Merry Christmas (on Halloween??? LOL!)

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday and Happy Halloween! I promise...I will have a Halloween card later today...but for now, Merry Christmas! LOL!!

Here is my card for today's sketch over at The Sweet Stop, SSS28!!

For my card, I used the DARLING Wings Of Joy set from Taylored Expressions! I stamped this image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers.

I also stamped the sentiment, "Merry Christmas", onto the same panel.

All the cardstock, patterned paper, snowflake chipboard, Red Sparkly Fluff (on my chipboard snowflake) and ribbon are from the Christmas Key Ingredients, and the button is from the Rhonna Christmas Buttons! The brads are from my stash, and they are from American Crafts.

Once again, I sewed each of the panels on my card...I really have to be separated from my sewing machine! LOL!!

You can see what the Sugar Babies have created with this sketch right here!!

There She Goes Sneak Peek - Penguin Love!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! Welcome to the last day of There She Goes Sneak Peeks!! Today is my FAVORITE day because we get to peek my personal favorite set from this AMAZING release, Penguin Love!!!

Did you make your way here from Jessie's Blog? If so, perfect! If not, please head over to Dawn's Blog to start the hop from the beginning!!

I have two cards to share with you today using this DARLING new set!!

For my first card, I started with some yummy Jolly by Golly paper from Cosmo Cricket as my inspiration. I stamped the penguin, igloo, hole in the ice and fish/fishing pole (I masked penguin/igloo) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercrea, and colored them all with my Copic Markers. I then added some Crystal Transparant Glitter using my Two Way Glue Pen to the ice on the top of the igloo and the ground that the penguin is standing on. I used my Copic Multiliner to add my horizon line on either side of the igloo!

I paper pierced each of the layers and my sentiment, "Home, There's Snow Place Like It", was stamped and puched out with Circle Punches and then layered under another panel.

I finished this off with a ribbon knot of Very Vanilla Ribbon and some Doodlebug Sugar Coated Brads. These were a light blue so I just colored them with a teal Copic Marker to match my card!!

For my second card, I started with some yummy Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper and pulled my colored from that!!
I masked my penguin and iceberg as well as the mountain range, and they are all stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I colored them all with Copic Markers and then added Gloss Accents to the iceberg, Moonlight Smooch to the mountains and Diamond Stickles to the ice caps (way to go using LOTS of products Jodi!...LOL!!)

ALL of my layers were sewn with my sewing machine, and I used Prism cardstock for this card in Spring Willow Medium, Rose Medium & Frosted Teal.

The sentiment, "Oh, For the Love of Penguins" was stamped and then punched/layered with my Large Oval and Scallop Oval Punches. I finished this off with two White Brads that I colored with Copic Markers and a double ribbon of Raspberry Twill and Whisper White Organdy!

Here is a list of the hoppers today in case you get lost along the way!!

There She Goes Sneak Peek! Two New Mini Sets!!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday! Welcome to day #2 of sneak peeks for the newest There She Goes release!!!

Did you make your way here from Jessie's Blog? If so, perfect! If not, please head over to Dawn's Blog to start the hop from the beginning!!

Today the Trendsetters get to show you peeks of two fabulous new mini sets being released, Stick Together and Home Sweet Home Hanukkah Additions!! Some of the Trendsetters are peeking Stick Together, some Home Sweet Home Hanukkah Additions, and some of us get to show you a peek of both, like Moi!

For my first card, I used the darling new Stick Together set! This card was SUPER easy to make! I began by stamping different snowflakes in Whisper White Craft ink onto Night Of Navy Cardstock. I added a crystal in the center of each snowflake for a bit of sparkle!

The sentiment, "Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but look at what they can do when they stick together", was stamped onto Choice Snow White cardstock in Night of Navy ink and then cut and embossed with one of the Tags from Tag Trio Nesties.

I added some piercing and some Whisper White Organdy Ribbon and called it done! Easy peasy!!

For my second peek, I got to play with the Home Sweet Home Hanukkah Additions! I LOVE this set and I love that I now have a stamp set that I can use to send Hanukkah cards to my Jewish friends!!

I started with a Night of Navy, Brocade Blue and White Combo, and stamped the end table from Home Sweet Home Holiday Additions and the Menorah from Home Sweet Home Hanukkah Additions in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I colored both of these images with Copic Markers and added some gold accents with a gold paint pen.

I framed my image with Oval Nestabilities and added some piercing. My Brocade Blue layer has the Star of David stamped in Brocade Blue in a repeating pattern. I love the softness to the bankground.

I finished off my card with Vintage Brads, Whisper White Organdy Ribbon and the beautiful sentiment, "May the warmth and glow of each candle you light, make your heart and home happy and Hanukkah bright" directly onto my Brocade Blue panel!

Here is a list of all the hoppers today in case you get lost along the way!!

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! Welcome to the official first day of sneak peeks for the newest There She Goes release! Woo Hoo!!!

Did you come here via Jessie's Blog? If so, perfect! If not, head on over to Dawn's Blog to start the hop from the beginning!!

I have two cards to share with you today using the much anticipated new set, Home Sweet Home Holiday Additions! This is a holiday addition set to the ever popular Home Sweet Home, and this will easily become one of your favorite stamps sets of all time! It is SO versatile and CHOCK full of stamps (it is a set of 42 stamps!!!)

I have a "lots of layers" card to share, as well as a "CAS" card too!!

For my first card, which is clearly my lots of layers card, I started by stamping the fireplace from Home Sweet Home in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I added in the wood floor, molding and beadboard with my Copic Multiliner, and then, the REAL fun began! I accessorized my fireplace with SO many fun holiday additions! I stamped the brick face to the front of the fireplace and then added the presents, stockings, bow, garland, candles...etc...
I also stamped the "wallpaper" with a pinecone stamp and then added some texture with a paper towel and Colorless Blender refill! FUN!! I sewed each layer for a home-y feeling!!

My second card is a Clean and Simple card for sure! I find myself LOVING this look lately! This card was SUPER simple to make!

I started by stamping the wreath in Old Olive ink onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, and using a Rectangle Nestie, I embossed the frame around my image. I then stamped the bow, colored it with Copics, cut it out and popped it up onto foam tape onto my wreath. I added a bit of Diamond Stickles to it as well.

I stamped the sentiment, "Happy Holidays" under the image and finished off the card with some GORGEOUS Burgundy shimmery ribbon!!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Welcome to the There She Goes Blog Hop featuring the UBER popular card bins!!! Did you come here from Jessica's Blog? I sure hope so! If not, please head on over to Dawn's Blog and start the hop from the beginning!!

These card bins are SOOOOOOO awesome! If you are like me and make cards with TONS of layers, you can fit about 40 cards!! Cool beans!!

In my card bin, I have ALL my sneak peeks of the new There She Goes sets that the Trendsetters are peeking this week...I am SUCH a tease putting them all backwards!!

For my bin, I started my actually painting it with some acrylic paint. After the paint dried, I sprayed the entire box with a shimmer mist to make it sparkly!!

I used some yummy Basic Grey Urban Praire paper to decorate my box (LOVE this paper), and I finished it off with a little tab that says "Cards", which I created with the A-Z 123 Set from There She Goes and cut it out with Mega Rectangle Nesties!! This was super easy to line up using my Grid Acrylic Block!

I am SUPER happy with my Card Bin, and it has a place of honor on my stamp desk now!!!

For my card, I used my brand new MissMatch Ketto by Stamping Bella (LOVE her!!) and stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I then colored her with Copic Markers and gave the aqua parts of her dress a coat of Aqua Marine Blingz!!

The patterned paper on my card is Urban Prairie from Basic Grey (my...this paper is SO yummy!), and the sentiment, You Rock, is from the Essential Sentiments set from MFT.

I, once again, sewed each panel on my sewing machine, and finished this card off with ribbon from the retired SU! Jersey Ribbon Originals and a vintage button!!

Make Life A Garden!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday again!!

Here is my card for today's Color Challenge on SCS, CC241, Always Bravo Cameo, and also for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC44!!

For my card, I used one of my FAVORITE There She Goes sets, Nature of Friendship! This set has the most beautiful silhouettes and I LOVE the quotes as well!!

For my card, I chose this GORGEOUS quote for my focal panel:

"To know someone here or there with whom you can feel there is understanding in spote of distances or thoughts expressed - that can make life a garden" - Goethe

I incorporated all four colors into my card today, and I must admit, I LOVE these colors together! I stamped the quote in Always Artichoke Ink onto Cameo Coral Cardstock and then cut it out with Oval Nestabilities. I then sponged Cameo Coral ink around the edges and stamped the leaves in Cameo Coral behind the sentiment.

The Always Artichoke panel has the same leaves stamped in Always Artichoke ink and then this panel was sponged as well. I pierced around the Always Artichoke panel as well as my oval focal panel, and added a double ribbon of Bravo Burgundy Grosgrain and Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon. I then finished this off with four Vanilla brads by American Crafts!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by! Sneak Peeks for the latest There She Goes release (and wowsa...WAIT until you see the new sets!!) start next week!!!

You Want A {Paper} Piece of Me???

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!!!

Here is my card for today's Dirty Dozen/Dirty Dozen Alumi Challenge, "You Want A {paper} Piece Of Me?", hosted my moi! LOL!! I told all the girls that the name of this challenge must be spoken in my NY accent...(giggle!!).

This card is also for the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge, TESC87, from this past Friday!!

The requirements for my challenge were as follows:

The Challenge: Use paper piecing on your card!!Required Element: Fall OR Christmas Colors!!Restricted Element: None...that's how I roll ;)

You can see what the other DD/DDA girls that played along have done with this challenge HERE.

For my card, I used this UBER sweet ballerina Cuppie from Trick or Sweet II from Taylored Expressions! There are few things in life that I adore more than my Cuppies...but a Cuppie as a ballerina? I am IN LOVE!!!

ALL the cardstock, patterned paper and the super fab brad on my card are from the Halloween Key Ingredients, also from Taylored Expressions! The patterned paper in this kit, Eerie by Basic Grey, was also what I used to paper piece my ballerina's ensemble. I colored the rest of Cuppie with Copic Markers!!

To finish off my card, I used my latest obsession yet again...my sewing machine! ALL the layers were sewn, even my focal circle layer...that was hard though!!

Thanks SOOOO much for stopping by!!

Thankful For You!!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card for today's Sketch Challenge on The Sweet Stop, SSS26! Today's sketch is also a Sketch With A Spin, and the theme is "Let's Recycle!" How fun!

For my card, I started by printing this DARLING digi image from Sweet N' Sassy Stamps, Thankful For You! onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and I colored her with Copic Markers.

I then cut out the image with Circle Nestabilities, and framed it with Scallop Circle Nestabilities.

I then cut apart my sentiment, as per the sketch, and sponged all of the Buttercream panels with Close to Cocoa Ink and a Sponge. I did sew on each of the panels, including my circle focal point!!

For my recycled element, I recycled the flowers that are on this card! They had been living on another card that I never completed! I simply sponged them to give them an aged look and added buttons to the centers!!

The color combo is Chocolate Chip, Brocade Blue and Buttercream and the Brocade Blue DSP is from Patterns Pack II from SU!

You can see what the other Sugar Babies have done with this sketch right here:

Center of Attention Product Spotlight - Stencils & Maya Mist!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!!!

Today I get to tell you about TWO super fun products that are now available at Taylored Expressions, Stencils from The Crafter's Workshop and Maya Mist!!

These two products can be used together for some SUPER fabulous results, however, today, I used each of them separately and made a card each using these products!!

For my first card, I focused on the Stencil from The Crafter's Workshop. I used the Stitch Doodle Dot Template, which, for a paper piercing obsessed girl like myself, is a dream come true!!

I stamped the beautiful birdcage image from the newly released Wings of Joy set from Taylored Expressions, and colored it with Copic Markers. The sentiment, which is from the same set, was cut out with Circle Nestabilities, and I highlighted some of the words with Copic Markers.

The layout for my card is one of Taylor's Sketch Challenges, TESC84, and ALL of the cardstock, patterned paper, chipboard snowflake and red sparkly fluff are from the Christmas Key Ingredients. The button is part of the Very Merry Christmas Bundle.

After preparing all of the panels for my card, I used the Stitch Doodle Dot Template to create the scalloped paper pierced border...LOVE that!! I also used the template on the corners of my focal panel! TOOOO much fun!

I really had alot of fun using this template...and the possibilities are simply endless! You could lay the template over your cardstock and spray some Maya Mist on it, you could use a spoge and ink and use it as a true stencil, or even embossing paste!

This particular stencil is ALOT of fun for me as I normally use a regular old piercing mat for all my piercing, and now I can actually pierce a DESIGN! No way! You could even pierce you design and then stitch in it...how fun would that be???

Speaking of Maya Mist, I also have a card today that I used Maya Mist to actually COLOR my cardstock AND ribbon!!!

For my card, I used Plum Metallic Maya Mist, and I knew I wanted to make a non-traditional Christmas card with it!

I started with Choice White Cardstock and using Versamark and Clear Embossing Powder, I stamped and clear embossed the star background on my mail panel, my beautiful wise men scene on another panel and the sentiment panel, which reads "Wise Men Still Seek Him", all of which are from the GORGEOUS new set from Taylored Expressions, Christmas Blessings.

I then sprayed my Plum Metallic Maya Mist over each panel. I did make a few passes with the spray to get the coverage that I wanted. I have used some of these types of sprays before, and I was SO happy that I didn't get gloppy bubbles with the Maya Mist. It comes out in a nice, controlled stream...WAY less mess! I did spray my panels over newspaper, because it was giving my desk accessories a bit of shimmer!!

After I sprayed each panel, I just took a paper towel and blotted them, removing the Maya Mist ink from the clear embossed areas.

The Maya Mist was SO much fun to use, I really couldn't stop...so I decided to see if I could successfully spray my ribbon!! I took a length of Whisper White Organdy Ribbon and placed it on a piece of newspaper. I then sprayed both sides with the Plum Metallic Maya Mist and let it dry for about 10 minutes. I am THRILLED with how it came out! The ribbon is still super soft, and I love that I can spray my ribbon to match my paper now...it opens up a whole new world!

Several other members of the Baker's Dozen have created with these products today as well! You can check their projects out here!

and of course, Taylor VanBruggen!!!

Merry Mass Production with Taylored Expressions!

**PLEASE NOTE...you ARE at my blog...it's true, I made ONE LAYER CARDS (giggle!)**

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Welcome to the Merry Mass Production with Taylored Expressions!!!

I don't know about any of you, but even as a card maker, I never have enough Christmas cards ready for the holidays...and that is the magic of the Merry Mass Production with Taylored Expressions!!

The challenge, should you choose to accept it (grin!), is to make a set of identical, or very similar, Christmas/Holiday cards, and they have to be EASY and QUICK to mass produce!!

Now...this is a FUN challenge, but for a gal like me, I like complicated...I like layers...but I really must admit...I think I may just LOVE the CAS (clean and simple) look as well!!

I made a set of 6 of these cards...and honestly, they were SO easy and SO fast to make!!

I started with a piece of Choice White Cardstock as my card base. I stamped the ADORABLE snowman from Holiday Wonder, which was just released by Taylored Expressions (I LOVE this set!), in the center of each card with Memento Tuxedo Black.

I then, using Rectangle Nestabilities, embossed a frame around each snowman. I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment, which is from Wings of Joy, also just released from Taylored Expressions (I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set too!), in Memento Tuxedo Black under and to the right of my snowman.

I colored all of them with Copic Markers, and then added two Taylor's Tiny Twinkles in green to the top left corner of each embossed rectangle. I finished them off with a bow of black polka dot ribbon and black gingham ribbon. Easy peasy!!

Where oh Where is my Mojo???

Hi everyone! Happy Monday again!! Here is my card for today's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, MOJO108...although it is totally LACKING my Mojo (If you have seen my Mojo, PLEASE send it back to me!!)

For my card, I used three different sets from Verve Stamps! For my focal panel, I stamped the two swans from Swan Song three times each in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, colored them with Copic Markers, cut them out and popped them up on Foam Tape.

(Did you see THIS CARD Jackie Pedro made doing that? Holy Hannah...she is a ROCK star! I totally tried to case her a bit on this!!)

The last layer that I popped up also has two coats of Aqua Marine Shimmerz...SO pretty in real life!!

I then stamped the sentiment, "Wishing You" in Chocolate Chip in onto Choice White Cardstock and then cut it out with an Oval Nestie. I framed that in a Chocolate Chip Scalloped Oval Nestie.

My Cool Caribbean panel was stamped with Cool Caribbean ink using Bountiful Backgrounds...LOVE the look of this!! I ran my Chocolate Chip panel through the Cuttlebug using the D'Vine Swirls Embossing Folder.

I pierced each of the panels and used two White American Crafts Brads and a double ribbon of Chocolate Twill and Whisper White Organdy. I needed a place to put the rest of my sentiment, and as I am making this as a wedding card, I knew I wanted to use "a beautiful forever". I decided to go a little crazy and decorate the inside of my card, and put the rest of my sentiment there! This sentiment, as well as the beginning of it on the front of my card, are from Wishing You from Verve Stamps.

Thanks SO much for stopping by...and again, if you see my Mojo, please tell it to come home...I miss it!

Home Sweet Home!!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday and Happy Columbus Day! I LOVE a day off from work!!

Here is my card for today's challenge on the There She Goes Blog, TSG24, which is a Sketch Challenge by little old me!!! Woo Hoo! I would LOVE it you played along!!!

I created this sketch to accomodate a larger image, like my beloved fireplace from the Home Sweet Home Set (which is back in stock at There She Goes!!!).

For my card, I started by stamping the fireplace in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock, and I then stamped it again onto some yummy Cosmo Cricket Lil' Man paper! I then cut out the patterned paper and created some wall paper for my fireplace. I drew in some white baseboard moulding and colored all the images with Copic Markers.

I used two strips of Mr. Campy dp from Cosmo Cricket for my two other panels (#2 and #3 on the sketch), and of course, added tons of piercing!!

I finished off my card with a double ribbon of So Saffron Poly Twill and a Chocolate Grosgrain. I added two brads by American Crafts, and my sentiment, which is layered on oval punches, is also from Home Sweet Home, but I just inked up the words I wanted to use!!!

Head on over to the There She Goes Blog and play along! One lucky participent will win a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the There She Goes Store...bonus!!

The Magic of Christmas!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!

Here is my card for today's sketch over at The Sweet Stop, SSS25!!!

For my card, I used a newly released set from Taylored Expressions, Holiday Wonder!!

I started by stamping this SUPER cute snowman in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers.

I pierced each of the panels on this card with my trusty paper piercing tool and template (both from SU!), and the patterned paper on my card is the yummy Jolly by Golly from Cosmo Cricket!! All the cardstock is from Prism, and I used Frosted Teal, Intense Teal and Rose Medium on this!

I added two of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles on each side of the sentiment, which I stamped directly onto the patterned paper, and the Rose Medium panel was embossed with the Snowflakes Impressabilites from Spellbinders.

I finished this card off with two ribbon loops of Crushed Curry Polka Dot Ribbon! Another three Twinkles in the top corner and I called this done!!

Check out what the rest of the Sugar Babies have created with this sketch right here!!!

Merry Christmas!

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday!!

Here is my card for yesterday's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC249!! I was SO tired last night that I didn't finish this card until tonight!!

For my card, I used a BRAND new set from Taylored Expressions, Wings of Joy (LOVE this set!) and I stamped the Christmas tree onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored the entire image with Copic Markers.

ALL the cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon and chipboard snowflake are from the newly released Christmas Key Ingredients and the button is part of the Very Merry Christmas Bundle. I colored the Chipboard Snowflake with a Copic Marker...fun! The Christmas Key Ingredients is officially my favorite of all the KI!!

Taylor now has a Christmas Copic Kit that matches the Christmas Key Ingredients and work perfectly with the newly released sets! You can see it right HERE.

I embossed the Intense Pink panel with the Snowflakes Impressabilities by Spellbinders. I also sewed each of the panels using my sewing machine...I gave into the temptation after a bad day at work! LOL!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Gratitude Is The Memory Of The Heart

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!!

Here is my card for today's Color Challenge on SCS, CC239, Mellow Whites, as well as for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC42! I LOVE Mercy's sketches!

For my card, I started with my focal panel and cut a piece of Kraft cardstock with a Large Curved Rectangle Nestie. I then stamped the sentiment, "Gratitude is the memory of the heart", which is from the BEAUTIFUL set from There She Goes, Act of Kindness.

I then stamped some of the flowers from the same set in Whisper White Craft Ink all around the edges, put the panel BACK into the nestie and sponged it with Creamy Caramel ink.

I then cut a circle of Mellow Moss with a Circle Nestie, stamped another image from Act of Kindess in Whisper White Craft, put it back into the nestie and sponged it with Mellow Moss Ink. The back panel was also stamped and sponged the same way.

I added TONS of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles and I love how sparkly this came out. I pierced instead of sewing...I am trying really hard to NOT sew on each of my cards!! I finished this off with a double ribbon of Whisper White Organdy and Kraft Taffeta Ribbons!!

Today is Trendsetter Tuesday on the There She Goes Blog and this week's featured Trendsetter is my girl Jessie Rone!! You can check it out HERE as well as her monochromatic challenge from yesterday HERE. Make a monochromatic card and enter it for a chance to win a $5.00 Gift Certificate to the There She Goes Store! Wishing You A Day Filled With Happiness!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!

Here is my card for today's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, MOJO107!!

For my card, I used two new Verve sets, Wishing You and Swan Song, both of which I WON at the last release party (thanks Julee!!!)

I started by stamping the "Wishing You" and then "A day filled with happiness" in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and I then cut it out with a Circle Nestie.

After cutting it out, I stamped the solid flowers from Swan Song in Kiwi Kiss around the edges of the circle. I really LOVE the simple look of this!

All the patterned paper on my card is from SU!'s Urban Oasis, and all of the panels, aside from my circle focal panel, were sewed with my sewing machine.

I finished off my card with three White Brads by American Crafts on each side and a double ribbon of Whisper White Organdy Ribbon and Black Twill Ribbon.

I have TONS to do, so that is all from me for now!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Like...SO totally 80's...

Hi again everyone! Happy Sunday again!!

Here is my card for WCMD09C on SCS, sponsored by Stamping Bella!!

Just yesterday, my SIL told me about a stamp store here on LI that I had never heard of, so of course, I immediately had to go and check it out! I was SO excited to be able to purchase not one, but TWO Ketto's by Stamping Bella, and I used Charlotte Ketto here on my card!!

The theme behind this challenge was to be inspired by the 80's!! SOOOO fun! Now, I was in school in the 80's (elementary/Jr High), so I have fond memories of those days!! I colored Charlotte in some bright, fun colors and this Lime Rickey paper from Basic Grey just screams 80's to me!!

I kept up the 80's theme by using my Spiral Punch to make this look like a notebook, and of course, some bling and mismatched ribbon!! I used the "Cool Beans" sentiment from MFT's Essential Sentiments...which is SO totally 80's!

I colored Charlotte with Copic Markers and I added Aqua Marine Blingz and Bubble Gum Shimmerz to both her clothes and to my sentiment panel, which is a bunch of different layered punches!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

WCMD...a day late!

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday! I hope you all had a great World Card Making Day yesterday! I wasn't able to get ANY of the SCS challenges done yesterday, but I am stamping a bit today...I don't think I will be able to get them all done by tonight though!!

Here is my card for WCMD09A, hosted by Unity Stamps. I only have ONE Unity set (the horrors!!), and the set I have does not have a quote (sob!!). This challenge was to use a quote as the focal image of your card.

My card is also for my sweet friend Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC38, which I always mean to do and never find the time!! She has the best sketches...I am going to make a HUGE effort to play each Sunday!!

For my card, I used a beautiful quote from the Faith & Hope set from Taylored Expressions. The quote is by Sarah Ban Breathnach and it states "Expect to have hope rekindled. Expect your prayers to be answered in wondrous ways. The dry seasons do not last. The spring rain will come again". I LOVE this quote! I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and stamped the swirl, from the same set, in Soft Sky behind the quote.

The paper is Wintergreen, a retired SU! DSP, and I embossed my Always Artichoke panel with the Diamond & Stars Impressabilities by Spellbinders. I added piercing to each panel and finished the card off with some Whisper White Organdy Ribbon that I colored with a Copic Marker (B00 Frost Blue) and Always Artichoke Grograin Ribbon, and two pearl brads that were in my stash.

Off to try another challenge! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
