Happy You Day!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It's time for the March Hits & Highlights Feature from MFT, and this month, we are working with the amazing Pumped-Up Alphabet and/or Pumped-Up Numbers sets! I am OBSESSED.

I LOVE the Pumped-Up Alphabet SO much!! It makes it SO fun to personalize cards!! I created this Birthday card for my little one, bonus, she loves penguins!

I began with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock, and using the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink, created the cloud background. I then stamped "AVERY", using the Pumped-Up Alphabet, with Ripe Raspberry, Coral Crush, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple and Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Inks. LOVE.

The "grass" was cut from Sour Apple Card Stock using the Grassy Fields Die-namics and I trimmed it down and added it to the main panel. The penguins were cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Party Penguins Die-namics, and stamped with Party Penguins using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and Coral Crush Premium Dye Ink. Aren't they SO cute? I popped them up onto the scene with foam tape, and using a thin sharpie, drew in the balloon strings. I stamped the sentiment, "Happy You Day", from Party Penguins, using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.

I'm So Thankful For You and Pizza!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It's time for the February MFT Hits & Highlights Feature! This month, the MFT Design Team is creating delicious pizza creations using the FABULOUS Pizza My Heart set and Pizza Maker Die-namics! LOVE!

I had SO much fun creating my pizza! The crust was cut from Natural Card Stock and the sauce from Wild Cherry Card Stock. The cheese was cut from Smooth White Card Stock and then lightly sponged with Kraft Premium Dye Ink. I cut the peppers from Field Day Prestige Card Stock, the onions from Wild Wisteria Prestige Card Stock, the mushrooms from Kraft Card Stock, the pepperoni from Electric Red Prestige Card Stock and finally, the olives from Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock.

The main panel of Smooth White Card Stock was cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and I used the same Die-namics to cut a strip of patterned paper from the Tiny Check Paper Pack, which I then trimmed down. I stamped "I'm So Thankful for You and PIZZA", from Pizza My Heart, using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.

Puttin' On The Glitz!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It's time for the December Hits & Highlights Feature, and this month, the MFT Design Team is Puttin' On The Ritz! SO fun!!

For my card today, I used the AWESOME Impressive Snowflake Hot Foil Die-namics! This creates the most GORGEOUS foiled snowflakes! I began with a panel of After Midnight Prestige Card Stock, and I sponged the edges using After Midnight Prestige Card Stock.

I used the Impressive Snowflake Hot Foil Die-namics and silver foil to create the snowflakes. I use the Spellbinders Glimmer System, and I simply worked one snowflake at a time until I had them all over the panel. LOVE. The sentiment panel was cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Skinny Strips Die-namics, and I stamped "WINTER WISHES & SNOWFLAKE KISSES", from Bitty Holiday Wishes, using After Midnight Premium Dye Ink. I finished off the card with a trio of rhinestones.

FYI: This was SUPER hard to photograph due to the foil. The snowflake looks larger on top due to lighting.

MFT Hits & Highlights - Shake It Up!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It's time for the MFT Hits & Highlights feature, and this month, the MFT Design Team is shaking things up with the A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics and A2 Rectangle Shaker Pouches! SO much fun!

I just LOVE the A2 Rectangle Shaker Pouches! SO many possiblities! For my card, I began with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock, cut using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics. Using Distress Oxide Inks, I sponged the background and blended the colors until I received the blend I wanted I spritzed the panel with water, and when dry, cut the panel using the Happy Birthday Script Die-namics. I then cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the Happy Birthday Script Die-namics, and then inset the white die-cut into the blended panel. LOVE this big Die-namics, it really packs a punch!

I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the new A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics, and then placed an A2 Rectangle Shaker Pouch inside. It's a perfect fit, and the exact size of an A2 card! LOVE. I filled the pouch using some yummy sequins that matched the colors in my blended background. I then added the blended main panel onto the pouch and viola!

November MFT Hits & Highlights!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It’s time for the November MFT Hits & Highlights Feature, and this month, the MFT Design Team is sharing projects for a Cool Christmas! Projects that feature the cool palette of blues and purple, and maybe a touch of shimmer as well!

I’ve used the DARLING new Snow Special and Snow Special Die-namics for my card today. These penguins are SO CUTE! I cut them both from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Snow Special Die-namics and stamped them using Snow Special with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copic Markers and popped them up with Foam Tape onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.

I cut a strip of Wild Wisteria Prestige Card Stock and stamped “Sending Joy & Cheer Your Way” from Snow Special using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed the sentiment using WOW White Embossing Powder. The background is a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and I stamped several snowflakes from Snowflake Splendor using Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink, Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink, Grapesicle Premium Dye Ink and Wild Wisteria Premium Dye Ink. I sprayed the entire panel with shimmer spray, so it is SUPER sparkly IRL. I finished off the card with a trio of rhinestones.

I LOVE the newest addition to the Pure Innocence family, Pure Innocence Somebunny Sweet, and I thought she would be perfect with a pastel palette! I began by cutting her from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Pure Innocence Somebunny Sweet Die-namics, and I stamped her using Pure Innocence Somebunny Sweet using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I colored her with Copic Markers and paper pieced her sweet little dress using a pattern from the Tiny Hearts Pastels Paper Pack. I popped her up with Foam Tape onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock cut using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.

The main panel of Smooth White Card Stock was cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and then added rectangle panels of patterned paper cut from the Tiny Hearts Pastels Paper Pack, Graphic Grid Pastels Paper Pack and Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots Pastels Paper Pack, all cut with the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I layered them and popped them up with Foam Tape, and then added a sentiment panel cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics. I stamped “Happy Easter” using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I finished the card with a trio of Lily White Sprinkles.

MFT July Hits & Highlights!

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It’s time for a SUPER fun new monthly feature from MFT, Hits & Highlights! Each month, the MFT Design Team will be creating with specific products, and this month, it’s all about shaker cards! The fabulous line of Shaker Dies and Shaker Pouches at MFT makes creating shaker cards SUPER easy and super fun!

Print

For my card, I started with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock and cut it using Blueprints 1 Die-namics. I sponged on Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink all over the panel, and then “stamped” the panel using the Transparent Triangles Background and water. Jennifer McGuire did a fabulous video showing this technique and I really like it! I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics.

I cut the panel using the Heart Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics and then filled a Heart Shaker Pouch with a few different types of sequins. SO fun and easy! I added the pouch to my card and then added a white frame around the heart cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Heart Shaker Window & Frame DIe-namics again. I cut a panel of Cotton Candy Card Stock and stamped “YOU ARE LOVED (A LOT)” from More Essential Sentiments us

ing Versamark Ink and then heat embossed it with White Detail Embossing Powder. A trio of sequins finished off the card.
