Forever Friends! {CTD449}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Vickie has challenged us to use the beautiful combination of orange, brown and green! Great combo!

I LOVE the gorgeous new Petals & Pallets stamp set and Petals & Pallets Dies from Concord and 9th! I knew I had to have them when they were released this month! The pallet die is SUPER cool! I started by cutting Natural Card Stock using the pallet die, and I cut it twice and then glued them together. I stamped them using Natural Premium Dye Ink with the wood plank stamps included in the set, and then stamped “forever” using Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink. I then popped the pallet up onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics.

The flowers and leaves were cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Petals & Pallets Dies and then stamped them using Petals & Pallets. The flowers were first stamped using Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink,then the edges inked with Orange Zest Premium Dye Ink and then the edges inked again using Persimmon Premium Dye Ink. I stamped the leaves the same way, first using Field Day Premium Dye Ink and then using Timber Green Premium Dye Ink. I wrapped the card using Hemp Cord and then added the flowers and leaves, popping them up with Foam Tape. I then added a bow of Hemp Cord, and a small panel of Smooth White Card Stock and I stamped “FRIENDS” using Field Day Premium Dye Ink. I finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots.

June MFT Creative Construction With Blueprints!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It’s time for the June MFT Creative Construction With Blueprints feature, and this month, the team is creating masculine cards using Blueprints Die-namics!

Print

I’ve paired Blueprints 22 Die-namics with Get Down to Business and the Get Down to Business Die-namics for my card today! SO fun! I started by cutting a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 22 Die-namics, and then added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 2 Die-namics. The two horizontal strips were cut from the Graphic Grid Paper Pack, and the polka dot panel was cut from After Midnight Prestige Card Stock using Blueprints 22 Die-namics.

The circle panel was cut from Natural Card Stock, and I cut the business shirt, mug and pen from X-Press It Blending Card using the Get Down To Business Die-namics. I stamped them all using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I popped up the circle panel using Foam Tape, and stamped “MANDATORY MEETING! ME. YOU. SOON.” using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

A Million Thanks! {WSC338}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new MFT Sketch Challenge! This week we are up to WSC338, and I LOVE this sketch!!

Print

I started off my card by watercoloring a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using Distress Inks. Once the panel was dry, I cut out the heart using the Stitched Heart STAX Die-namics. The sentiment panel was cut from Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics, and I stamped “A MILLION THANKS” from Essential Sentiments, using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it with White Detail Embossing Powder.

The main panel of Smooth White Card Stock was cut using Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and I stamped it with the Diagonal Stripes Background using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I cut a frame of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock using the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Die-namics, and the center was cut from Smooth White Card Stock. I popped up the heart and sentiment strip using Foam Tape, and then finished off the card with a trio of black enamel dots.

Thanks! {CTD448}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Lynn has challenged us to use purple, mint green, hot pink and teal! WOW! Awesome colors!

Print

I am OBSESSED with the Color Drops set! I started with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and then stamped the Color Drops set using Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink, Purple Rain Premium Dye Ink, Ripe Raspberry Premium Dye Ink and Spearmint Premium Dye Ink. I stamped the circles using Silver Delicata Ink.

I cut “THANKS” out using the Big Thanks Die-namics from Smooth White Card Stock, and I cut it four times and layered each letter so they are thick. I then added them to on top of the stamped drops and added a thin strip of patterned paper from the Black & White Basics Paper Pack. I finished off the card with a trio of rhinestones.
