Beate Inspired!
Here is my card for today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS, IC152. I was inspired by this gorgeous Don Li-Leger artwork. I used Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge, WSC64, for the layout.
I LOVE the colors and color blocking in the inspiration picture, so that is where I started. I used Bravo Burgundy, Creamy Caramel & Baja Breeze, and I stamped different flowers on each panel from Pocket Silhouettes in the coordinating colors. I then stamped the flowers again in Versamark and embossed them with white embossing powder.
The sentiment is from Best Yet (LOVE this Hostess Set!!!)
I added scallops with the Scallop Edge Punch, and of course, I had to pierce...I guess it's my *thing*!! LOL!!
Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Where is my MoJo?????
LOL!! I have not had a whole lot of stamping time these days, what with our new little kitten, Gus Gus (thanks Cinderella!!), my DD's 2nd Birthday...so much craziness going on!!
Being it is just about Mother's Day, I decided to treat myself with some "Me Time", and made this card for Holly's (Toy's) Sketch Challenge on her Blog, Toy's Haven.
I just love this sketch! I am still REALLY into my Primsmacolor Pencils, so I just had to make a card that required some coloring. I LOVE this mermaid from Lizzie Anne Designs! In fact, I love all their stamps!! What clean crip images...they are a delight to stamp with!!
I added some Diamond Stickles to certain parts of the mermaid, as well as on the black brads to give them a little pop!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
