For my card, Sophia is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored with Copic Markers.

The patterned paper is Washington Apple DSP from SU! which my bff Dina gave me! Thanks Noodles!!!

I framed the sentiment, Make A Splash, in Oval Punches, and Sophia is framed in Circle Nestabilities.

I somehow refrained from piercing on my card (giggle!!), and I finished it off with some Bashful Blue Striped Grosgrain Ribbon!!!

There She Goes Sneak Peeks! WOOT WOOT!!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday!! Welcome to Sneak Peeks for the newest There She Goes release!!! WOOT!

I am SOOOOO excited about these TWO new sets (yes, I said two!!)!! These sets are TOTALLY awesome and perfect for any kind of stamper!!!

My first card uses a SUPAH gorgeous new set called Act of Kindness!! I cannot WAIT for you all to see the gorgeous stamps in this set!! SO versatile and gorgeous!!!

For my card, I when with a White/Black and Kiwi Kiss combo (I am TOTALLY going to miss Kiwi Kiss when it retires!!!)

I did the faux embossing technique on my card, stamping the three leaves first in Kiwi Kiss and then again, slightly askew, in Whisper White Craft ink. I LOVE the effect of this technique and I think it looks super cool with these awesome stamps!

The DSP on my card is from Rockabilly, and the sentiment was stamped on one of the Tag Trios by Spellbinders. I finished off my card with some Basic Black ribbon from Valet Ribbon Originals, and of course, tons of piercing!!!

For my next card, I used an AWESOME set called Rejuventate! This set is TOTALLY right up my alley, as I LOVE any image that I can color!!

Isn't she totally sassy? I LOVE her hanging in her tub with all the bubbles!!

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers. The bubbles are coated in Liquid Applique and the background was run through the Cuttlebug with the Spot and Dots Embossing Folder.

I LOVE the sentiments in this set, and I lined up three of them, Relax, Revitalize & Rejuvenate onto my gridline acrylic block and stamped em' on!!!

I finished off my card with some White Satin Ribbon and a small knot of Black Gingham Ribbon! I just LOVE her!!!

Thanks SO much for looking!! The next stop on the hop is Julie!!!

It's A Spring Spectacular!!!

Hi everyone!!! Happy Thursday!!! I am SOOOOOO super excited to share something TOTALLY awesome with you today!!!

You all know how much I LOVE the Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions right? Well, Taylor has done it again! You have to check out the fabulous Spring Spectacular Key Ingredients Kits being offered in limited quantities at a spectacular discount! And I mean SPECTACULAR discount!!!

Today my cards feature the Delightful Kit!!! I had SOOOOO much fun playing with this kit for SO many reasons!! The colors and papers are DELISH in this Key Ingredients, and I LOVE how well they work with my cuppies!! Of course, these Ingredients will work perfectly with any image you can think of!!!

For my first card, I used these darling cuppies from Downtown Diva, and stamped them on Choice Buttercream Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored them with Copic Markers and then cut them out. I then adhered them onto this SUPER cute label, which is part of this Key Ingredients! I stamped my sentiment, "Friends Like You Are Priceless", directly onto the label!!! I used a flower die cut in the corner for some interest, and before adhering it to my card, I punched two small holes into the center with my Crop-A-Dile and threaded this GORGEOUS ribbon right through it! I just LOVE the way this came out!!!

For my next card, I used this ADORABLE cuppie from A Year of Sweets 2, and I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock (this is the neutral cardstock that comes with this Delightful Key Ingredients!!) and colored him with my Copic Markers!!

I framed him in this FABULOUS frame die cut from the kit, and the layout I used shows more of the GORGEOUS patterned paper in this kit!!

I added a row of scallops to my "belly band" and finished off this card with some paper piercing and double ribbons, also from the kit!!!

The sentiment is from A Year of Sweet Sentiments and I punched and layered it on Small, Large and Scallop Oval Punches!!!

For my last card, I used one of my favorite cuppies ever, this little cutie pie (er...cuppie...LOL!) from Doctor's Orders!!

I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black onto the Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers.

I created a layout with some circles as I really wanted to show off the GORGEOUS papers in this kit!!! Aren't they just AWESOME????

I finished off my card with TONS of piercing and a double ribbon knot!!!

So...of course you need to know all the details right?? The Key Ingredients being released today are slightly different than the normal Key Ingredients, and you can check out Taylor's blog post today to see all the information!!

There are FOUR, yes, FOUR new kits being released!! Enchanted, Dazzled, Brilliant, and the one I showcased today, Delightful and each kit is only $12.95!! How COOL is that?????

These kits are SUPER versatile and come chock full of enough fabulousness to create tons of cards!!! These kits are in limited quantity so make sure to go over to Taylored Expressions and get the one (or more!!) that you love!!! One of the COOLEST things about these kits is that each and every kit comes with a full color inspiration sheet of SIX samples created my members of the Baker's Dozen!!!

For my card, I used one of my favorite sets, Cupcake Mix & Match, from There She Goes!!!

I stamped my cupcake in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers. The "icing" was stamped twice and popped up on dimensionals.

All the patterned paper on my card is Walk In the Park DSP from SU! and I added TONS of piercing to each and every panel :)

For my beautiful buttons, I used Baja Breeze Corduroy Buttons from SU!, which I just LOVE! I attached my buttons with linen thread directly onto my Cameo Coral panel. May I just say, I LOVE Cameo Coral! I hardly ever touched it and now I cannot get enough of it!!

Prettie White Wednesday!!!

Hi everyone! Happy Prettie Wednesday!!

Two weeks ago, Jackie Pedro (Officer in the PP world!) challenged the Pretties to quite a challenge! We had to make a card and ALL the layers MUST be White! Is she kooky or what? I actually LOVED this challenge!!

I used Hola Chica by Paper Pretties for my card, and I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I colored her with Copic Markers and framed her in Oval and Scalloped Oval Nestabilities.

All my layers, as Jackie required, are white, and I ran some of the layers through the Cuttlebug with the Floral Fantasy Embossing Folder!!

I finished off my card with some Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon (I sure hope that was allowed...I am sure Officer will tell me if I made a boo boo!!!) and there is NO piercing on my card! Shocking right? (smile!!)

You can see what the other Pretties have done with this challenge right here!!!

I wanted to share with you a cute little treat box I made for the last Prettie Stampin' In Your Jammies Party! Charmaine had challenged us to make an Easter treat, and this is what I came up with!!!

I stamped the "Hippity Hoppity Easter's On It's Way" sentiment on all four sides of the box and finished off my project with a bow of Valet Ribbon Originals (this is the yummiest ribbon!!!).

Thanks so much for stopping by! Remember to stop back tomorrow for Prettie Wednesday! Jackie Pedro gave us a huge challenge!!!

Let's Stamp Out Alzheimer's!!!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday! Happy Memorial Day!!!

We all know I love a challenge....do you? (The following was taken from Karen Motz' blog...why mess with perfection ;) )

As you may already know, Jen Tapler has set up an amazing event called Stampin' Out Alzheimer's to raise funds for the American Alzheimer's Association. This is a week long event where members will have access to freebies, challenges, classes, contests, downloads and prizes in a variety of papercrafting categories. To help out in this event I'm co-hosting a card challenge with Karen Motz and for each card you create for our challenge you'll be entered into a prize draw for a fabulous $25 gift certificate to Taylored Expressions!!!

You'll receive one entry for participating and following our challenge, but you can double your chances of winning just by using Taylored Expressions stamps in your creation!

Only those cards uploaded in the Stampin' Out Alzheimer's gallery are eligible for the $25 shopping spree at Taylored Expresions. So you'll need to join Stampin' Out Alzheimer's in order to participate, but trust me, there are soooooooooo many challenges and wonderful prizes that it's well worth it! To register simply go to the Stampin' Out Alzheimer's website - a $5 donation is requested for membership and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the American Alzheimer's Association. Membership is being approved manually so you may have a little wait before you can access the site.

Once you're a member of Stampin' Out Alzheimer's you'll find our challenge by clicking on Challenges/Announcements, then click Card Challenges and scroll down till you see "Two By Two Card Challenge". When you upload your creation to the SOA gallery, please remember to tag it with "soatwobytwo" (all one word, all lower case). We'll use the tag to sort photos into our challenge album and draw the winner from there. You may enter as many times as you wish and you may play along in as many challenges as you wish. The deadline for uploading your creations is midnight EST on Sunday, May 31st. Winners will be drawn and posted on the SOA website beginning June 1st.

For my sample, I used Doctor's Orders by Taylored Expressions!!! I knew I wanted to use as many SUPER cute images on my card as possible, so I used a layout with four circles to showcase my images!! All the images were stamped onto Choice White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic Markers.

Of course, I added some piercing (I swear my cards look naked without piercing!!), and finished it off with a Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button and some Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon!!

I hope you all play along with our challenge and I cannot WAIT to see what you have created!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Let's see if we can Stamp Out Alzheimer's together!!! I know that Paper Pretties has also donated sets to the cause! I can't wait to see who wins!!!

Get Well!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! WOO HOO! Friday night of a holiday weekend is the BOMB in my world!!!

Here is my card for today's Limited Supply Challenge on SCS, LSC221, Circle Of Life!! I do not think I have ever made a circle card before, so this was SUPER fun for me!!!

For my card, I started by making my card base from cardstock from the Father's Day Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions (which is back in stock and you can get right HERE...it's my favorite KI so far!!) using the largest of the Scallop Circle Nestabilities. I then just layered down with my nesties.

All the papers and embellishments on this card are from the Father's Day Key Ingredients, and this SUPER cute little Get Well cuppie is from Doctor's Orders, also from Taylored Expressions.

I stamped my cuppie in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream and colored him with Copic Markers. I paper pieced his *liner* with the same dp I used on the card.

I finished off my card with some ribbon and buttons!!! This was a SUPER fun challenge...off to SCS to see what everyone else did for this one!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

Happiness!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday!! Just one more day until a three day weekend! WOO HOO!!!

Here is my card for yesterday's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC229, and today's Ways To Use it Challenge on SCS, WT219, Stamp It Again, where we had to stamp an image more than once.

For my card, I actually used ONE flower stamp, and just stamped it repeatedly in several colors! The flower stamp I used is from Flowers of Happiness by There She Goes, which is probably my all time favorite flower set! The sentiment, from the same set, is just SO pretty!!!

My color combo comes from this month's Stampin' Success!! Garden Green, Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal and Regal Rose!! What a FABULOUSO combo!! I think I am going to use this combo again and again!!!

In the center of each flower I added a white center with my White Gel Pen and then added Diamond Stickles as well. Each panel has piercing around the edges and I finished off my card with two White Mini Brads by American Crafts on opposite corners and I chose to not use ribbon (crazy right????)

Thanks SOOOO much for stopping by!!

It's All About The Key Ingredients!!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday!!! Today is the release of the May Key Ingredients at Taylored Expressions and I have been having ALOT of fun playing with it, as you can see!!!

One of my favorite features of the Key Ingredients is how versatile they are!! Each and every month, the Key Ingredients come chock full of perfectly matched cardstock, patterned papers and embellishments, and you can use it them for SO many occassions and styles!!

What I have tried to do with this month's Key Ingredients, is to show all the different styles you can create! I made an (in my opinion!) elegant card, masculine card, and two whimsical cards, all using the same May Key Ingredients!!
For my first card here, I used a gorgeous flower image from Fresh Flowers by Taylored Expressions and colored my flowers with Copic Markers. I added some white gel pen highlights and all the centers have a Dew Drop, which come with this Key Ingredients! I added a border with my Fleur De Lis Punch from EK Success and finished off my card with some faux stitching, Dew Drops in two corners and some DELISH ribbon, also from the Key Ingredients!!!
For my next card, I stamped this SUPER sweet cuppie from A Year of Sweets 2 by Taylored Expressions in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers.
I added a Dew Drop as his cherry on top and framed him in Circle Nestabilities. I added a brad. from the Key Ingredients, to each of my four squares and added faux stitching around each square!!
I LOVE these colors together! So fresh and fun!! This is one of my all time favorite cuppies too!!!

For my third card, I wanted to go with a masculine look, still using the May Key Ingredients, so I decided to use this tie image from Boys Will Be Boys, from Taylored Expressions. The Boys Will Be Boys set is currently out of stock. But if you'd like to be notified when it becomes available, go here, and click request restock notification. Just enter your email address and you'll be notified as soon as it's available! I stamped the ties in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers.
For my layout, I wanted to go with a clean, yet crisp layout, so I used strips of three different patterns from the May Key Ingredients and added a faux stitch to each corner.
I added some hardware and ribbon to the corner of my focal image, which are also included in the May Key Ingredients. I placed my focal image on a diagonal, which is really bothering me (lol!!), I like everything straight, but I think it kind of works this way! My mom will be proud in any case!! She calls me "Sally Symmetrical"...LOL!!

For my last card, I wanted to go with a whimsical look!! I stamped this adorable cuppie scene from A Year of Sweets 1 by Taylored Expressions in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored the entire image with Copic Markers.
The layout that I used is one that I tend to go back to again and again. I love a center panel and I also love my images framed in nesties, both of which are on this layout.
I added a scallop border on the bottom of my center panel and some faux stitching as well!! Once again, my cuppie has a Dew Drop for his cherry! Cute right?
This card, as well as the other three, came together REALLY fast...it's all about the Key Ingredients!!!
You can see what some of the other Baker's have cooked up with this super awesome Key Ingredients right here!!!
and of course, Taylor VanBruggen!!
Have you noticed the central theme with my cards today (well, other than the TE stamps and the May KI?) All of my cards have faux stitching on them, NO sentiments (gasp!!) and can be used for all occassions! Cool right??? It will be SO nice to have a stash of cards, for any occassion, on hand when I need them!
Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

Prettie Wednesday!!!

Hi everyone! Happy Prettie Wednesday!!!

Two weeks ago, I challenged the Prettie Girls to a color challenge!!! I challenged them to use Apricot Appeal, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point, which, to me, look like the colors of the new line of stamps at Paper Pretties, Fat Cat Stamps, which are illustrated by our very own Danielle Lounds!!!
For my card, I used Home Sweet Home, the very first release from Fat Cat Stamps, and a set I just LOVE to use!! The images and sentiments in this set are SO super sweet and I LOVE to color them!!!
For my layout, I used Danielle's sketch challenge from last week, PWC52!!! The house was colored with Copic Markers and all of my panels, aside from my focal panel, were run through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, and I added two Baja Breeze Corduroy Brads!!
You can see the other Prettie creations for this challenge right here!!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a Prettie Day!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Prettie Tuesday! Around these parts (giggle!!), Tuesday's mean I get to share a Paper Pretties creation with you!!!

Here is a card from our last Paper Pretties release party! Charmaine had challenged us to make a card using Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip & Kraft!! Quite an intimidating combo but I really love these colors together!!

I stamped Sophia in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers. The Kraft DSP is from Patterns Pack and I framed Sophia with Circle Nestabilities.

I added some piercing, Chestnut Brads from American Crafts and White Satin Ribbon and called it done!!!

Warm SUO Wishes!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!!! Here is my card for today's Color Challenge on SCS, CC219, Purely Brilliant Orange! Wow...two weeks in a row of some CRAZY colors huh??

My goal with my card was to take these colors and try and make a more elegant looking card, as opposed to the normal cutesy look I would go for with these colors.

Here is what I did!! I stamped Tres Chic in Purely Pomegranate ink onto the Purely Pomegranate Cardstock. I then stamped Beautiful Borders onto my Brilliant Blue center panel, which you can barely see as I covered it with some White Satin Ribbon ;)

My focal image is the large flower from Fifth Avenue Floral and I watercolored it with Only Orange Ink and an Aquapainter.

I added some piercing, stamped the sentiment in Brilliant Blue and made it just a tab, and added three Brilliant Blue Brads that I put over 1/4 Inch Circles of Whisper White!!

This card is SUO...I am just in that kind of mood again today ;)

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

Hows about a little SUO?

Hi everyone!!! Happy Saturday!!!

Here is my card for today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS, IC180, Country Living Home Office!!! What a GORGEOUS inspiration room!!! I wish I had an office that looks like that!!!!

My card is Stampin' Up! only!!! I have SO much SU! that I never have time to use, and I knew I wanted to use Thoughts & Prayers for my card today! I LOVE this set!! I inked up the flowers with Elegant Eggplant and the stems with Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers and stamped the image onto Whisper White Cardstock.

I went with a Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant and Rose Red combo, which are not colors I would normally gravitate towards, but I really love together!! The Elegant Eggplant and Rose Red panels were textured with the Harlequin Texturz Background. I LOVE these backgrounds...I hope we get some more in the new catty!!!

My sentiment is from Sweet Serendipity and I stamped it onto Rose Red Cardstock with Elegant Eggplant ink and punched it with my Designer Label Punch. I then framed it with some Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware and used two Ice Circle Rhinestone Brads to attach it and add some bling. I finished off my card with some Whisper White Satin Ribbon (from the mini...I am totally ordering TONS of this before the mini ends!!), and of course, some piercing!!!

Chris and I took Meredith to The Bronx Zoo today and we had SO much fun! Here is a picture of Meredith and I, and one of a Polar Bear, which was one of the most magnificent animals at the Zoo!! Chris took some AMAZING pictures of the animals...perhaps he missed his calling? LOL!!!

Fun In The Sun!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Friday!! Here is my card for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge from today, TECC68, and what I originally thought was for today's Limited Supply Challenge, LSC220, Life's A Beach (until I realized that we were only supposed to use ONE embellishment!!!).

For my card I used this SUPER cute cuppie from A Year of Sweets 2!! Don't you just LOVE the cuppy sunbathing!! I colored her (him?) with Copic Markers and added some highlights with a white gel pen.

All the paper on my card is Pink Flamingo DSP and I added just a few touched of paper piercing. I added a Maya Road flower under the sentiment, four red brads from Taylored Expressions and Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise & More Mustard Grosgrain Ribbons, hence, more than one embellishment was used ;)

My scallop border was created with the new Ric Rac Scalloped Border from Spellbinders!! My sentiment, Fun In The Sun, is from A Year of Sweet Sentiments, also from Taylored Expressions!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

A Sketch and A Tin!

Hi everyone!! Happy Thursday!!!

Here is my card for yesterday's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC228, and my tin for today's Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS, WT218, Tins!!!

For both of my creations, I used She's A Lady, a FABULOUS new release from There She Goes!! This set is AWESOME and I thought it would be perfect for the tin (I made that first!), as I thought it would make a cute presentation for a gift certificate or gift card!

I have had the tin FOREVER! I picked it up one day at Michaels and it has just been sitting and sitting! I am excited to finally USE it!

For my card, I used the same set, She's A Lady, and I stamped my lady in Choice Snow White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black, and I cut her out using my Mega Curved Rectangle Nesties. All the paper is Rockabilly DSP, and my sentiment was cut out with the Tags Trio Nestabilities, and the ribbon is a mix of Kiwi Kiss Satin and Black Gingham Ribbon!!! My lady was colored in Copic Markers and all the panels have paper piercing!!

Thanks SO much for looking!!!

Prettie Wednesday!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Prettie Wednesday!!

Two weeks ago, Jackie challenged the Prettie Girls to a SUPER fun challenge! We had to take our favorite color and make a card using that color, plus one shade lighter and one shade darker!! Cool right??

For my card, I went with Chocolate...YUMMY! My three shades are Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip!!!

For my card, I used the SUPER cute apartment image from the Home Sweet Home set from Fat Cat Stamps by Paper Pretties!! I colored my image with Copic Markers, and my Creamy Caramel center panel was run through the Cuttlebug with the Harlequin Texturz Background from SU!/Sizzix. I added two Creamy Caramel buttons to the bottom corner and two to the upper corner, and the ribbon is from the Alpine Ribbon Originals from the past Winter Mini from SU!

The DSP on my card, which is my Close to Cocoa panel, is from Good Morning Sunshine DSP!! I added some piercing and called it done!!!

Wowsa...these are some colors huh??

No! There is no need to adjust your screen...these are actually the colors of my card!! (giggle!!) Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Here is my card for today's Color Challenge on SCS, CC218, and also for Mojo86!!

For my card, I knew I wanted to go bold (how can you NOT with these colors right???), so I pulled out my Beautiful Kindness set from Verve Stamps. I LOVE the elegance of this set!!! I added Basic Black as my neutral to try and make these colors a little more funky, as opposed to summery and over the top bright.

I started my running my Summer Sun panel through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. I stamped the butterflies onto Only Orange in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut them out. I added some of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles to the butterflies for a pop of bling!

I added a Basic Black border with my Fleur De Lis Punch by EK Success (LOVE this punch!!), and my sentiment, Spread Your Wings & Fly, also from Beautiful Kindness, was stamped directly onto my Summer Sun panel. My sentiment looks REALLY crooked here, but I swear, IRL, it looks straight!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Happy Birthday Christi!!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Sunday! Happy Mother's Day and....HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTI!!!

Welcome to the Prettie Birthday Blog Hop for our Prettie Gal, Christi Thorsen!!! Today is her birthday and we are all hopping to send her Birthday wishes!! The hop started over at Christie's blog, so be sure to start over there!!!

I am bringing flowers, er flower (giggle!) to the party today!! For my card, I used Giving Thanks Sophia, the newest Stamp Of The Month from Paper Pretties! Isn't she a doll? She actually looks JUST LIKE my niece, so that is all I see when I use her!!! I stamped Sophia in Memento Tuxedo Black onto PTI White and colored her with Copic Markers. I paper pieced her dress with the same Bella Rose DSP I used in the background! I know Christi likes blues and chocolates, so I went with a Baja Breeze, White and Chocolate Chip combo for her!!

Sophia is framed in Circle Nesties, and I used my awesome Fleur De Lis Punch from EK Success to create the borders (thanks Jacks!!). The sentiment is from Bugs and Fishes, and I punched it with my Word Window Punch and adhered it under my double ribbon, which is White Satin Ribbon and Valet Ribbon Orignals.

The next stop on our Prettie Birthday Hop is over at the uber-talented, super sweet and law enforcing Jackie Pedro's blog!!! Make sure you head on over and follow the hop to the end to wish Christi some special Birthday Wishes!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Birthday Christi and Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there!!!

The sentiment was stamped onto Choice Buttercream again, and I cut it out with one of the Ribbon Tags Trio from Spellbinders. I folded over one side and put the ribbon through the other (learned that SUPER cool trick from Joanne Basile at SNE!! Hi Jo!!!).

All the papers and embellies on this card are from the Father's Day Key Ingredients at Taylored Expressions. I am OVER the moon for this KI...the colors and patterns just make me smile...I cannot stop using them!!!

The Mother's Day Countdown Begins...

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!! Being I was off from work on Tuesday for Meredith's Birthday (she is 3 now!), my days are ALL sorts of screwed up! I just realized that I have ONE card done for Mother's Day, and hardly any time to make all the other's that I need!! Thus, the Mother's Day countdown begins!!!

Here is my card for yesterday's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC227, and for today's Ways To Use It Challenge, WT217, Kool Kraft!!

For my card, I used these awesome flower and vase images (they are two separate stamps!!) from the Fresh Flowers set from Taylored Expressions, and I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, and then colored them with Copic Markers. I added white gel pen highlights to certain parts of the flower and vase to make it pop.

The DSP is a mix of the retired Petals and Paisley (which I still LOVE), and Pink Flamingo (which I LOVE!!!). I used my Scallop Edge Punch to create my side scallops, and I also adding some paper piercing, two little white brads from Making Memories and finished off my card with some White Satin Ribbon!!

The sentiment is framed in Circle and Scallop Circle Punches!! Woo Hoo! A card to add to the Mother's Day box!! Yippee!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!

It's Release Day at Taylored Expressions!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday! Today is release day at Taylored Expressions!! WOO HOO!!

Today is also my baby girl's 3rd birthday!! Happy Birthday Meredith!! Mommy loves you!!

For my card today, I chose to make another card using Doctor's Orders (LOVE this set!!!), which I paired with the Father's Day Key Ingredients!! One of the things I love about the Key Ingredients is that they are not just for one specific set! The papers in this Key Ingredients are SO fun, I just had to use them!!

Taylored Expressions now offers a Key Ingredients Subscription!! Each and every month you get a new Key Ingredients sent to you which includes fabulous cardstock, patterned papers, ribbon and embellishments, which are all perfectly matched!!! You can choose either a Three Month or a Six Month Subscription!!

I stamped my Get Well Cuppie in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, and colored him with Copic Markers. I framed him in Circle and Scallop Circle Nestablities, which are then framed in an even larger Circle Nestie of one of the patterns of Cosmo Cricket Lil' Man paper I used.

I stamped my sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, and cut it out with one of the Ribbon Tags Trio from Spellbinders!! Did you know that Taylored Expressions now carries Spellbinders? They do and Taylor has a FABULOUS selection! You can check it out right here!!

I added piercing around my layers and under just the word "soon" on my sentiment tag. The buttons and ribbons are also from the Father's Day Key Ingredients!!!

Prettie Tuesday!!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!! As you may know, every Tuesday I share a Paper Pretties creation with you!!

For my card today, I used a SUPER fabulous new set from a new line of stamps at Paper Pretties, Fat Cat Stamps, which are illustrated by our very own Danielle Lounds!! These images are from her very first set, Home Sweet Home!!

We had a big release party this past Friday over at Paper Pretties, and the sketch I used for this card was created by Charmaine as one of our challenges! What a FUN sketch this was!!

I stamped my house and colored it with Copic Markers. I also created the grass line and colored the grass with Copic Markers as well. I created my sponged cloud sky using punched circles I had glued together as a template.

The DSP is Good Morning Sunshine, and I punched the For Sale sign with circle punches and used that as a focal point.

I LOVE this set!! Head on over to Paper Pretties to pick up yours! There are SO many awesome images and sentiments in this set!!

Have a Prettie Day and thanks so much for stopping by!!! I am off to Build A Bear! Today is my little pumpkin's 3rd Birthday, so we are going to make a bear, go out to lunch and have some fun!!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Home Sweet Home by Fat Cat Stamps for Paper Pretties
Paper: Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip, PTI White and Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: 1 3/8, 1 1/4 and Scallop Circle Punches, Sponge Dauber, Copic Markers, Chestnut Brads by American Crafts and Dimensionals

Have A Happy Day!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Tuesday!! Here is my card for today's Color Challenge on SCS, CC217, Garden Blue Cameo!!! Fun colors!!! I really LOVE them together!!

For my card, I used a newly released set from There She Goes called Happy Day! I LOVE this set, totally LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!

I started out by stamping my image on Ballet Blue DSP from Patterns Pack in Memento Tuxedo Black. I then stamped it again onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored the tree, grass, birds and clouds with Copic Markers. I then cut out the images and adhered them to my stamped panel of Ballet Blue.

For my layout, I used a piece of Cameo Coral DSP from Pink Flamingo, and I also used a piece of Garden Green DSP from Patterns Pack. I do not have any ribbon in any of these colors, so I used some Whisper White Satin Ribbon and colored it Coral with a Copic Marker (Cindy aka OneHappyStamper showed me this! AWESOME idea!!!).

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Stamps: Happy Day by There She Goes
Paper: Ballet Blue, Choice Snow White, Pink Flamingo DSP, Ballet Blue & Garden Green DSP from Patterns Pack
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 2!!!!

Hi everyone!!! Happy Monday!!

Welcome to day #2 of sneak peeks for the newest release at Taylored Expressions!! It has been SOOOOO hard keeping this set quiet!! O.M.G...I LOVE this set!!!

Here is a peek of a set being released tomorrow called Boys Will Be Boys!!! WOO HOO! This set is PERFECT in my world!! Both my husband and my Dad are hard working kinda guys, so this image ROCKS for both of them...plus, the other images in this set are AMAZING for any kind of man in your life!!!

My card also features cardstock, patterned paper and embellishments from the Father's Day Key Ingredients, also being released tomorrow!!

I must admit, this is my absolute FAVORITE Key Ingredients thus far...the papers in this kit are AWESOME and I have been using them over and over!!! The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket and it is from their Lil' Man line.

You will notice that on my card, I used a metal sheet (this is SUPER cool!!!), which I ran through my Cuttlebug with the Harlequin Texturz Background from Sizzix/SU!, and I also hung a super cute hammer charm onto my ribbon. These two items are not included in the Father's Day Key Ingredients, but they are part of the Boys Will Be Boys Bundle!!!

For my card, I stamped the tool belt from Boys Will Be Boys in Memento Tuxedo Black onto the Choice Buttercream cardstock from the Father's Day Key Ingredients. I then colored it with my Copic Markers, and I added small highlights of my Clear Atyou Spica pen to the "metal" parts of the tool belt.

I LOVE the brads that come in the Father's Day Key Ingredients, and I highlighted mine by punched a 3/4 Circle with a punch and placing same under the brads.

The sentiment, Happy Father's Day, is not a curved sentiment, however, I just placed it on my acrylic block and curved it before I inked and stamped it, so that it follows the lines of my circle.

I am thrilled with how this card came out! I think this is going to be my Dad's Father's Day card!!!
