B Is For Birthday! {CTD483}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Broni has challenged us to use the gorgeous combination of kraft, green and coral! LOVE!

I’m trying to bulk up my stash of Birthday cards, and I’ve had this Monogram B set from Concord & 9th for a little while now, and had yet to ink it up! What a quick, easy and fun card this set creates!

CTD483

I started with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock, and I stamped the main image using Kraft Premium Dye Ink. The leaves were stamped using Gumdrop Green Premium Dye Ink, and the flowers using Coral Crush Premium Dye Ink. I trimmed the panel down and matted it with Gumdrop Green Card Stock.

The main panel is Smooth White Card Stock cut using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and I stamped “IS FOR BIRTHDAY” using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I wrapped the panel with Hemp Cord and then added the focal panel, popping it up with Foam Tape. I added a bow of Hemp Cord and then finished the card with a trio of enamel dots.

Love You! {CTD478}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Lynn has challenged us to use hot pink, lime green, yellow and light blue! LOVE!

CTD478

I’ve used some fun new products from Concord & 9th for my card! I started by creating the background, and cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics. I used the new Heart Turnabout to create the background. I stamped the background using Ripe Raspberry Premium Dye Ink, Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink, Pineapple Premium Dye Ink and Limelight Premium Dye Ink.

I used the new Hearts & Loves Dies to create the “love” and the heart. I cut the “love” from Smooth White Card Stock, Pineapple Prestige Card Stock and Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock. I used Glossy Accents on the Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock layer. LOVE. The heart was cut from Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock, and I stamped “YOU” from Petals & Pallets set using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it using White Detail Embossing Powder. I finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots.

Forever Friends! {CTD449}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Vickie has challenged us to use the beautiful combination of orange, brown and green! Great combo!

CTD449

I LOVE the gorgeous new Petals & Pallets stamp set and Petals & Pallets Dies from Concord and 9th! I knew I had to have them when they were released this month! The pallet die is SUPER cool! I started by cutting Natural Card Stock using the pallet die, and I cut it twice and then glued them together. I stamped them using Natural Premium Dye Ink with the wood plank stamps included in the set, and then stamped “forever” using Hot Fudge Premium Dye Ink. I then popped the pallet up onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics.

The flowers and leaves were cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Petals & Pallets Dies and then stamped them using Petals & Pallets. The flowers were first stamped using Orange Fizz Premium Dye Ink,then the edges inked with Orange Zest Premium Dye Ink and then the edges inked again using Persimmon Premium Dye Ink. I stamped the leaves the same way, first using Field Day Premium Dye Ink and then using Timber Green Premium Dye Ink. I wrapped the card using Hemp Cord and then added the flowers and leaves, popping them up with Foam Tape. I then added a bow of Hemp Cord, and a small panel of Smooth White Card Stock and I stamped “FRIENDS” using Field Day Premium Dye Ink. I finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots.

Oh, Hello There Friend! {CTD447}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Lori has challenged us to use Navy, Aqua, Lime & Kraft! LOVE these colors!

CTD447

So, my obsession with the Turnabout stamps from Concord & 9th is still going strong! I LOVE the Oh Hello Turnabout stamp! I started with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 1 DIe-namics and stamped the Oh Hello Turnabout stamp four times, using Blueberry Premium Dye Ink, Limelight Premium Dye Ink, Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink and Natural Premium Dye Ink. LOVE.

I cut a circle of Blueberry Prestige Card Stock using the Circle STAX 2 Die-namics, and stamped “Oh, Hello There” from the Oh Hello Turnabout set using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it with White Detail Embossing Powder. I stamped “FRIEND” onto a panel of Limelight Prestige Card Stock using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed that as well using White Detail Embossing Powder. I then trimmed the panel down and added it to the circle panel. I added a panel of Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock, and a strip of Natural Card Stock, behind the circle element, and then added a trio of enamel dots.

Hello Lovely! {Stamp, Ink & Paper Challenge #100}

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It’s time for this week’s Stamp, Ink & Paper Challenge!  This week is the 100th Challenge (WOW) and the theme is card maker’s choice!  SO fun!

SPI 100

Well, I simply cannot get enough of the Triangle Turnabout Background from Concord & 9th, and I used yet again!  I started with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and then stamped the panel using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink, Coral Crush Premium Dye Ink and Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink.

I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, and then stamped “HELLO” and “lovely” from Hello Lovely, also from Concord & 9th, using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink and Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink respectively.  I added two flags cut using the Stitched Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics using Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock and Coral Crush Prestige Card Stock.  I finished off my card with a trio of enamel dots.

Hello Lovely! {CTD443}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, Broni has challenged us to use turquoise, lime green, yellow and white!  SO pretty!

CTD443

I LOVE these colors and had so much fun making this card, which I gave to my 98 year old Nani for Mother’s Day!  I started with a panel of Ranger Watercolor Paper cut with Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and I then stamped these GORGEOUS flowers from Hello Lovely by Concord & 9th using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed the flowers with Black Embossing Powder.

I watercolored the flowers using my Gansai Tambi Watercolors that I got some time ago from my pal Vanessa’s shop and just used for the first time!  They are SO fun and SO pigmented!  After I watercolored the flowers, I spritzed on some of the colors, as well as some white acrylic paint that I watered down.  The sentiment, “HELLO LOVELY” was stamped using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink and Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink. A trio of rhinestones completes the card.

I Appreciate You So Much! {CTD442}

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge, and this week, our fearless leader, my dear friend Barbara has challenged us to use light blue, kraft, gray and golden yellow!  Now, while Barbara has chosen this gorgeous palette this week, she does NOT know that the rest of the team has gotten together and created thank you cards, ALL FOR HER, to thank her for all she does for the Color Throwdown Challenge!  Bar, you are tireless, organized and you keep us all inspired, thank you for ALL that you do, and for being my friend.  I just love you!

CTD442

For my card for Barbara, I started with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics, and I stamped it with the awesome Triangle Turnabout Background from Concord & 9th using Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink, Cement Gray Premium Dye Ink, Kraft Premium Dye Ink and Lemon Chiffon Premium Dye Ink.  LOVE.

I cut the “Thanks” from the Thanks & Hello Die-namics from Sno Cone Card Stock three times and then layered them together.  I then added it to a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the Circle STAX 1 Die-namics.  I cut a panel of Cement Gray Prestige Card Stock and stamped “I APPRECIATE YOU SO MUCH” from Geometric Greenery using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it with White Detail Embossing Powder.  I finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots.
