OK...who has my mojo?????

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!! I seem to have lost my mojo (perhaps I threw it out with all the Christmas wrapping paper????), so I thought I would do Julee's Mojo Monday Sketch and try to get my game back!!!

So, I used some super duper new stuff for this card!!! My Verve stamps that I got for Christmas (Thanks Mom & Dad!!!) and my Copics that I got for Christmas (Thanks Mom & Dad...again!!!!). I stamped the background from Snow Wonderful in Baja Breeze onto Baja Breeze CS. I then stamped the cupcake from A Cupcake Affair and colored it in with my Copics. I then coated the *icing* part of the cupcake with Pink Pointsettia Shimmerz!! I added some white brads and called it done!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Beate Inspired!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!!!

Here is my card for today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS, IC152. I was inspired by this gorgeous Don Li-Leger artwork. I used Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge, WSC64, for the layout.

I LOVE the colors and color blocking in the inspiration picture, so that is where I started. I used Bravo Burgundy, Creamy Caramel & Baja Breeze, and I stamped different flowers on each panel from Pocket Silhouettes in the coordinating colors. I then stamped the flowers again in Versamark and embossed them with white embossing powder.

The sentiment is from Best Yet (LOVE this Hostess Set!!!)

I added scallops with the Scallop Edge Punch, and of course, I had to pierce...I guess it's my *thing*!! LOL!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Ink: Bravo Burgundy, Baja Breeze, Creamy Caramel & Versamark

Paper Pretties!! Paper Pretties!! I {{heart}} Paper Pretties!!!

Hi everyone!!!

Here is my card for today's Technique Lover's Challenge, TLC174, on SCS, which was to use re-inkers to watercolor your image! This is my favorite method of coloring (once I put those Prismas down...they are addicting too!!), so I had a blast with this challenge!! I used Julee Tilmann's MoJo Monday sketch, mojo43, as the layout. I have always seen such gorgeous cards made with her sketches, so I decided to try one myself!!

This darling image is called Cuddle Me, and it is from Paper Pretties!! I finally ordered this stamp (along with some others *grin*) because I was sick and tired of drooling all over Jessie's creations! I *HAD* to have these stamps!! Imagine my excitement when they came today! I couldn't wait to play!! She is colored with my SU inks & my Aquapainter. The brads on the bottom were a gift from my pal Jessie...thanks Jess!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

The color scheme was pulled from the Blush DP by Basic Grey. I used my Swiss Dots on the Ruby Red layer, and used my 1/2 circle punch with Cool Caribbean to anchor my Pumpkin Pie Brads.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Where is my MoJo?????

LOL!! I have not had a whole lot of stamping time these days, what with our new little kitten, Gus Gus (thanks Cinderella!!), my DD's 2nd Birthday...so much craziness going on!!
Being it is just about Mother's Day, I decided to treat myself with some "Me Time", and made this card for Holly's (Toy's) Sketch Challenge on her Blog, Toy's Haven.
I just love this sketch! I am still REALLY into my Primsmacolor Pencils, so I just had to make a card that required some coloring. I LOVE this mermaid from Lizzie Anne Designs! In fact, I love all their stamps!! What clean crip images...they are a delight to stamp with!!
I added some Diamond Stickles to certain parts of the mermaid, as well as on the black brads to give them a little pop!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
