Groovy Bellarific Friday!

Hi everyone!! Happy Bellarific Friday!!!

Today's Bellarific Challenge was to ink up a Stamping Bella stamp that you have never used! SO totally fun!!

For my card, I finally inked up the utterly groovy hippiechickabella from Stamping Bella. I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Cream Paper and colored her with Copic Markers.

I cut her out with Oval Nestabilities and sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe. I layered her onto a Suede Dark Brown panel that I cut and embossed with Rectangle Nestabilities.

The patterned paper is Garden Variety by Cosmo Cricket, and the sentiment, "Feeling Groovy" is from Stamping Bella. I attached the sentiment with a Basic Grey Button that I tied on with Vanilla Twine.

Make sure to head on over to Bloggabella today and leave a comment on today's Bellarific Friday post! One lucky commenter will win Bella Bucks!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Shabby Birthday!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday! I have had SUCH a hectic week at work...I thought today was Wednesday because the week is going so fast!! LOL!! It feels SO good to get into my stamp room and create a bit!

Here is my card for yesterday's (which I thought was today's) Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC278! A fab sketch as usual!!

I went a little different with my card tonight...a bit of shabby chic, which is a look I don't often attempt. The shabby vintage feel of my card started with this delish Thrift Shop paper from October Afternoon. I ADORE all the patterns in this collection!

I cut two inch squares of four different patterns and then sponged the edges to give them even more vintage-y goodness. I then layered them with Choice Buttercream Cardstock to make them pop.

I stamped this beautiful frame, which is from Creativi-Tea by Taylored Expressions, three times onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black. I them cut out the middle square, sponged the edges and colored all the leaves and flowers with Copic Markers. I then colored the large flower with Copic Markers, cut it out and popped all three layers up with Foam Tape. It's quite dimensional in real life.

I kept the embellies simple on this one, simply putting pearls in each corner, under the "Happy Birthday" sentiment which is also from Creativi-Tea, and I then added a ribbon of Cream Poly-Twill, which I layered between my focal image and the Labels 1 Nestabilities I cut out of Blush Red Light Prism Cardstock. I added a bow of the same ribbon with my beloved Bow Easy! I cannot get enough of this Bow Easy...I think I use it on just about every card!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by! I hope to have some blog-hopping time this weekend! We are celebrating Meredith's 4th Birthday (where does the time go?) on Saturday, so I hope to have a bit of "me" time on Saturday night!!

Stamps: Creativi-Tea by Taylored Expressions
Paper: Blush Red Light, Classic Red, Choice Buttercream & Thrift Shop by October Afternoon

Summer Girls!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday!!

Here is a card I made using Mercy's AWESOME Tuesday Sketch Challenge from yesterday, MTSC71! Sketch challenges are my favorite and Mercy's never disappoint!!

For my card today, I used these UBER cute Turtle Tots Summer Girls from Stamping Bella! I stamped them onto Bella's Bestest Cream Paper and colored them with Copic Markers.

I added some Smooch Illuminate to the ice cream scoops, ice pop and the flowers in their hair. It really adds some nice shimmer in real life!

The patterned paper is the SUPER delish Fly A Kite by October Afternoon. I LOVE this paper...sigh...I think I am obsessed with another paper collection!!

I cut out the image with Rectangle Nestabilities and sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe. I framed the image with Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities. I added a simple aqua bow that I created with the Bow Easy and called it done!!

This week's Bellarific Friday challenge is to use a stamp that hasn't seen any ink yet (or in a while if you have inked up all your Bellarific rubbah!!! Send your creation to Emily by Thursday evening! One lucky participant will win Bella Bucks!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Missing You...

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!

Here is a card I made using Jen's Sketch For You To Try, SFYTT, from this past Saturday! What a fun sketch!!

For my card, I started by stamping this table image from Let's Do Coffee by Taylored Expressions in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers.

I LOVE this image!! All the images in this set make me happy! I am going to send this to my sweet pal Karen (pretend you didn't see this post Saucy!!). We met up this past weekend while I was in Maine and had a BLAST. She has a pic of us on her blog...I look HUGE...oh yeah, I am prego...yep...prego!!

All the paper on my card is from the luscious new Thrift Shop by October Afternoon. I LOVE all of the patterns in this collection, as well as Fly A Kite, which I haven't cut into just yet!!

The sentiment, "Missing You" is also from Let's Do Coffee, and I just created a little tag for it. I cut out the flower with a Cuttlebug Die using one of the Thrift Shop patterns and I added a button in the center. Easy peasy!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Stamps: Let's Do Coffee by Taylored Expressions
Paper: Island Mist Dark, Choice Buttercream & Thrift Shop by October Afternoon

Love Muffin!

Hi everyone!! Happy Monday!!

Here is my card for today's challenge on the There She Goes Blog, TSG52, which is an AWESOME sketch by the awesome Mercy!!!

I couldn't wait to play a bit more with the fab new Daily Grind set by There She Goes!! On my card, I stamped the delightful "love muffin" in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and colored it with Copic Markers.

I cut it out and embossed it with Square Nestabilities, and I sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe before removing the paper from the die. I framed it with Suede Dark Brown using Square Nestabilities. I added two chocolate-y pearls to the bottom of the panel.

All the patterned paper is the delish new Thrift Shop by October Afternoon, and I sewed each layer on my sewing machine. A simple bow, created with the Bow Easy, finishes this one off!!

Head on over to the TSG Blog and play along!! One lucky participent will win a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the There She Goes Store! Sweet stuff with a fab new release begging to come home to you right?

You're So Sweet!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card using the Taylored Expression Sketch Challenge from yesterday, TESC110!!!

I LOVE this layout and had SO much fun making this card!!!

I started by cutting out 1 1/4 Squares of the YUMMY Material Girl Collection by Cosmo Cricket. I used alll different patterns from the collection and I LOVE each one of them!!!

I stamped this SUPER cute sewing Cuppie from one of my favorite Cuppie sets, Crafty Cuppie by Taylored Expressions, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored the entire image with Copic Markers.

I ALWAYS, as a rule, color Cuppie pink, but I went out of my comfort zone on this one and made it a Chocolate Cuppie (YUM!!). The sentiment, "You're So Sweet" is also from Crafty Cuppie, and I cut it out and embossed it with the largest of the Tags Trio by Spellbinders.

I opted to NOT use and ribbon or other embellies on this and just wanted the patterns of the paper to speak for themselves.

Thanks SO much for stopping by! Enjoy your Saturday!

Stamps: Crafty Cuppie by Taylored Expressions

Paper: Classic Orange, Island Mist Medium, Choice Buttercream & Material Girl by Cosmo Cricket

Bellarific Friday!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Bellarific Friday!!

Today's Bellarific Friday is ALL about Mother's Day! I had yet to ink up this DARLING Coco Has A Cuppycake, and I thought she would be perfect for today's Bellarific Friday!!

Meredith and I LOVE to make cupcakes, so I thought this would be a cute card for her to give my mom, her Grandma (who she calls Grandma the Great...LOL!), for Mother's Day!!

I started with this super fun sketch from Card Positioning Systems, CPS163, and I stamped Coco Has a Cuppycake by Stamping Bella in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Paper and colored her with Copic Markers.

All the patterned paper is from Report Card by October Afternoon. I am scraping the bottom of the barrell with this paper, I really must re-order soon before I have withdrawal!

I added a big red grosgrain bow that I created with the Bow Easy and three red brads on the bottom.

Make sure to head on over to Bloggabella and leave some love on today's Bellarific Friday post! One lucky commenter will win Bella Bucks! I am sure there are TONS of stamps you must have from this past Stamping Bella release!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Center of Attention Product Spotlight - Thickers!

** PLEASE SCROLL DOWN JUST A SMIDGE FOR MY THERE SHE GOES POST TODAY **

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday!! Welcome to the Center of Attention Product Spotlight on an AWESOME product...Thickers!!! I used the super fun Bumble Pink Thickers!

I have to admit, I had OH so much fun making this card! Thickers are oodles of fun and they brought me back to my childhood when I had a sticker book!!!

For my card, I started with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC70, and I pulled out one of my favorite Taylored Expressions sets, You're My Hero!!! No coloring AT ALL on this card...shocker right?

I started by stamping this rocker girl from You're My Hero in Versamark and I then embossed the image with Black Embossing Powder. I stamped the star, also from You're My Hero, in Memento Rose Bud and Memento Pear Tart, behind the rocker girl.

The patterned paper, Teen Angst from We R Memory Keepers and the cardstock are from the Rockstar Key Ingredients, also from Taylored Expressions. The Black Glimmer Ribbon is from Taylored Expressions too!!

My cousin is turning 40 this weekend, and I thought she would love a card that just screams, "40 Rocks!" Thickers make is SO easy to create any word or sentiment you want...the possibilities are ENDLESS!! I LOVE how sparkly and poofy they are too!! They are self-adhesive so they are SUPER easy to use, and if you put one on a little crooked (like I did!), you can VERY easily move them and put them where you want them.

I am SO not a scrapbooker, but I can totally see myself creating a fun page using Thickers!!! I have to keep them out of Meredith's sight...she will want to use them all for sure!!

Check out what some of the other girls have done with these FAB Thickers right here!!

Did you make your way here from my pal Jessie's Blog? If so, perfect! If not, head on over to the amazing Chris' Blog to start the hop from the beginning!!

Today, the Trendsetters get to share peeks of a GORGEOUS new set designed by the super talented Chris Dark, What's Up Buttercup? This set is FABULOUS!! GORGEOUS images and delightful sentiments!!

For my card, I started with this past Saturday's sketch at The Sweet Stop, SSS52. I did omit one of the panels as I thought it looked too busy with the patterns I chose to use! I started by stamping this gorgeous Buttercup twice in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White and colored them with Copic Markers. I then cut out the bloom and popped it up on Foam Tape. A bit of Spica Clear Glitter Pen in the center makes it pop in real life!!

The patterned paper is a mix of two patterns from Cherry Hill and Ducks In A Row, both my October Afternoon, and I added a yummy White Satin Bow (I used the Bow Easy to create it!) and some White Brads by American Crafts (anyone know where I can find more of these???). I cut out the sentiment, "What's up Buttercup?" with one of the Tags Trio by Spellbinders, and I airbrushed the sentiment tag, as well as around the flower, with my Copic Airbrush System and BG13 Mint Green Copic Marker

The next stop on this Buttercup Hop is at the awesome Kim's Blog!!

New Crafter's Workshop @ Taylored Expressions!!

**PLEASE SCROLL DOWN JUST A SMIDGE FOR MY THERE SHE GOES SNEAK PEEK!!**

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday to you!!!

Taylored Expressions is hosting a blog hop today to showcase the new Crafter's Workshop Templates now available! I am sure you will get TONS of ideas and inspiration from my fellow Baker's Dozen members!!!

I had the pleasure of working with the Cherry Blossoms Template! What fun! There are SO many ways you can use these stencils (sponging, Maya Mist etc...), but I chose to use mine to create a gorgeous background with my Copic Airbrush System!

I started with a piece of Frosted Pink Cardstock and I simply placed the Cherry Blossoms Template over my cardstock and airbrushed the design right onto my card! I used R21, Sardonyx, as my airbrush color, and it gives SUCH a soft background!!

I also airbrushed another piece of Frosted Pink Cardstock using the Cherry Blossoms Template and then stamped the large butterfly from Discover Your Wings right over the pattern. I then cut out the butterfly and viola! A perfectly decorated butterfly!!

I am LOVING the look that I achieved with this Template and I can't wait to stock up on some more! It's such a fun, different way to get a gorgeous background (as opposed to patterned paper or dry embossing).

The layout is the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge from this past Friday, TESC109, and all the stamps are from Discover Your Wings by Taylored Expressions. I added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles to each butterfly (which were all cut out and popped up on foam tape on top of layered Circle Nestabilities) as well as on the Upper Crust Border. I LOVE the sentiment on the bottom, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart." Isn't that gorgeous??? All of the butterflies, and the airbrushed background, received a light spritz of Bubblegum Maya Mist.

Check out what the rest of the gals did with these awesome templates right here!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday! Welcome to the first day of sneak peeks for the latest and greatest There She Goes Release!!! The Trendsetters will be sharing peeks of THREE amazing new sets during the next few days, and I am UBER excited about all of them!!

Did you make your way here by way of my pal Jessie's Blog? If so, great! If not, please start the hop at the wonderful Danielle's Blog so you don't miss a thing!!!

Today, the Trendsetters are sharing peeks of a set that is RIGHT up my alley, Daily Grind!!! LOOOOOOVE it!!!

This set has SO many stamps (35 in all!!!), and each one is ADORABLE!!!

I started by stamping the cafe scene in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White and colored it with Copic Markers. I added the word "Cafe" to the sign, as well as the coffee cup sign on the roof (LOOOOVE that!!!).

I added Glossy Accents to the windows in the Cafe as well as the coffee cup sign to make them pop a bit!!

The sentiment makes me smile, "Good Friends + Strong Coffee + Sweet Treats = Happiness". How sweet and how true is that!!

I used some Quite Contrary paper by My Minds Eye and sewed each layer with my trusty sewing machine. I opted to not use any ribbon, as I think it's pretty balanced just the way it is!!!

The next stop on this caffinated hop is the UBER talented (and one of the newest Dirty Girls...can I get a WOOT!!) Lisa!!!

Would you LOVE a chance to win Daily Grind all for yourself? Of course you would and luckily, it's pretty easy to get that chance!! Wild Thing!!

You make my heart sing!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Monday!! Here is a card I made using Jen's Sketch For You To Try, SFYTT, from this past Saturday. I mostly kept to the sketch...I just put the button in a different spot.

For my card, I used the utterly darling King of the Wild Things by Stamping Bella! I just LOVE him!! I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Paper and colored him with Copic Markers.

The papers are a mix of Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye...gosh, I have gotten a TON of use out of this paper. Usually I buy oodles of paper and then hardly use any of it! Between this paper and all the October Afternoon paper I have been using, I am really making a dent in my paper collection (which is a GOOD thing!!!).

I finished this one off with a Basic Grey Button and I tied a bow with some caramel twine. Easy peasy!!!

Did you get a chance to check out the latest release at Stamping Bella? O.M.G. You MUST go see if you haven't...the stamps are DELISH! Mo Manning in rubber...need I say more?

This week's Bellarific Friday challenge is all about Mother's Day! Make sure to get your creation to Emily by Thursday evening to be entered for a chance to win some Bella Bucks!!

Bellarific Friday & Stamping Bella Release Day!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Bellarific Friday! Are you SO excited for release day at Stamping Bella? I know I am!!! I am ALL ready to hit that order button!!!

For my card today, I have another sneakie peekie for you...let me introduce Tilly the Teacup Girl to you! Can you even STAND her? I ADORE her (and totally wish I had such voluminous hair!!!).

Once again, I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC69, for my layout (Can you tell I love this sketch?). Tilly was colored with Copic Markers and I cut her out with Oval Nestabilities and sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe. I added some bling to the center of each flower in her hair.

The patterned paper is from Report Card by October Afternoon (can you tell I am re-obsessed with this paper?). I am waiting to receive Fly A Kite and Thrift Shop, so I am sure they will be my newest obsessions when they arrive!!!

I embossed the Frosted Teal panel with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and added two red brads from my stash. I created a bow with my Bow Easy using some yummy stitched red ribbon, also from my stash. All the layers are popped up on foam tape. I think this one (like all my Teacup Girl cards) is going to Meredith. I can't wait for her to see it!!

Head on over to Bloggabella and leave some love on today's Bellarific Friday post!! One lucky commenter will win some Bella Bucks...handy dandy with a HUGE (and FAB) new release right?

You Get An A+!

Hi everyone!!! Happy Wednesday!!

Here is a card I made using Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge from yesterday, MTSC69!! I LOVE this layout and will be using it again for sure!! Gotta love Mercy's sketches!!!

For my card, I used twp of the UBER adorable new releases from Taylored Expressions, Make the Grade and Extra Credit! These sets are SO fun...I haven't even put them on my shelf, they just sit on my desk to be used over and over!!!

I started by stamping this sweet schoolhouse from Make The Grade in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and colored it with Copic Markers. I cut it out with Oval Nestabilities and sponged the edges.

My "A+" is also from Make The Grade, and I stamped the apple from Extra Credit in Green Galore behind it. I cut this out with Circle Nestabilities, sponged the edges and then layered it on Scallop Circle Nestabilities.

This is kind of a strange color combo for me, but I like how it came out! The patterned paper is from Report Card by October Afternoon, and the cardstock is Prism Classic Blue & Intense Kiwi. I finished off the card with three Green Galore Brads, and somehow refrained from putting a bow on this!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Stamping Bella Sneak Peek Anyone?

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday! I am SOOOOOO excited to share a sneak peek of a brand new Bella being released on Friday by Stamping Bella! Emily has a HUGE release in store for all of you, and you are going to L-O-V-E every bit of it!!!

Today, I get to share this AMAZING new Bella with you, Execubella!! Do you not ADORE her? I totally do!!! She may just be my favorite Bella yet!!!

I started by stamping her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Paper and colored her with Copic Markers. I took a paper towel that had a bit of a design and with my Colorless Blender, I wet the paper towel and pressed it to the rug in the image. It has a really spotty, "rug-like" look! LOVE that trick!!!

I think that Execubella looks totally stylin' in her office, and I wanted a retro feel to the colors. I used two different patterns of Farm Fresh by October Afternoon to pull it all together! The sentiment, "I know you've been busy" was cut out and embossed with one of the Tags Trio by Spellbinders, and Execubella was cut out and embossed with Square Nestabilities. Both panels were sponged with Memento Canteloupe. I attached the sentiment panel with a turquoise button with a chocolate hemp bow!

This week's Bellarific Friday is a free for all! Send your bestest Bella work to Emily by Thursday evening to be entered in Bellarific Friday and have a chance to win Bella Bucks!! With an AH-mazing new release, that would come in pretty handy don't ya think?

This week's Bellarific Friday also coincides with Scrapfest, and Emily will have a Stamping Bella booth there with all the delish new rubber!!! Lindabella and Paulabella will be there too! I WISH I could go!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Punch Buggy Red!

Hi everyone!! Happy Monday!!

Here is my card for today's challenge at the There She Goes Blog, TSG50!! Today's challenge is either paper or ribbon pleating!! How fun! This is the first time I have pleated, but it won't be the last!!!

For my layout, I used Jen's Sketch For You To Try from Saturday, SFYTT, and it was perfect for what I had in mind!!

While I am stamping, I have a tv on in my stamp room. I don't necessarily watch it, but it is always background noise. Lately, I have seen the same Volkswagon commercial over and over, and that is what inspired my card! Punch buggy red!!!

I used this DARLING car (which totally reminds me of a VW Bug!) from ROFL Taglines by There She Goes and I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar Crest and colored it with Copic Markers. I added a coat of Glossy Accents to the windshield and headlights. Too cute!!

I created my own sentiment, "red one", using A-Z and 123, also from There She Goes, and I cut it out, along with the focal image, with Circle Nestabilities and sponged the edges. I punched a hole in the sentiment panel and threaded it with Hemp Twine.

I used some yummy Fudge Polytwill ribbon and I pleated it, which was easy peasy! All the patterned paper is from Farm Fresh by October Afternoon (which, if you saw my last post, was still sitting on my desk!). I attached the sentiment tag through one of the pleats.

Head on over to the TSG Blog and create a card with paper or ribbon pleating!!! One lucky participent will win a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the There She Goes Store! Cool right?

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

What's Brewin'?

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!

Here is a card I made for the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC108!!!

I couldn't wait to use some more brand new rubbery goodness from Taylored Expressions, so I pulled out (OK...that's a lie...I had it on my desk already because I LURVE it!!) Let's Do Coffee, one of the newly released sets!

I stamped the row of coffee cups from this new set in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored the cups with Copic Markers. I then gave them each a coat of Glossy Accents...it's super shiny in real life!! I cut out the image with Rectangle Nestabilities and sponged the edges.

This sketch is SUPER fun with all the different boxes, so I pulled out some Farm Fresh paper from October Afternoon. This is one of those paper collections that I just adore and don't seem to get sick of. I chose four different patterns, cut and layered them with Chocolate Chip, and then sewed each layer on my sewing machine.

I kept the embellishments super simple due to all the patterns on this one, and I simply added a Real Red Grosgrain bow created with the Bow Easy (which is see is currently out of stock, but just click to be notified when it is back in stock!!!). I LOOOOOVE the Bow Easy...I can't imagine NOT putting a bow on a card now!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

Sketchy Bellarific Friday!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Bellarific Friday!!

Today's Bellarific Friday is an AWESOME sketch, my favorite type of challenge!!!

For my card, I used the SUPER sweet Gratty'tude from Stamping Bella! I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Paper and colored her with Copic Markers.

The patterned paper is a mix of (and now, this will be quite a shock if you come here often) Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye!!!

I added a border with my Apron Lace Punch to the horizontal panel, and I added a ribbon and bow of So Saffron Grosgrain, and the bow, of course, was created with the Bow Easy!!!

I finished this one off with three white brads in the bottom corner, and Gratty'tude was cut out with Square Nestabilities, which I totally screwed up (note to self...cut out BEFORE coloring!!), so I trimmed the edges and layered it on top of another square cut out with Nestabilities. An easy fix but I sure gave myself an attack when I screwed up the embossing!!!

Make sure to head on over to Bloggabella and check out all of the submissions for today's Bellarific Friday Challenge! One lucky commenter will win Bella Bucks...Woot!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

It's Release Day @ Taylored Expressions!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday! Today is release day at Taylored Expressions and I am SO excited!!!

The Baker's Dozen get to share peeks of yet ANOTHER amazing set (this one may be my favorite of the entire release!!!), Let's Do Coffee!!! Oh my word...I LOVE this set!!!

I created two different cards using this fab set, and I even decorated the inside of both, something that I rarely do!!!

For my first card, I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC68 for my layout!!!

I stamped the bag of beans (how CUTE is that!!) from Let's Do Coffee in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and I cut out the image with Circle Nestabilities.

I sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo and colored the entire image with Copic Markers.

I added some Coffee Bean Sparkly Fluff to the pile of coffee beans surrounding the bag, and I have to say, I just LOVE how it looks!!!

The patterned paper is the DELISH Material Girl by Cosmo Cricket and Baja Breeze SU! Ribbon is quite a lovely match! I used my Bow Easy to create the bow!!

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment, "What's brewin'?" in Memento Tuxedo Black and then the darling to-go cup in Baja Breeze ink for a bit of interest. Some more Material Girl paper adorns the inside!!

For my second card, I wanted to a bit of a different look! I started with this week's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC275 for my layout, and I went with a Kraft, Island Mist Medium & Choice Buttercream color combo and I will surely be using this combo again! LOVE them together!!

Once again, I used some Material Girl by Cosmo Cricket patterned paper...I am loving this paper lately!

I stamped the sentiment, "A cup of coffee shared with a friend is happiness tasted and time well spent", of course, from Let's Do Coffee, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Kraft Cardstock and cut it out with Rectangle Nestabilities.

I sponged the edges with Memento Desert Sand and then stamped one of the coffee cups first in Whisper White Craft and then again in Memento Desert Sand.

I added a bow (once again, created with the Bow Easy) of Cream Twill (I LOVE this ribbon!) with a button from my stash. Tiny coffee colored pearls were added to the corners of each panel.

For the inside of my card, I added a strip of one of the Material Girl designs that I used on the front of my card. It is SUPER hard to see, but I stamped a row of coffee mugs (which are SO darling!!) in Memento Desert Sand along the width of the card. In real life, it's totally adorable (if I don't say so myself!!!)

I know you are probably chomping at the bit to check out the gorgeousness from my fellow Bakers! You can find their creations right here!!

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Continue!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!!!

Welcome to the 2nd day of sneak peeks for the amazing new Taylored Expressions release!!! I have a loooooooong post today, so I hope you will settle in and join me for a bit!!

Today, the Baker's Dozen are sharing peeks of not one, not two, but THREE new sets (well...a bit more than that actually!!!). I am SO excited for the sets being peeked today! Let's get right to it!!

The sets being peeked today are Make The Grade, a coordinating mini set called Extra Credit (how cute is that!!) and THREE new a la carte stamps featuring my favorite...Cuppie! There is Report Card Cuppie, Desk Cuppie, and the one I get to share with you, Chalkboard Cuppie! These are all sold separately...how COOL is that???

ALL of the cardstock, patterned paper, bling and ribbons on all of my cards (and card box!) are from one of the three AMAZING Card Kits being released tomorrow!! I used the Apple Jack Card Kit and let me tell you, it is a MUST have!!! Each card kit is $14.95 each and includes 10 Choice Cardstock A2 card bases, 10 A2 envelopes, 15 sheets of patterned paper sized for cardmaking at 4" x 6" (3 sheets each of 5 double-sided patterns), 20 sheets of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cardstock (4 sheets each of 5 colors), 1 package of Kaisercraft Pearls, 8 panels of Choice Cardstock sized 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (for images and layering), 5 yards of ribbon (2.5 yards each of 2 different styles) and 1 Perfect Package Card Box!!!!

For my first card, and also for the front of my Perfect Package Card Box, I used the SUPER darling Chalkboard Cuppie. I stamped the scene in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored the entire image with Copic Markers. I cut the image out with Rectangle Nestabilities and sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo. The sentiment, "You're Appreciated" is from the awesome Extra Credit set, and I cut it out with one of the Ribbon Tags Trio by Spellbinders. I sponged this as well and I colored the pearls (they are teal) with a Green Copic Marker so it would go with the paper I used! SO fun!!! The only difference between this card and the front of the card box is that I added a super sweet apple from Extra Credit to the card box!!

For my second card, I stamped the image of the school house (how CUTE is that!!) from Make The Grade in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream & colored it with Copics. The sentiment, "You're An Awesome Teacher" is from Extra Credit and is cut out with Circle Nestabilities. Like the first card, these were both sponged as well.

For my last card, I stamped this ADORABLE globe image (I LOOOVE this image!!) from Make The Grade. I LOVE the sentiment that fits perfectly around the image, "for opening up the world to me"! LOVE that! I also stamped "Thanks", also from Make the Grade, directly onto the patterned paper.

I LOVE the bling and ribbons that come in this Card Kit...and there is SOOOO much! I made three each of each design and I still have TONS of cardstock, patterned paper, bling and ribbon left over! Score!!

Make sure to head on over to the rest of the Baker's Dozen Blogs and check out what they did with these AMAZING new sets!!

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Begin!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday! Welcome to day #1 of sneak peeks for an AWESOME new release from Taylored Expressions!!!!

You are going to L-O-V-E this new release!!!

There are FOUR, yes...4 new sets, one mini sets, a la carte stamps and THREE new Card Kits!!! The next few days are going to be so much fun!!

Today, the Baker's Dozen get to peek not one, but two amazing new sets!!! On my first project, my card, I used both of these new sets!! Creativi-Tea and Miniature Motifs!!!

I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC63 for my layout (what a fun sketch!!!), and I started by stamping the AMAZING frame (it is a PERFECT fit for Labels 9 Nestabilities!!!!) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and cut it out with Labels 9 Nestabilities. I sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo. I then stamped this darling little teapot from Creativi-Tea in Memento Tuxedo Black in the center of my frame. The flower and leaves image was stamped, colored with Copic Markers, glittered, cut out and then attached to the side of the frame. I LOVE the look of that!!

The sentiment, "Oh my darjeeling" is also from Creativi-Tea, and it just totally cracks me up!! I cut that out with Circle Nestabilities and sponged that as well. The striped paper is from the Green at Heart collection by Basic Grey, and, now this is the really fun part, I took some Always Artichoke cardstock and stamped this FABULOUS background pattern from Miniature Motifs in Whisper White Craft. I stamped a separate panel as well and then stamped the same teapot, cut it out and paper pieced the teapot with Miniature Motifs! FUN!!!

I have been LONGING for a fabulous background set, and if you are like me, then you need to look no further than Miniature Motifs! There are four GORGEOUS different backgrounds in this set! Can't wait for you to see them all!! I finished off my card with some pearls and delish vanilla ruffled ribbon!!

I just HAD to make a little gift to go along with my card!!! I decided to decorate this darling Tea Tin, which will also be available from Taylored Expressions to match my card!!!

I started by stamping this BEAUTIFUL frame in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored the entire image with Copic Markers. I added some glitter to the flowers on this one too...love how it looks!!!

Once again, I stamped the sentiment, "Oh my Darjeeling" (I seriously LOVE this sentiment!!) right in the frame and added some pearls underneath the sentiment to make it stand out a bit! I cut out the entire image and adhered it to the top of the tea tin with Foam Tape.

To decorate the bottom portion of my tin, I used the same pattern of Green At Heart by Basic Grey (these stripes just scream tea party to me!!) and added some layers of Always Artichoke and a border of Upper Crust in Choice Buttercream.

I attached the entire band with some Sticky Tape and added some more Vanilla Ruffled Ribbon. I created a bow of the same ribbon which I attached along with a Basic Grey Button along with another sentiment, this time "creativi-TEA", which I cut out using the medium tag from Tags Trio by Spellbinders! I thought this would be a sweet gift for a crafty friend and I could fill it up with some ribbons and embellies...you know, to inspire some Creativi-TEA!!!

Check out what the rest of the Baker's Dozen have to share with you today using these AMAZING new sets!!

Enjoy Life...

one cupcake at a time!!!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday! What better way to start the week than with cupcakes!!!

Here is my card for today's challenge on the There She Goes Blog, TSG49! Today's challenge is a color challenge of Lemon Yellow, Grass Green & Aqua! LOOOOOOVE these colors together!!!

For my card, I started with last week's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC274, and I used the UBER fab Make A Wish set from There She Goes!!! I stamped three of the cupcakes, as well as the sentiment, "Enjoy life one cupcake at a time", both from Make A Wish, in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and I colored the cupcakes with Copic Markers.

I used Certainly Celery, Cool Carribean & Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye for my card!! I ran the Certainly Celery and Cool Carribean panels through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for a bit of texture and to pick up the polka dots in the Quite Contrary paper.

I added four white brads to my Certainly Celery panel, one in each corner, and I created a yummy So Saffron Bow with the Bow Easy! LOVE this tool!!!

Head on over to the There She Goes Blog and play along with us in this super delish color challenge! One lucky participant will win a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the There She Goes Store...will it be you?

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Got Tunes?

Hi everyone!! Happy Sunday and Happy Easter!! Weird that I don't have an Easter card to share today huh? LOL!!!

I have wanted this Bella for SO long, and I finally ordered Ipodabella by Stamping Bella! Isn't she SOOOOOO super cute? LOVE her!!!

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bella's Bestest Paper and colored her with Copic Markers. I cut her out with Classic Oval Nestabilities and sponged the edges lightly with Memento Canteloupe.

The patterned paper is a GORGEOUS (I think!) pattern from Sugar Rush by Basic Grey. I have NEVER been a purple girl but lately, I find myself reaching for it more and more...interesting right?

I kept the layout super simple as I really wanted to focus on Ipodabella as well as the paper. I used Almost Amethyst, Basic Grey and White as a color combo, and I ran my Almost Amethyst pattern though the Cuttlebug with the Birds and Swirls Embossing Folder.

The ribbon is Basic Grey Taffeta by SU! and I created the bow with the Bow Easy. I added a lavender brad to each corner and called her done!!!

This week's Bellarific Friday is an AWESOME sketch! Head on over to Bloggabella for the deets and make sure to submit your card to Emily by Thursday evening!!! Good luck!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Jelly Beans!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!! I guess it's no surprise that I still need another Easter card the day before Easter...I never seem to have enough cards on hand...weird right?

For my card today, I used Taylor's AWESOME Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge from Friday, TESC107! I had SO much fun with this sketch!!!

I pulled out one of my all time favorite Easter/Sring sets, Sweet Spring by Taylored Expressions!!! I stamped this jelly bean lovin' Cuppie in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored the entire image with Copic Markers. I cut the image out with Classic Oval Nestabilites and sponged the edges with Memento Canteloupe & Memento Tangelo.

ALL the cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon, buttons & AWESOME flowers are from the Easter Key Ingredients, also from Taylored Expressions! I LOOOOOOVE how the flowers from this KI work so well with the sketch...makes me happy!!!

I ran the lavender cardstock through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and added some paper piercing to the Basic Grey Kioshi panel. The bow was made with, what else, the Bow Easy, and I added some highlights to Cuppie with a White Gel Pen!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Flower Girl!

Hi everyone!! Happy Bellarific Friday!!

Today's Bellarific Challenge was "Getting Hitched" and we were to create a wedding, shower, anniversary themed card! So fun!!

I realized something when I went to make my card...I have NO wedding themed stamp! How can this be? You can be sure I plan on rectifying this situation when I place my next Stamping Bella order!!

I decided to make a flower girl card!! I know that when I got married, I gave my flower girl (and ring bearer) a little gift, so I thought this would work for today's theme (at least I hope it does!!!).

For my card, I started with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, SSSC62! What a FUN sketch!!!

I stamped Eloise Greengrass in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Bellas Bestest Paper and colored her with Copic Markers. I cut her out with Rectangle Nestabilities and sewed all the edges, along with the rest of my panels, with my sewing machine.

The paper is a mix of Quite Contrary by My Minds Eye (still can't get enough of this paper!!) and the border was created with the Apron Lace Punch. Once again, I created bows with the Bow Easy (LOVE this tool!!!).

Thanks SO much for stopping by! Make sure you head on over to Bloggabella and leave some love for today's post! One lucky commenter will win Bella Bucks!!!
