No Sentiment???

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Here is my card for today's Color Challenge on SCS, CC225, Krafty Saffron Nights! Wow! I totally LOVE these colors together!

For my card, I used a BRAND new set from There She Goes (a set that I cannot seem to put down!!), called Bloom! This set ROCKS my world! The images are gorgeous and I love EACH and EVERY sentiment in this set!

Can you believe that I did not put a sentiment on my card? Crazy right? Well, I thought it would be nice to have some general cards that I can stamp a sentiment as I need them...that way I always have the "right" card on hand for any occassion!

I stamped these gorgeous flowers onto Choice Snow White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with Copic Markers. I framed my flowers in Oval and Scallop Oval Nestabilities, and added some piercing around the So Saffron Oval. My Kraft panel was run through the Cuttlebug with the Textile Embossing Folder and I then ran my Whisper White Craft Ink Pad over it to highlight the pattern.

I added two stripes of So Saffron Patterns DSP and then added three brads (they were Not Quite Navy but I made them darker with a Copic Marker) and finished off my card with two ribbon knots of Whisper White Organza Ribbon (my current favorite ribbon!).

You can get Bloom right now over at There She Goes! I think it is a MUST have set for any stamp room!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Prettie Tuesday!!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! I have another Paper Pretties creation to share with you today!!

For my card, I used Aloha Sophia, the newest Stamp Of The Month from Paper Pretties! Isn't she TOOOO cute? I just ADORE her!!!

I stamped her onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers.

All the papers, patterned papers and embellishments on my card are from the Beach Bum Key Ingredients by Taylored Expressions, and I created my circles with Circle Nestabilities.

The layout on this card is Danielle's rockin' sketch for PWC58 from this past week! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this sketch!!

As you can see, there is quite a bit of purple on my card. I must admit, I am falling in love with purple these days...it's a color I generally steered quite clear of, so it's super fun to actually USE it and LOVE it!!

You can find out more info about the Stamp Of The Month Club from Paper Pretties here!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a Prettie Day!!

It's time to BLOOM!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday! Welcome to another day of sneak peeks for the newest release from There She Goes!!!

Did you come here by way of my darling friend, the super talented Joanne? If so, perfect! If not, please start the blog hop over at the AMAZING Jessica's blog!!

Today the Trendsetters are peeking an AMAZING new set called Bloom!! As you can see (grin!), I am in LOVE with this FABULOUS new set! The images and the sentiments are UNBELIEVABLE!!! I cannot WAIT for you all the see the set in it's entirety when it is released on Sunday, June 28!!

So, I could not stop using this set at all, so I decided to make a set of cards!! Fun!! The layout is from a set of cards Cindy Lawrence (One Happy Stamper) designed as one of the classes at Stamp New England and I think it is SO super elegant!

For my set of cards, I used the same layout on each one and just switched the colors, flower image and sentiment.

I used Cameo Coral, Ballet Blue, Orchid Opulence and So Saffron as my four colors that I paired with White.

For each card, I started by stamping my flower images on Choice Snow White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them each with Copic Markers.

I used a different sentiment on each card, and I cannot honestly pick a favorite sentiment...I just LOVE them all!! OK...If I MUST pick one, the yellow card is my favorite! LOL!!

I ran the Choice White Panels and the colored belly bands on each card through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. The borders on each card were created with the Fleur De Lis Border Punch by EK Success, and each card has two circle punches with two White Brads by American Crafts.

I finished off each card with Whisper White Organza Ribbon!!

I love how elegant these came out...I tend to stamp more cutesy, so these were super fun to make!!

The next stop on this blog hop party train is a visit to the land of Stamps & Taxes...yep, the wonderful Julie Lacey!!

Graduation Cards!

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday! I needed two graduation cards for a party this afternoon, one for my niece, and one for my nephew, and here is what I came up with!

My first card combines two challenges, yesterday's Limited Supply Challenge on SCS, LSC226, Chinese Take Out, and today's Inspiration Challenge, IC186, The Charm School Dropout. I was so inspired by the colors and patterns in this picture here.

For my card, I used this ADORABLE cuppie from A Year of Sweets 3 from Taylored Expressions. My sentiment is from A Year of Sweet Sentiments, which is my favorite, go to sentiment set!!

I stamped my image onto Choice Snow White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored him with Copic Markers. The two different patterns of DSP are from Patterns Pack and Patterns Pack II from SU!.

As per the rules of the Chinese Take Out Challenge, I chose to use Ribbon and Brads for my embellies, and I used a ribbon knot of Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon and White Brads by American Crafts!!

This was SUCH a fun card to make and I LOVED this LSC!!!

Recipe:
Stamps: A Year of Sweets 3 and A Year of Sweet Sentiments from Taylored Expressions
Paper: Brocade Blue, Choice Snow White Cardstock, Real Red DSP from Patterns Pack and Brocade Blue DSP from Patterns Pack II
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copic Markers, Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, White Brads by American Crafts, Paper Piercing Tool and Template and Dimensionals

I made this next card for my niece. She just graduated from Middle School so I wanted her card to be a bit more grown up and funky.

The layout that I used is from Julee's blog from May, and this card is for Thursday's Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS, WT224, Bold & Bright!!

I thought that these two new In Colors, Crushed Curry and Rich Razzleberry, fit the Bold & Bright really well, and I love how they look together!! The DSP is Razzleberry Lemondade, also from SU!.

For my card, I used this gorgeous set from Verve called Up Up and Away, and I stamped the balloon in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I colored it with Copic Markers.

The sentiment, So Proud Of You, is from Uplifting Phrases, also from Verve Stamps!! I finished off my card withe some yummy new Crushed Curry Polka Dot Ribbon and four of Taylor's Tiny Twinkles from Taylored Expressions in the corner. I think my niece will really love this card!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

Recipe:
Stamps: Up Up and Away and Uplifting Phrases by Verve Stamps
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, Choice Snow White & Razzleberry Lemonade DSP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copic Markers, Crushed Curry Polka Dot Ribbon, Taylor's Tiny Twinkles and Dimensionals

There She Goes Sneek Peaks Begin!!

Hi everyone!!! Happy Friday! WOO HOO! I am SOOOOOOOOOOO excited that I get to show you some samples I have created with a FAB set from There She Goes called Life's A Beach! This set will be released on Sunday, June 28, 2009 (along with another set that I LOVE and get to share with you all tomorrow!!).

Did you come here by way of the super talented and super sweet Joanne? If so, wonderful! If not, make sure you start the blog hop at Jessica's blog!

I have two samples to share with you today because I couldn't stop using this set!!

For my first card, I used just about the very last of my Georgia Peach DSP and I just LOVE the colors with these SUPER fun images! I stamped the three different drink images onto Choice Snow White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with Copic Markers. I added some Crystal Effects to each of the glasses for a bit of shine!

The sentiment, "It's 5:00 Somewhere" was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and then cut out with one of the Ribbon Tags Trio from Spellbinders. I added some piercing and three different ribbons, and finished off the card with three So Saffron Brads on the top!!!

For my next card, I wanted to show how FAB this set is for invitations!!

For this card, I started with a soft color combo of Soft Sky, Close to Cocoa and White. I used some Good Morning Sunshine DSP and my "belly band" is a piece of Soft Sky cardstock that I ran through the Cuttlebug with the Spots and Dots Embossing Folder. To add more interest, I highlighted the embossed circles with a Whisper White Craft Ink Pad.

I stamped this super relaxing image onto Choice Snow White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copic Markers. Once again, I stamped my sentiment, this time using "just another day in paradise" and cut it out with the Ribbon Tags Trio by Spellbinders. I attached it with some super yummy Whisper White Organza Ribbon.

I finished off the front of my card with four White Brads by American Crafts in each corner of my Soft Sky Panel, and then another two on top for some interest and balance! I pierced just a bit on this one :)

For the inside (which I think is SO fun!), I stamped this fabulous tropical frame and then stamped "You Are Invited" inside it! I then stamped the Tiki Torches to highlight the date, time & rsvp, which I created with the A-Z 123 set from There She Goes! It was SUPER easy to get them all lined up nice and neat using my 3" X 4" Grid Acrylic Block.

I colored all the images with my Copic Markers (of course! What else do I ever reach for these days! grin!), and I added some shadowing around the words for some added interest.

The next stop on this blog hop is over at the SUPER fabu Julie Lacey's blog! Head on over and leave her some love!!

Prettie (animalistic) Wednesday!!

Hi Prettie Peeps! Happy Wednesday!!

Two weeks ago, the uber fabuloso Jules challenged the Prettie Girls to make a card with an animal on it! Fun!!!

For my card, I used this super cute little dog, Daisy, from the Rainy Day Friends set from Paper Pretties!!

My layout is Jen's Sketch For You To Try, SFYTT, from Saturday! I stamped Daisy and the butterfly in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers. I framed them with my Circle Nestablities.

All the patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket, their Lil' Man line (LOVE this paper! It was the inspiration for the colors on my blog re-do!!), and I added tons of piercing all over.

I finished off my card with a ribbon knot and three buttons tied on with linen thread!!

Prettie Tuesday!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! I have another Paper Pretties creation to share with you today!

My cousins just purchased a new home (I haven't seen it yet but I am hearing that it is WAAAAAY bigger than the one I stamped...LOL!!), so I thought I would make them a "New Home" card!

I used Home Sweet Home, a FABULOUS set from Fat Cat Stamps by Paper Pretties! This line of stamps is illustrated by our very own Prettie Girl, Danielle Lounds, and I LOVE to use it whenever I get the opportunity!!

I stamped the house onto Choice Snow White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copic Markers. I also stamped the moving truck in the same ink and paper and colored it with Copic Markers as well.

The layout is Taylor's sketch from this past Friday, TECC73, and I used the moving truck as my panel! Fun stuff!!

I went with a Riding Hood Red and White Combo, and the polka dot paper is Rockabilly DSP. I finished off my card with some piercing and some yummy white satin ribbon from SU!

Just A Note:
Each Sunday, I chose a Prettie Card of the Week and post it on the Paper Pretties Blog, The Paper Clip! We are now doing something new and super fun! Each month, the four cards that are chosen for the Prettie Card of the Week will be entered into a drawing and one of those creators will receive a $5.00 Gift Certificate to The Prettie Boutique! Cool right? The only thing you need to do is make a card with any Paper Pretties stamps and upload it to the Paper Pretties Gallery and SCS. You can register for the Paper Pretties Gallery right here, and when uploading to SCS, please use the following keywords:

An SUO FS!

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday again!! Here is my card for today's Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS, FS124, which honors Christy S.!

Christy has an awesome gallery and it was SUPER hard to choose a card to case! I finally decided to case her Finally... card.

For my version, I kept her awesome layout, but changed the colors, stamps and added TONS of layers!!

I used a color combo of Basic Black, Whisper White and the new Melon Mambo! I also used a piece of Melon Mambo DSP from the Lovely Flowers DSP, a Level 3 Hostess Bundle. The stamps, Flower Lines, are from the same bundle. I stamped the flowers twice each onto Whisper White and watercolored them with an Aquapainter and Melon Mambo reinker. I then cut them out and popped them up on Dimensionals. I added touches of Dazzling Diamonds to each of them using my Two Way Glue Pen.

I created my center border with the Scallop Edge Punch and added some piercing by the sentiment and around the top of my focal panel. I finished off my card with a double ribbon of Melon Mambo Polka Dot Ribbon and Black Gingham Ribbon!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

The DSP on this is called Lovely Flowers, part of a Level 3 Hostess Bundle from SU!

I stamped the flower and leaves twice in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them both with Copic Markers. I then cut out the flower and leaves and they are popped up on dimensionals. I framed my flower in Circle Nestabilities, and I also used Circle Nestabilities to create the Melon Mambo circle panel, which I ran through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.

I added two White Brads to the top and bottom left corners, and I finished off my card with little tiny touches of piercing and some yummy Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon! Fun!

For my next card, I used the Tastes Like Chicken set from There She Goes! This set is HYSTERICAL!! For my card, I used this super fun sofa image, which I stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Very Vanilla cardstock. I also stamped the sofa image onto some Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and used it to paper piece my couch. This pattern from Razzleberry Lemonade SCREAMS 70's sofa to me!! LOL!!

I used the same pattern for the background of my card, as well as the square layer. The layout is this week's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC233. I thought this layout worked really well with my sofa image.

I finished off my card by running the Dusty Durango panel through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, and I added a Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon.

All the patterned paper on this card is Razzleberry Lemonade by SU! and I added a ribbon knot of Melon Mambo Polka Dot Ribbon to the corner of my longest panel (I am SOOOOO super excited to have polka dot ribbon from SU!!).

Bunches of Thanks!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday again!! While I was on vacation in Maine this past week, I visited an AWESOME stamp store in New Hampshire called Stamped Designs! They had SO many awesome things, including Flopsey Flowers from MFT, which I have been wanting for SO long!! Woo Hoo!!

I also LOADED up on Copics! They have the full line there and I joked to my mom that I heard Angels singing when I opened the door! LOL!!

For my card, I used Jen's SFYTT from last Saturday (June 13), and I stamped Flopsey in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock from Taylored Expressions. I colored Flopsey with Copic Markers (E31, E33 & E35 if you would like to know!), and the flowers were stamped twice, colored with Copic Markers and popped up on dimensionals. I added Star Dust Stickles to the center of each flower.

I used a color combo of Cameo Coral, the new Bermuda Bay (I think this may be my favorite of the new in colors!!) and Choice Snow White and the patterned paper is from the Summer Paper Pack, also from MFT, that I picked up at Stamped Designs!

I added some lines of color with a Cameo Coral Stampin Write Marker and a Taken With Teal Stampin Write Marker and a ruler. I finished off my card by adding my sentiment panel and a button tied with some linen thread. I added a knot of Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon to the corner of my card.

I stamped Aloha Sophia onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers! I chose my patterned paper before coloring her, and for this card, I used Bali Breeze DSP (remember this paper? I still have an entire unopened pack of it...hmmm...perhaps I can add that to some upcoming blog candy?!)

The layout on this card is Danielle's AWESOME sketch for PWC56, from last week! LOVE this layout and I can see myself using this over and over!!

I punched the sentiment out with my Small Oval Punch and it is layered on a Large Oval Punch and a Scallop Oval Punch, all by SU!

I could stamp all night with JustRite!!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!

I am SUPER excited to share a fun little set of magnets I created with some FABU new JustRite stamps that I got at Taylored Expressions!!

So, it is no secret that I LOVE lattes! Iced or Hot, Tall, Grande or Venti (OK...I always go Venti...lol!!)...I LOVE coffee!!! So I knew I *had* to have the Caffeine Centers & Borders set!!! SO fun!!!

I stamped my image using the 2 inch Wooden Stamper with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, and then cut them all out with Circle Nestabilities. I framed them with Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities in coordinating colors of Prism cardstock in Intense Orange, Blush Red Dark and Island Mist Light. Can you tell I LOVE these colors? They are the colors used in my new blog banner!!!

I colored all my latte cups with Copic Markers, switching out the colors of the lids, cups and liners on all of them. I added a shadow behind each cup ala Denise aka Peanutbee (she is SO awesome at that...clearly I need ALOT more practice!).

I had some business card magnets hanging around (ok...I have been hoarding them!), and so I punched out a magnet circle using my 1/4 Inch Circle Punch and adhered a magnet circle to the back of each of my creations. Super easy!!

These magnets are already proving to be invaluable in my stamp room!! I have a magnetic, dry erase calendar board where I *try* and keep myself organized, so that is where all my latte magnets live now!!

As you can see, it makes it SUPER easy to keep all my "to do" lists handy...like this one reminding me to order the June Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions on June 20th!!!

Quite a few of the girls have some FABULOUS projects today using Just Rite products! You can check them all out right here!!!

Here is my card for the There She Goes Challenge, TSG09, which was to use this AWESOME sketch and we also had an inspiration! I was SO inspired by the colors in this room here!

I used images from the FABU set from There She Goes, Rejuvenate! These images are UBER fun to color in my opinion!!!

I stamped each image twice, both onto Choice Snow White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black, and colored them with Copic Markers. I then cut out one of each image and popped it up on dimensionals.

The soap bubbles and the soap bottle both have a coating of Diamond Stickles, and I ran some of the panels through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder!

I used a color combo of Ruby Red, Cameo Coral and Soft Sky and I must admit, these colors make me SOOOOOO happy together!!! I finished off my card with some Ruby Red Brads and a combo of Soft Sky Double Stitched Ribbon and Black Gingham Ribbon. I did add some piercing to the focal panel and the belly band!

Thanks SO much for looking!!!! Off to see what everyone has done with this awesome sketch & inspiration! We would love you to play along! When uploading to SCS please use the keyword TSG09!

Happy Birthday Taylor!!!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday and Happy Birthday to Taylor!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Here is my card for Taylor's Cupcake Sketch Challenge, TECC72 and to celebrate Taylor's Birthday...cuppie style!!!

For my card, I used the UBER-cute new cuppie set from Taylored Expressions, Beach Bum!!! I totally LOVE LOVE LOVE this set! The images are totally adorable and I LOVE to color them all!!!

I started by stamping cuppie in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, and colored him with Copic Markers. The suntan lotion was stamped twice, colored with Copics and popped up on a dimensional. The birthday hat, because cuppie got all dressed up for Taylor's Birthday, is from Beary Special Accessories from Taylored Expressions, and it was also stamped twice, colored with Copics and popped up on a dimensional!!

ALL the cardstock, patterned paper and embellishements on my card (yes, I said ALL) are from the Beach Bum Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions!! I LOVE this Key Ingredients! The colors and papers are SOOOOOOO colorful and fun, and I have to admit, I have a newfound LOVE for purple after using these papers! I think all my cuppies are going to be purple for awhile! LOL!!

No piercing AND no stamping???

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday!

Here is my card for yesterday's Sketch Challenge on SCS, SC232!! There is NO piercing and NO stamping on my card! Can you even believe it?? This is also an SUO card!!

So, for my SAB rewards I chose the Lovely Flowers (Hostess Level 3) Bundle (sweet right?), and it arrived today! WOO HOO!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new in colors, but they are not here yet (sob!), so how could I use all this GORGEOUS Lovely Flowers DSP? Well, I just used Whisper White to layer all my layers!!

I used the Lovely Lines Rub-Ons for my focal image and my sentiment on the bottom, which is kind of hard to see, and all the DSP is Lovely Flowers, all from the bundle.

I simply added some Whisper White Satin Ribbon and two Neutrals Brads in white, and called it done!!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by! Off to blurf a bit before bed!!!

Oh! Before I forget, click on the Stamping Around logo to the right to find out all sorts of info! You can register RIGHT NOW for the Connecticut Stamping Around (which I am HOPING I can go to!!) and other locations are on the way too!!!

Prettie 3X3 Wednesday!!

Hi everyone! Happy Prettie Wednesday!! Two weeks ago, Christi challenged the Prettie Girls to a SUPER fun challenge! We were to make a 3X3 card and it had to have a button it! FUN!!!

For my card, I started with this SUPER cute image of moving boxes from Home Sweet Home from the UBER fabu new line of stamps at Paper Pretties, Fat Cat Stamps!!! I stamped in onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers.

The patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket Lil' Man and the cardstock is all from Prism! I added two buttons in coordinating colors with some linen thread and of course, added some piercing (which looks ULTRA crooked in this picture for some reason!!!).

You can see what the other Prettie Girls have done with this challenge right here!!

Prettie Tuesday!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!! As you may know, I share a Paper Pretties creation with you each and every Tuesday!

For my card today, I used Jen's SFYTT from this past Saturday for my layout, and I used this AWESOME watering can image from Paper Pretties, Simply Special, as my focal image.

I stamped the watering can in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers.

All the papers on this card are from Sweet Always DSP, which is one of my favorites!!

The sentiment, "for you" is from All Holidays by SU! and is punched with the Small Oval Punch and layered with the Large Oval Punch, both from SU!

I added some piercing all around my Chocolate Chip panel and around my Chocolate Chip oval.

I finished off my card with some White Satin Ribbon (which I really need to order more of before it is gone!!!)

Thanks SO much for stopping by and have a Prettie Day!!

You Make My Heart Sing!!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday again!!! Here is my card for yesterday's Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS, FS122, which honors Kisa!!

What a SUPER fun gallery she has! I had a hard time choosing a card to case, but finally decided on her super sweet Bubbles card.

I kept her AWESOME layout with the two circles, and I also kept her "lovey" theme, but I changed the following:

1. Used different stamps
2. Used different colors and added DSP
3. Added ribbon and piercing
4. Changed Brad placement

For my card, I used one of my all time favorite sets, Happy Day by There She Goes!! The stamps in this set just make me SMILE!!! I LOVE the whimsical images and the sentiments!! I stamped the tree (which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!) in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with my Copic Markers. The heart was also stamped and colored with Copics, and I cut it out and popped it up on dimensions onto my tree.

Can you tell that the heart fits PERFECTLY in the tree? Yep, it lines right up with the leaves! LOVE that!!!

I used the "You Make My Heart Sing" sentiment from this set, and I added the little music notes and the heart! I colored the heart with Copics and then, using my Two Way Glue Pen, I added Crystal Transparent Glitter by Art Institute Glitter onto the heart on the tree as well as the heart on my sentiment panel.

All the circkes were created with Circle Nestabilities, and I didn't have any ribbon to match my colors, so I took some Whisper White Taffetta Ribbon and colored it to match my Garden Green cardstock with a Copic Marker. I also colored my Gingham Ribbon with a Copic Marker to match as well!!

The three white brads on the top are from American Crafts, and I pierced all around the edge of my patterned paper, which is from Pink Flamingo DSP!

Thanks SOOOO much for stopping by!!!

Beary Inspired!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday (well, it's kinda late...so Happy Saturday!!)! Here is my card for today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS, IC183, Design Dazzle, and also for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge, TECC71!

I LOVE today's inspiration!! I was SO inspired by this Room of The Month!! How GORGEOUS is this room? Now, I JUST re-did Meredith's room with a big girl bed and new bedding...SO cute...but, this site totally makes me want to do it over....AGAIN! LOL!!

I LOVE the colors and vintage patterns in this room, and I immediately thought of the papers and patterns in the Delighted Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions, so that was my jumping off point. This Key Ingredients is a limited edition, so if you want it you better go grab it! LOL!!

I was in a coloring kinda mood, so I stamped this ADORABLE teddy bear from Beary Special by Taylored Expressions onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers. I colored the heart with Copic Markers as well, cut it out and popped it up on dimensionals.

Well, it's off to bed for me!! Thanks SO much for stopping by!!!

Paper: All from the Delighted Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions

Taylored Expressions Release Day!!

Hi everyone!! Today is Release Day at Taylored Expressions and I am SOOOOOOOOO super excited!!Today I have two sets to share with you!! They are both TOO wonderful for words!!

The first set I am going to share with you is called For The Love of Cupcakes and it could not possibly be more FUN to use!!

For my card, I stamped this DELICIOUS tower of cupcakes in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Snow White Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers!!

ALL of the papers, cardstock and ribbon on my card are from the Cupcakes Key Ingredients, and I have to tell you, each and element in this Key Ingredients is just like sugar...totally fun and totally sweet!!!

The Cupcakes Key Ingredients also includes yummy glitter, so for my card, I used the glitter to glitterfy (ok...so I just made that word up!) some regular old brads that I have had hanging around! I LOVE how it gives such a fresh, fun look to them!!!

I added some piercing around my focal image as well as the DELICIOUS papers on my card. I used my SU! Slot Punch to create the slot that I threaded my pink polka dot ribbont through, and my sentiment, Cupcakes Make Life Sweet, is layered on a Large Oval Punch and Scallop Oval Punch!!The glittery heart sticker on my sentiment is from stickers that are part of the For The Love Of Cupcakes Bundle!!

Of course, I have another card that I used For The Love of Cupcakes on!!

For this card (which I totally love to be honest!!), I stamped the number candles in rows on Choice Snow White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them all with Copic Markers. I stamped this SUPER cute cupcake two times, also onto Choice Snow White Cardstock, and colored it with Copic Markers.
I paper pieced the cupcake *liner* with the DELISH striped paper from the Cupcakes Key Ingredients, and the *frosting* was cut out and popped up on dimensionals. The *cherry on top* was also popped up on dimensionals, and I added some Cyclamen Glitter to make it sparkle! The glitter is also included in the Cupcakes Key Ingredients (see why I LOVE the KI?).
I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with one of the Ribbon Tags Trio dies from Spellbinders, and finished off my card with more of the delish ribbon from the Cupcakes KI!! I have SO many ideas with this set, it was hard to not make 10 cards to show you today! How cool would it be to use the number candles again and just color in a certain numbered candle to a specific birthday? See...the possibilities in this set are ENDLESS!!!
In addition to For The Love of Cupcakes, I also get to share with you ANOTHER set being released today! This next set is called Faith & Hope, and it is the first set in a new line of stamps called Lasting Impressions! This set has the most beautiful, inspiring sentiments and quotes and I cannot wait to show you some of them here today!!

My card here has a gorgeous quote on it from this new set, and it says "Expect to have hope rekindled. Expect your prayers to be answered in wondrous ways. The dry seasons do not last. The Spring rain will come again". Isn't that just gorgeous???
I paired this beautiful quote with one of my favorite stamps, this image of flowers from Fresh Flowers by Taylored Expressions. I stamped the flowers onto Choice Snow White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored the flowers with Copic Markers. All the cardstock, patterned papers, brads and ribbon on this card are from the May 20th Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions.
I framed my image in Oval and Scallop Oval Nestabilites and added some piercing around the edges.
For my last card today, I paired a beautiful sentiment from Faith & Hope, "Faith is the bird that sings when the dawn is still dark" with the Branching Out set from Taylored Expressions.
I stamped the branch and bird in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers. I then framed my image with Oval Nestabilites. I sponged a bit of Baja Breeze ink onto my Buttercream panel to soften the look of my card.
All the cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon and bling on my card are from the Mother's Day Key Ingredients by Taylored Expressions.
I am not sure if you can see it, but I stamped a gorgeous scroll image under my sentiment in Versamark, and it looks quite elegant in real life.
I hope you enjoyed all the cards I shared with you today! Make sure to head over to the other members of the Baker's Dozen to see what they have in store for you today!!

and of course, Taylor VanBruggen!!!
Don't forget that all of the sets you have seen for the past few days are released today at Taylored Expressions! If you are like me and have to have all the newly released sets, you can get the Stamp Lover's Bundle and treat yourself!!!

Dollar Find Friday!!!

Hi everyone!! Happy Friday!!!

Today is my turn to host the There She Goes Dollar Find Friday! This is my first time as a Trendsetter doing a Dollar Find Friday, so be gentle!! LOL!!!
For my Dollar Find Friday project, I wanted to make a little decor item! I found this SUPER cute wood frame at AC Moore and yes, it was only $1.00!!!

I started by lightly sanding my frame to get it as smooth as possible. There is no glass to this frame, it is just an open window.

I painted my frame black with some acrylic paint (I was a tole painter before I caught the stamping bug, and so I still have alot of paints, brushes, varnishes, etc...all of which came in very handy for this project!!).

I then stamped three of the large flowers, a bunch of leaves and some small flowers, all from Flowers of Happiness by There She Goes onto Choice Snow White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black. I stamped the beautiful sentiment, which is from Friendship Flowers by There She Goes, onto Shimmery White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black. I wasn't sure at this point which of the flowers I would use, so I just stamped a bunch :) I then colored them with Copic Markers, and you can see how I just colored parts of the three big flowers, as I knew I wanted to cut them out and layer them on top of each other as my focal point.

After I cut out my flowers, I assembled them together, added the leaves and added them to my painted black frame. I used Zip Dry Paper Glue for this and WOW...this glue ROCKS!!! We received the glue at Stamp New England and I use it ALL the time!!!
I pierced around my sentiment (of course!!), and I added rhinestones all around the frame opening! After everything was assembled, I sprayed the entire finished frame with a matte finish sealer!!!

Here is my finished project!

I am giving this to my friend Dina as part of her Birthday gift! I hope she likes it and I hope you like it too!
Thanks SO much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial!!!
