped the bench from this new set in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and cut out the image with Circle Nestabilities. Using my Cloud Template by CC Designs, I created a cloud background with Cool Caribbean ink. I then stamped two squirrels in Memento Potters Clay, and the heart in Memento Lady Bug, and then cut them out. I popped all three up onto the bench with Foam Tape and added some greenery to the bottom with Memento Bamboo Leaves.

The patterned paper is Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye and I ran my Choice Buttercream panel through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. I stamped the sentiment directly onto my Choice Buttercream panel (before embossing it!!), and I think it is SO sweet! It reads "Love is what makes two people sit in the middle of a bench when there is plenty of room at both ends"! Isn't that so sweet??

The next stop on this Spring Fever hop is at the amazing Lisa's Blog!!!

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers (I was certified yesterday...Woot!!).

The patterned paper on my card is a mix of patterns from, you guessed it, Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye!

I stamped the sentiment, "Life Is How You Bake It", also from Stamping Bella, in Memento Tuxedo Black directly onto the patterned paper.

I kept this super simple with just a chocolate twill ribbon, and my Turtle Tot was cut out with Oval Nestabilities and sponged with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo.

Monochromatic Bellarific Friday!

Hi everyone! Happy Bellarific Friday!!

Today's Bellarific Theme is Monochromatic! Too fun! I chose to go with yellow...this new Garden Variety paper from Cosmo Cricket was calling my name!!!

I started by stamping the super cute Gracie Lollipop from Stamping Bella in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Cream Paper and colored her with Copic Markers.

I paper pieced her dress and hair bow with the same patterned paper I used on my card, Garden Variety by Cosmo Cricket.

I used Summer Sunrise Cardstock from PTI, which is such an awesome match with this patterned paper!!

I wanted to use a bit of a different layout, so I added a circle of a different pattern of Garden Variety to mix it up a bit.

I added two SU! Flower Brads to my Gracie panel and finished this off with some Vanilla Twill Ribbon!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Make sure to head on over to Bloggabella and leave a comment on today's Bellarific Friday post! One lucky commenter will win some Bella Bucks!!

I cut the image out with Classic Circle Nestabilities and colored the image with Copic Markers. I added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles in yellow to the pot of gold!!

The sentiment, "Happy St. Patrick's Day" is from A Year of Sweet Sentiments, also from Taylored Expressions, and the patterned paper on my three horizontal panels is from Bloom & Grow by My Minds Eye!! A few more Twinkles (Crystal) about the shorter panels and I called this one done!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by and may the luck of the Irish be with you!!

Thank you for being so sweet!!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!

Here is my card for yesterday's challenge on the There She Goes Blog, TSG46, which is an AMAZING sketch designed by one of our newest Trendsetters, the uber talented Danielle Lounds!!!

I had a BLAST with this sketch! For my focal image, I stamped the cake plate and the three layer cake from the brand new Make A Wish set from There She Goes in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copic Markers (I am going to take a Copic Certification Class this weekend...can't wait!!).

All the colors were pulled from the yummy patterned paper that I used, Green at Heart by Basic Grey! I ran the pink patterned paper through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for a bit of texture. I stamped the sentiment, "Thank you for being so sweet", also from Make A Wish, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Intense Kiwi Cardstock.

I finished this one off with some White Satin Ribbon and three White Brads by American Crafts in two opposite corners!!

Head on over to the TSG Blog and make a card using this sketch! One lucky participant will win a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the There She Goes Store!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

The March Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions are here!!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Monday!!

I am SO excited to be able to share the AMAZING March Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions with you today!!

If you have ever been to my blog (or my stamp room...grin!!), you know it's no secret that the Key Ingredients are just about my FAVORITE product in the stamping world! This months kit is certainly no exception!!

Aren't the colors and papers in this kit just DELICIOUS??? This months patterned paper is Crate Paper Brook and it is just scrumptious!! All of the members of the Bakers Dozen playing along today have a common theme with their creations...TEXTURE!!!

For my card, I opted to use an embossing folder for my texture. I used the Cuttlebug Folder, Distressed Stripes, as I just LOVE how it looks like wood...which goes perfectly with the stamps I used today, one of my FAVORITE Taylored Expressions sets ever, Branching Out!!

I did something on this card that I have NEVER done before...I stamped and colored my image on the Kraft paper included in the March Key Ingredients! I can't believe I have never done this before...I LOOOOOOVE the look of it!! I started by stamping the branch, bird & birdhouse from Branching Out in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored the image with Copic Markers, pulling my color scheme from this delicious patterned paper!

Do you see that GORGEOUS butterfly? An assortment of butterfly embellishments, as well as Maya Road leaf trinket pins are also included in this FABULOUS new Key Ingredients!!

On my second project, I started with a Tall Gable Box, just one of the MANY favor boxes available from Taylored Expressions. I started by creating a small panel for the front of my box using the cardstock from the March Key Ingredients. I then, using Scalloped Circle Nestabilities, cut out four scalloped circles from Crate Paper Brook, distressed and sponged the edges and added a button from my stash in the center. I have been itching to make one of these flowers for a while, and I thought it would be perfect to show off some texture!!!

I added some piercing around the edge and the sentiment, "Just Because" is also from Branching Out by Taylored Expressions and it was cut out using one of the tags in the Tags Trio by Spellbinders!! I added another butterfly to the top of the box (I just LOVE them!!) and added some delish ribbon, also from the March Key Ingredients, top the handle of the box!!

I personally LOVE the Key Ingredients for some many different reasons! First and foremost, the cardstock, patterned paper and embellishments are always SO gorgeous and perfectly coordinated! The KI really makes my cards come together SO easily! Another aspect of the KI that I LOVE is that it is SUCH an amazing value!! You get SO much for the price, and it all comes in a delighful storage container that you can use for SO many purposes!! You can get ALL the deets, PLUS a delighful inspiration gallery for each KI, right HERE on the Key Ingredients Blog!!

Good Luck!!

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!!

We just (about 5 minutes ago!) got our phone/tv/internet back! We had one heck of a storm here on Long Island yesterday and it knocked out the power for a while, and the phone/tv/internet ALL day long! I was stressing for a bit...I have TONS of blog posts to set up!!!

Today, Stamping Bella is the sponsor over at Card Positioning Systems, and the sketch is CPS158!! I must be living under a rock because I had not visited the CPS site before (I know! Crazy!). I have already added it to my reader so I can play along with all their sketches!!!

For my card, I used the darling goodluckabella from Stamping Bella for my card (LOVE her!!) and I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Cream Paper. She is colored with Copic Markers and all the shamrocks got a bit of sparkle with a Clear Spica Glitter Pen.

The sentiment, "good luck", also from Stamping Bella, was stamped and then cut out with one of the Tags Trio by Spellbinders, and I used some yummy fudge twill ribbon to attach it to the card.

The patterned paper is Origins by Basic Grey, and I finished this one off with lots of layers (I {heart} lots of layers) and some SU! Brads.

Head on over to Card Positioning Systems to play along with the sketch!

This week's Bellarific Friday theme is MONOCHROMATIC! So create a monochromatic card and submit it to Emily by Thursday evening to be entered for a chance to win some Bella Bucks! With a DARLING new release, those Bella Bucks would sure come in handy :)

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

My Monkey Man!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card for today's Sketch Challenge at The Sweet Stop, SSS47!! What a fun sketch!!

I made this card for a friend at work who celebrated her birthday yesterday. I originally asked her if she was an Edward fan or a Jacob fan (she LOVES Twilight just like me!!), and she hesitantly said Edward. I then asked if there was someone that she liked MORE than Edward or Jacob (I know...I just felt the universe shift too), and she finally told me that she is an Emmett fan!!

For my card, I used the limited edition digi that was available a few months ago from The Greeting Farm, and I "think" his name is Jeremy (aka Emmett!). I printed him onto Choice Buttercream and colored him with Copic Markers.

The sentiment, "My Monkey Man" (all of you Twilighters get that!) is from Fictionally Inspired from Artful Inkables. It feels SO good to make a Twilight card...It's been AGES since I pulled out my box of Twilight stamps (yes...I have an entire box full!!).

The papers are a mix of patterns from Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye and I used my new Upper Crust punch by Fiskars for the border. I finished this one off with two Vanilla Brads!!

Spring Has Sprung!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!! It sure feels like Spring has Sprung here in New York! It was SO beautiful out today...if only I wasn't stuck at work all day!!

Here is my card for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC64!! This was such a fun sketch to work with!!

For my card, I used my new favorite Taylored Expressions set, Favorite Peeps!! Have you seen the total and utter cuteness of this set? I LOVE it! I stamped the main image (the birdie on the branch) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and I then I stamped the eggs and drew little hangers so they are hanging from the branch!

I colored the entire image with Copic Markers and cut out the image with Square Nestabilities. I sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe and Memento Tangelo. ALL the cardstock, patterned paper and the button are from the Easter Key Ingredients, and the bling is from the Spring Sampler, both of which are available now at Taylored Expressions! The patterned paper in this KI is Kioshi by Basic Grey...yum!!

I stamped the sentiment, "Spring Has Sprung", also from Favorite Peeps, and cut it out with Tags Trio Nestabilities. I sponged the tag as well and attached it, along with the button, using Foam Tape. The border is the Apron Lace punch by Fiskars that I doubled up with the white and pink cardstock!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

Dance like no one is watching...

Hi everyone!! Happy Monday!!

Here is my card for today's challenge at the There She Goes Blog, TSG45, Yellow Spring Flowers!!

Today was just GORGEOUS here in New York...I even got that "Spring is coming" feeling! LOVE that!! This challenge was perfect for my sunny mood!!

For my card, I used the brand new Dance by There She Goes. I LOVE this set! It is SO gorgeous and it is only $7.00! The best part of this set is that $4.00 from the each set will be donated to the Amyloidosis Support Group in loving memory of Jessica's friend Linda Winner.

I used all Basic Grey Origins papers on my card today, and I have to say, I had SO much fun making this!! Often I look at flower sets and automatically think to color the flowers with Copic Markers, but today, I decided to simply stamp the flowers onto the patterned paper, cut them out and sponge the edges for interest. I love how versatile it makes this set!!

I started by stamping the gorgeous quote onto Choice Buttercream in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut it out with Oval Nestabilities. I sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo. I stamped the flowers, as I mentioned above, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Basic Grey Origins, cut them out and sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe.

I added Vintage Brads to the center of each flower, and I added a little pop with some leaves punched with a Martha Stewart punch. These were sponged a bit as well with Memento Bamboo Leaves.

I framed my main panel with Scallop Nestabilities and kept my layout SUPER simple to focus on the gorgeous flowers! I added a double bow and some more Vintage Brads and called it done!!

You can check out the challenge right HERE on the TSG Blog!! Play along and you will have a chance at a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the TSG Store!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Here is my card for today's Sketch Challenge at The Sweet Stop, SSS46! What a fun sketch!!

For my card, I used the brand new Hunny Bunnies from There She Goes, which I totally LOVE!!

I stamped the bunny, and then the egg which fits PERFECTLY into bunny's hands, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored the image with Copic Markers. I added some Crystal Transparent Glitter to the end with a Quickie Glue Pen.

All the papers are from my newest obsession...yep, you guessed it, Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye! The sentiment was attached with a lavender button and my focal image is nested on Blossom Nestabilities.
